I was watching it and thinking it too! Just the part of MJ owning the songs! MJ seems to be on alot of things related to Beatles... there was a commercial for Glee and singing Beatles song while watching AI with Beatles songs. But is funny, I immediately think Michael!

I think the issue might be that if MJ is alive, the fact that he's "making money" as a result of the hoax is not exactly on his list of objectives. And if he's dead, well, I guess just not the best thing to bring attention to.
I'm sure you didn't mean it in any offensive way though. :)

Making money off the beatles isn't part of the hoax he already owned that catalog long before his death/fake death so it would be perfectly legal.

To clarify....I know he already owned the catalog, and I know it would be and is perfectly legal (I don't think I mentioned legality). Someone made a statement and then someone asked a question, and I tried to explain why some people (myself NOT included) might have been bothered by the post (I was not bothered in the slightest). When I said "as a result of the hoax" I simply mean that if the hoax is real, he is making money for his kids--for all appearances sake--a result of it...because if there was no hoax, and if MJ was not presumed dead by most of the world (as in, say, nothing happened on June 25), then he would be making money for himself, rather than for his kids, because he would still be around and the kids would not be making money through a supposed dead MJ's Estate.

Why? Arent you proud that MJ had the BRAINS to buy all the freakin Beatles catalog of songs and that his business deal is paying off and MJ's kids are benefiting and not FREAKING SONY!!!!! I'll say it again!

I don't see anything wrong with this thread. He made money before by owning the catalog so I don't see anything illegal or wrong about his estate making money now (or him) ;) . He was definitely a very smart guy & we should all be proud of him for outsmarting everyone & for being a better businessman than most :mrgreen:

In what part of my post did I mention Hoax? Did I ever mention HOAX? I'm calling attention to the fact that SONY's Grubby little fingers don't have the catalog and in his "DEATH" he's able to take care of his own while SONY and AEG are all benefiting themselves off his death... I'M SAYING THE MAN IS GENIOUS.I hope sony cringes everytime they hear a Beatles song!

MJ sold the rights to half of it but held on to the half that made the most money...Sony always wanted it and even gave the DA MJ's financial records to help build a motive for holding Gavin and his family captive at neverland. If MJ was convicted like they planned, he wouldn't make or sell any more music and would be forced to sell off the half that Sony had their eyes set on.

Please, could you please stop and if you would not like to participate in this discussion just stop instead of feeling like you have to get that last word. I don't like seeing people fighting over silly little things that, in the big scheme of things, don't even matter. Could please everyone here try and be a little more respectful. I feel like every time I am on here there is a fight of some sort and I'm getting tired of it. Can we all please contine to spread L.O.V.E. Thank you :)
