Anyway, below is the information posted for today. Isn't it odd that Joe is the only one that's filing the lawsuit...but Oxman will add any other family member that wants to be included. That's a strange statement to be made public, right? Also, if notice is sent on Monday 3/29, and they have to give 90 days notice before the lawsuit can be filed, June 26th (I welcome anyone to redo my math for me) is the day the lawsuit can legally be filed.

TMZ has learned Joe Jackson will send Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyer a notice next week that he will be filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the doc for the death of Michael Jackson.

According to California law, the plaintiff in a medical malpractice, wrongful death suit must give 90 days notice before filing the case in court.
Brian Oxman, Joe Jackson's lawyer, tells TMZ the suit will ask punitive damages, economic support, loss of companionship and loss of consortium (deprivation of family relationship). It will seek an unspecified amount of money damages.
Oxman says the case will be filed in L.A. County Superior Court. So far, only Joe has signed up, but Oxman says he will add any family member who wants in as a plaintiff.
UPDATE: Ed Chernoff, Dr. Murray's lawyer, just reacted to Oxman's move by saying, "That's like throwing a bucket of water on a man drowning in the ocean." Translation -- good luck collecting anything.

I don't think it's odd that Joe is the only one.
Joe wasn't included in the will, and he wants his share somehow, no matter what.
The other leaches are now supported by Katherine with Michael's money.

I don't think it's about the money for Joe or the family. I'm sure they realize they'll never see a cent, even if they win. Do you remember O.J. Simpson and the wrongful death lawsuit filed against him? I'm expecting too, that Dr. Murray's legal team will be asking for a continuance. With 2800 + pages of paperwork they don't have enough time to prepare.
