this is an announcement! the 'light man' is gonna be seen soon, probably on a very big stage, and if i'm not misunderstanding the lyrics in combination with the footage here (hard to hear, lousy speakers...), 'someone' is gonna step out of it!!! :mrgreen:

ok, thx for this update. :mrgreen: then my next question would be: why take this ANCIENT DEMO and use it as a soundtrack for presenting the lightman?
my take: the lightman-presentation is gonna be at night, of course, so everybody can see the screens well. plus, it's safer to disappear unnoticed, in case things don't go as planned, for whatever reason. :mrgreen:

The original title for Thriller was actually "Starlight". I remember seeing someone that worked in the studio being interviewed and he said that MJ & QJ had reworked the words to the original song.

This video is "pieced" together -- I'm not sure that because it includes some new rehearsal footage that it necesssarily means that they were going to use this version in the lightman opening. I think the person who put the video together just chose the demo version for the video's music -- I didn't get the impression that this was used in the rehearsal.

still, blackfedoraworld has made some serious vids. in this one, there are clips from 'remember the time', 'you are not alone' and 'ghosts' and from tii, where he is onstage speaking, not performing (explaining everything?).
it's that whole 'disappearing/reappearing' thing again (remember the time), 'you are not alone' meaning he will be there, too (fans are not alone), and the 'ghosts'-thing which tells the whole story with him being chased away from 'someplace else' by people who don't like him. i take blackfedora's vids very serious. plus, i'm in full hoax mode, so i say: clue!
