When you give people reasons why global warming is a hoax, and that actually we´re cooling because of natural cicles, they skip the natural part and change their statement to:
"Well, let´s not say global warming, but climate change!"
After the winter we´re having, I think this may be the next argument of the elites... man caused global cooling... in fact in the 80´s they tryed the same with a cooling threat.

This stories about child molestations by priests has been happening through the years.
When I as a child, sometimes you just had to se a priest face to say eeeeeeeuuuuu!

Not to mention the thousands of times when priests have fathered.

young unprotected girls that use to live in the church house to help the priest.

Indeed, religious themes are somewhat delicate, but that doesn't mean they can't be discussed. It all depends on the way it's discussed.
I was born and raised a catholic. I was baptized, did my first communion, and received the holy confirmation. These three events took place because my parents wanted them to happen, I never had any saying in it. Soon after receiving the holy confirmation I got an aversion to the religion my parents choose for me, as I realized it was purely based on fear. All the church had been preaching for all those years I attended the holy masses was about hell and damnation. I thought: "Isn't God all about love? Then why are those priests trying to scare the living shit out of me for years now?". I stopped going to church as I don't think being a good person depends on attending masses every Sunday and giving money to the church.
Since then I have looked into many religions, and came to the conclusion that 95% is based on fear. I don't want to be a slave of fear. I came to the conclusion that there is a higher power, but I can't name that power. Whether the higher power's name is God, Allah, Jehovah, Buddha or whatever, I think true religion is in a person's heart. We all know what is good and what is wrong, therefor we don't have to be predominated by a certain religion which tells us what we can and can't do, and threaten us we will end up in hell if we don't live according to its rules.
My children are not baptized, as I didn't feel comfortable making the choice of a certain religion for them. They are free to chose their own religion if they want to chose one when they are old enough to do so. We do pray though and have faith in the higher power.
I hope I'm not offending anyone, because that's the last thing I would want to happen.

that teacher touch Gerie my schoolfriend, and I took a peace of wood that
the teacher used for the scoolboard, and HIT HIM..took Gerie with me
and went to princepal of that scool and told my mother and father.
And all of the kids!! :!: But that teacher has to leave and never enter
any scool again. Yes I was a rebel during that time, who was fighting
always for the small kids, I even fight with a larger boy from group 6.
And show him the whole large play ground!!

Yes, I agree Mo, as you say it all depends, as discussed, I too was raised as catolicam I was baptized, I did communion, and all such acts took place by my parents. I'm not going to church, forgiveness ... I go once a year, every year on 22 August from 3 years ago, at that time my mother died, and every year when it meets another anniversary is the custom in my family go to Mass that day .. very early in the morning, my aunts, cousins call my home very early, to remind me that we need to go to church that day.
I happens after a person dies, but do not think my mom needs a church on August 22, I have this every day of my life.
I believe in God but do not believe in a God who is sending me to hell if I do not meet the rules established a group of men.
