Michael Jackson Betrayed After Death
Tuesday, March 16, 2010
By Editorial Staff
The estate of Michael Jackson has signed a deal with the devil.

Jackson’s lawyers and family negotiated one of the most expensive music contracts in history giving Sony Music the rights to sell his back catalogue of music and commercially exploit a collection of unheard songs.

Michael explicitly said on numerous occasions that he thoroughly disliked Sony and its business executives, called administrators, such as Tommy Mottola “devils” and “racists,” and blamed people at that company as well as others for creating a “conspiracy” against him by tarnishing his image with child sex abuse accusations because they wanted to gain the rights to his 50 percent share ownership of the Sony-ATV music publishing catalog that includes The Beatles music catalog.

Even father Joe Jackson and sister LaToya stated recently they believed there was an evil cabal that conspired to keep Michael drugged to sign-over rights and financial accounts to them, distanced him from any friends and family and eventually ended their plot with his murder.

However, the Jackson family and estate executors, i.e. gluttonous, money-obsessed, unethical lawyers, succumbed to an offer made by the very company Michael disliked so wholeheartedly.

The legal agreement will guarantee the Jackson estate $250 million in advances and other payments on about 10 albums until 2017 and will allegedly offer a high royalty rate on both domestic and foreign sales according to sources with knowledge of the contract who spoke anonymously to The New York Times today because they were not allowed to speak about the deal publicly.

The agreement will also guide Sony and the Jackson estate through various forthcoming licensing projects, such as the use of Michael’s music for memorabilia, theater, TV and films.

“We think that recordings will always be an important part of the estate,” said John Branca, an entertainment lawyer and one of the estate’s executors, in an interview Monday. “New generations of kids are discovering Michael.”

“A lot of the people that went to see This Is It were families. This Is It was one of the few [American] films allowed into China. So we think there are growing and untapped markets for Michael’s music.”

Michael is worth more dead than alive.

Within a week-and-a-half after his death in 2009, Americans downloaded over 2.6 million Jackson songs, which was almost higher than the total amount of Michael music units purchased in about a decade domestically.

The New York Times published Aug. 12 that within 48 days of his death, “He has already earned $100 million through a film deal and various merchandising contracts, and the executors expect another $100 million to roll in by the end of the year.”

According to Billboard, 31 million copies of Michael’s albums sold since his death as well.

The fickle American fan-base was even documented in the number of plays of “Billie Jean” before vs. after his death.

Billboard stated on June 30, “research provided by Nielsen BDS of monitored airplay from over 1,600 terrestrial and satellite radio stations and cable music channels, ‘Billie Jean’ was the Jackson track with the most spins for the week ending June 28 with 4,540 — 97% of which occurred after news of his death became public. The track posted only 318 plays in the prior week [in the entire United States].”

“It’s not just a record deal,” said chairman of Sony’s Columbia/Epic Label Group Rob Stringer.

“We’re not just basing this on how many CDs we sell or how many downloads. There are also audio rights for theater, movies, computer games. I don’t know how an audio soundtrack will be used in 2017, but you’ve got to bet on Michael Jackson in any new platform.”

Expect to see some hyper-flexible leotard-bearing trapeze artists from Cirque du Soleil twirling to the music of Michael sometime soon in Las Vegas, i.e. The Beatles’ Love.

So what would you rather have: Michael alive at the young age of 51-years-old or some musicals on Broadway and in Las Vegas with people singing his songs and some albums of unreleased, unwanted songs?

He is alive!        Michael signed this deal himself.  An ESTATE exists whether you are living or dead.  An ESTATE is simply your assets and liabilities!

Let the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH CONTINUE!  This is the greatest VICTORY for Michael.  Now, we understand why the TII dancers were dressed in custom-made VICTORY TOUR jackets at the funeral!

The BIGGEST RECORDING CONTRACT OF ALL TIME, more than twice anything in HIStory to a "DEAD MAN?"  Come on people!

Could someone explain to me if this deal is true, which I'm sure it is, until 2017, then how in the world could Michael come back prior to any of this?  Everyone seems excited about this, but for me it says......Michael will not or "cannot" return. :|  :|

That is right, lovemj4everandever! You preach it, hun.  Amen! MJ is alive.  MJ is the estate. I do not think that a dead man could get such a deal. MJ, Big Daddy, you show the music industry how it is done, baby! ;) MJ, I love you! ;)

Tonight’s story is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction
A monster had arrived in the village
The major ingredient of any recipe for fear is the unknown
And this person or thing is soon to be met
He knows every thought, he can feel every emotion
Oh yes, I did forget something didn’t I? I forgot to introduce you to the monster.

You’re fearing me, ‘cause you know I’m a beast
Watching you when you sleep, when you’re in bed
I’m underneath
You’re trapped in halls, and my face is the walls
I’m the floor when you fall, and when you scream it’s ‘cause of me
I’m the living dead, the dark thoughts in your head
I heard just what you said
That’s why you’ve got to be threatened by me

You should be watching me, you should feel threatened
While you sleep, while you creep, you should be threatened
Every time your lady speaks she speaks of me, threatened
Half of me you’ll never be, so you should feel threatened by me

You think you’re by yourself, but it’s my touch you felt
I’m not a ghost from Hell, but I’ve got a spell on you
Your worst nightmare, it's me, I'm everywhere
In one blink I’ll disappear, and then I’ll come back to haunt you
I’m telling you, when you lie under a tomb
I’m the one watching you
That’s why you got to be threatened by me

The unknown monster is about to embark
From a far corner, out of the dark
A nightmare, that’s the case
Never Neverland, that’s the place
This particular monster can read minds
Be in two places at the same time
This is judgement night, execution, slaughter
The devil, ghosts, this monster is torture
You can be sure of one thing, that’s fate
A human presence that you feel is strange
A monster that you can see disappear
A monster, the worst thing to fear.

What you have just witnessed could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare.
It isn’t. It’s the beginning.

I agree. If he really is worth more 'dead' than alive for Sony and the estate to make their money he's going to have to stay out of the way until at least 2017. I'm still not sure MJ would agree to a contract with a company he so publically expressed his hatred for only to sign a rights deal with them. Either he had financially backed himself into a corner where he had no alternative but to accept the money, or he's not agreed to the deal.

Of course I want my angel alive! Where is this article from and who wrote it? It states that the family had a part/say in the new record deal which to me seem kind of weird since they can't access any of Michael's money... Some of you believe that this record deal could only have been made for someone who's alive but isn't that contradicting some of our theories? Remember SONY are the bad guys right? Michael always spoke out about them, are you saying that they know Michael's alive? Why would he have needed to fake his death in the first place then?

Idk, what to feel or think about this record deal. Feels like they're exploiting my sweet sweet Michael  :(

I think his gripe was with Mottola not so much Sony.

Yeah, he had a problem with Tommy that doesn't necessarily mean with Sony. Plus, didn't Michael own part of Sony? That speech he gave a few years back where he called Tommy a "devil" and said "you ain't seen nothin' yet", I'm pretty sure he said he now owns part of Sony (wasn't it half?). If that's the case, then he doesn't hate Sony and probably has more power than we know of at this point. That is exactly why he said YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN YET! The best is yet to come because he has taken control over his own assets...not letting anyone control him anymore.

This is the ultimate revenge and vindication. I cannot wait until it's revealed.

You can't sign a deal dead and another thing that bothers me is the whole debt thing he wasn't in debt how can a billionaire go into debt I don't think Michael is dumb when it comes to his finances, he is making money off the movie and now this deal but this is his job and he owns half of Sony so I guess there in debt to? doesn't make any sense

About SONY? Just because Tommy Mottola was fired does not necessarily mean he disappeared. My take on the matter is that he was still orchestrating SONY from "behind the curtain" as the new management publicly took office. Also, after MJ's supposed passing Tommy Mottola quoted himself as being "the gatekeeper" to MJ's catalogs. How can this be? Wasn't he fired???? I THINK NOT!!! It was just a public showing while all along he WAS and IS still pulling the strings at SONY.

On another note, I find the following "tweets" from Karen Faye regarding MJ's feelins about SONY VERY revealing. Karen writes>>>

.....Michael put his remaining share of the SONY catalog as collateral on a $270 million loan with Bank of America in 2005.

.....The catalgue is worth 2,00000000. That's 2 BILLION $$$$$$$$$

....,.Now the Estate aka John Branca aka SONY can choose NOT to pay the debt. And get the catalog back. Want me to draw a picture of the scheme?

.....MJ fired Branca for his conflicting interests with SONY. Now he negotiates a 7 year contract, over Michael's dead body.

.....you obviously do not have all the facts and understand how Michael felt about Sony.

@*****He did not want anything to do with SONY. He felt they were out to destroy him....LOOK HOW THIS IS GOING DOWN.

If you have a "twitter" account I suggest you take a look at some of her "tweets". They are quite interesting. I never knew she was silenced by FD (Frank Dileo) from speaking to the fans among a lot of other things. She even revealed:

@*****KO was very often extremely condescending towards Michael during rehearsals. Much was cut out of TII.

Do the math? Can we honestly believe that Michael would strike such a deal with SONY aka Tommy Mottola who is STILL, in my opinion, pulling the strings regardless of who the president of the company may be??????

I think if Michael is still alive, and thats a big "if" then I feel this is his way of finishing his career, out of touring, out of the limelight, etc. Just to produce.  If he is gone, this is the administrators and the family making a whole lot of money.  Too me, this is the only two options.  What else is left?  It makes sense to realize if he is alive and behind this deal, then he certainly would not come back.  Why announce this til 2017, and then come back

Bravo Michael,it's a great victory over those who tried to bash him during his life, one of the greatest deals in the history of  show business,i didnt doubt a second his smart mind,he is doing his things behind the curtain, not visually as he once said.
