London, March 28 (ANI): Michael Jackson's fans are reportedly shelling out up to 3,000 pounds in bribes to have a look at the star's final resting place in Glendale, California.
The singer's family was said to be fuming after followers were littering the marble tomb at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park with disrespectful photos.
"The family believe some former staff members who can find their way around existing security have been smuggling in fans for visits and charging them up to 3,000 pounds for the privilege," The Daily Star quoted a source close to the family as saying.
"Fans are taking in memorabilia and posing for inappropriate or even disrespectful photos next to Michael's tomb. It has got completely out of hand. Photos of Michael's final resting place have been turning up on websites all over the net and it is really starting to upset the family.
"Then there's the worry about safety and security. There is a risk the fans could scratch or deface Michael's marble tomb or take away keepsakes left behind by friends and family.
"The family are now taking steps to drastically reduce the number of people able to visit Michael's burial site and security has been tightened up. As part of the new measures, the list of people actually allowed into the mausoleum will now include family only and no one else," the source added. (ANI)

Is this to be trusted? How can Fans "sneak" in by bribing when all the secirity had been withdarwn? Or are they scared of someone blowing their cover?

Wasn't the initial plan to have heavy security, so that other people were not allowed into the Masoleum? The only picture I've seen on the web, is the supposed photo taken by Karen Faye, and the other pictures are from Lisa Burks fan club.
OK. This is weird. So I'll try and find the truth within these lies.
1. Money can buy anything.
2. How people in authority, can turn corrupt when money is involved.
3. The family do look at the internet and watch youtube.
4. Fans are starting to become suspicious because they have never seen any family members attend forest lawn, so they put a total ban on anyone besides family visiting.
5. Why would anyone steal something from the Crypt that was placed there from the family???
Are they afraid someone might steal MJ body , just the same as James Brown??

I believe the security has allowed people in. And if money is the force that rules it, I can believe it. People will do anything for money if it';s enough and they think they won't get caught.

I know for fact that there is a group of people who trek there every month and have made friends with a couple of the security personnel. I would not be in the least bit surprised if they had gotten chummy enough to be able to bribe them. One turns into 2, and so on.

ok if this story is true and some ppl did bribe the security guards and went next to the tomb, im sure the pics they would take they would go sell to the media and charge absolotuley load after all the world would believe they are MJ's tombs pics. The pics would be on the news, newpapers and magazines but i havent seen any so i think this is just BS :P

No need to scratch heads..I despise tabloids as much as anyone else.....I just came across this on Yahoo!......And thought that it could be worth a mention...given the weird stories circulatin of late.......Thats all there is to it.

This is why it's so important to do our best to research credible sources, and not the dirty rags. It just simply wastes precious time and energy to research their lies. It's a distraction and set-back in getting to the truth.

To me is hard to believe in this story and here is why.
I have posted several times that I live 5 min. away from Glendale Forest Lawn and went there 3 times.
All I see is locked door to Holly Terrace and nobody next to it to ask take flowers in, beg to allow look at the grave, or bribe.
As I posted in other topic here, next Saturday, April 3rd I am going again to observe everything myself.

I emailed them as well some months ago and they told me the same that it was private and if you wished you could order flowers and the security would take them there or if you send letters they will be sent to his mother, but dont forget the video of the fans actually lookin in through the open gates at the tomb i think the security man might have been called colin the video must have been removed as i cant find it anywhere not unless any of you can find it. but it was a real film with lots of fans who seemed to be having a good time.

I do not believe this story ,the Jackson's could sue them for this ,I'm sure that along with million dollar deals like this contracts go along and as the Jackson's were very,very. concerned about privacy ,I'm sure the security was in the contract ,and that would be a "breach of contract " . that's excatly what i meant a couple of times by 'alien news'. think of the tabloids in 'men in black' and tommy lee saying: this is the news for us. the INSIDERS! you just have to read between the lines, not take it for real as it is. it's still information but we know what they mean while the rest of the world just swallows the sh!t that is thrown to them. we make the connection, do the research and put the clues together while everybody else thinks, mike is dead. only the insiders take the effort, that's what mike is banking on, too. this is still 'recruiting time' for the army to be...(think 'v for vendetta' - pulling the people on his side... :mrgreen: )
and i do think that mike himself is feeding the tabloids with this. where else would all that 'just revealed' stuff come from?

I just read on another site that someone called and spoke to a receptionist at Forest Lawn who told her that MJ had not been received at ANY Forest Lawn Cemetery in California.
Has anyone ever called them?

If my memory serve's me right, some have mentionned in this forum that people had called and we're told by forest lawn they could not adress such questions for privacy and security reasons. So I dont know... but wow if this is true..... :roll: (off to my dreamjackson world!) :lol: :lol:
