My daughter had Oprah on and Celine came, she's so gorgeous and such a good supporter of MJ. Just some things I noticed initially. The cover on her movie she is standing like MJ on This is it. She is wearing a diamond necklace with a butterfly on it (for Resurrection). It's only in Theatres for 2 weeks (like they announced for MJ). Then best of all Oprah asks her about singing MJ's earth song on the grammies, and she launched into a spectacular praise of Michael: including how she's been a fan since she was 12 or so, learned English so she could maybe perform with him someday, loves him still so much, and wants to spread his message around the world. Maybe someone could post a link to the show. She said she was mad he died. Love that girl.

I agree, i'm watching. She's like a female MJ. She's so loving. She has had a huge effect on the whole world, especially the Arab world. She's trying to spread a message, and it's working. They have a lot of comparisons.

I saw her when she was rehearsing for the grammys she said she was angry he had died she looked angry as well

I love Celine Dion too, my first single I ever got was one from her I'll never forget that. But it was in her time when she was still singing French. She is a good supporter of Michael too!

I've been following Celine's career since she was 12.I'm a "quebecker"like her,she's always been a huge Michael Jackson fan!The day he "died" on one of the Québec news channel,they interviewed her via phone and she was very emotional,she cried,it was very touching.She also talk about when he went to see her show in Vegas,he went to see her backstage and she was very honour that he came to see her sing.He asked her many questions about her show.He gave her a fedora that he singned that she said is very dear to her.(Don't know if he gave her that night or another time,I don't remember)
Like Michael,I find her to be very humble.I'm sorry I mist her on Oprah today.

Yeah I saw this interview too. Poor Celine :( I was crying when I was watching this interview. She is a huge fan of Michael.

Can someone please tell me if these butterflies indicate something we don't know? After all, first Beyonce on the Grammy's and now Celine are proudly wearing them......does that indicate they know something??????

Yeah Celine spoke very highly of MJ. People on here are saying that she said she was mad that he died? I thought she said she was mad because he couldn't be there referring to the grammys. I believe that's what she said if I'm not mistaken. She was also stressing the importance of spreading MJ's message during the performance. Another thing I noticed that she said that stuck out to me. She said she thought MJ was very ill because of the way he was shown by the media but when she saw This is it she knew that MJ was not sick but indeed healthy. I find that very interesting that she would say that. She is not the first person to say that MJ was indeed healthy.

I´m sorry but this video is for 2006..... so maybe they did tributes.... and interviews before.... but we know the media didn´t like to show that.... it didn´t sell..... I can´t say for sure Celine didn´t talk nice about him before.... as I´m not a fan and I don´t know everything she does......
I know that if I weren´t a fan of Michael there is "a lot" of good things about him that I would not have seen....

Oh my gosh, that video is so funny! :lol: I could be wrong but I don't think Celine met MJ until he moved to Vegas. I love that she's always been such a huge fan of his.
