Can it be Thai language? Does anybody know yet what was written on the girls forehead in Earth song movie. The symbols look the same language. Is anyone able to translate this language here? or anyone who knows which language this is exactely?
-
It isn`t Thai... thai letters seems different.. Zaldy said it`s arabic...
-
That's Arabic. I can read it a little but I can't really make something out of it.
I'm gonna email it to my brother in law, he should be able to understand it.

I agree with Dancing Machine, I speak arabic too, as you've noticed these are arabic letters, but the words ... :?
-
LOL! I was just about to post a thread on this!
I speak arabic! and I noticed that whatever is written on it is in arabic text or alphabet but it does not say HEAL THE WORLD in arabic and its not even the english pronounciation in arabic text! but there are a lot of languages that use arabic text and there are many arabic dialects! The text is definately not classical Arabic! but i'll do more research on this and maybe someone else will recognize what it says!

-
Ok, I just asked a Egyptian colleague about the text and he said that it might be just single letters without any meaning (so not words) or that it Pakistani or Indian.
I'm North African, that's why I couldn't make anything out of the letters.
-
ummmmmmmm.. weired!!!
i'm an arabian girl :P
i can confirm that these are arabic letters... but those words don't mean anything!!!...

Some of the letters can't directly be translated to the Western letters, cause the pronunciation is really different. But I'll try to do my best to translate the letters that can be translated :geek: .
Arabic has to be read from the right to the left. So from the right to the left:
S-H-M-M
(http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8061/17756811.jpg)
I have no idea how to translate the above letters cause there is no direct translating but it sounds something like GH-G (Like a Spanish 'J' ) - GH
(http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/6484/athr.jpg)
A-TH FA TH-(I dont know how to translate the middle one) - TH
Hope this helps a little ;)
-
Thank you Dancing_Machine! You`re great!...
I will mix those letters, somehow...I don`t know how.. :?: .I`m confused ....
But you did a great job!
-
In MJHD.NET they said it means Heal the world in old arabic
-
on THIS IS IT DVD in extras Zaldy talks about it, and he even says what it means or what it suppose to mean.....lol, so check it out!
-
A link ?

I think I found something interesting!
The word you see here on the left:
..supposed to mean: credibility / reliability
Well, that kinda interesting isnt it :geek:
Are here any Arab people (or others ofcourse) who speak the classic Arabic? Is it true that its suposed to mean something like credibility/reliability?

I can read it, but I don't understand the meaning of the worlds. Its just a englishman reading Dutch worlds. Knowing what it says, without knowing the meaning. So if I read it: I read to following words: LAS FA/VA SAQAS.
I hope I helped A lil bit!

LOL it's true, like a Englishman reading Dutch words, some words are the same the rest is... :| .
I can read Arabic too but I have no idea what these letters say. As you can see in one of my previous posts I asked a Egyptian man who can read and speak Arabic, he said that it's not the classic Arabic but maybe Indian or Pakistani. :?

I know the Indian language, this is not indian. Pakistani can be a option. More pakestani then Indian for sure.
(so where are you from, IF I am allowed to ask)

I enjoy puzzles and was wondering, just out of curiosity, if anything appeared more clearly if those symbols were flipped upside down or upright???? Could it be another cryptic message? Who knows? However, the one word that was deciphered above with the series of letters LAS ..... The first thing that popped in my head was Las Vegas. It's amazing where the mind can lead us. With all of the expertise and passion on this forum, I am certain we will come up with the answer(s).
-
can it be that the letters are scranbled so we would have to put them in order that's why the don't make sense just a thought. :)
-

I live in NL too :D
Farsi, is that Iranian?

Those are not symbols but letters, so it's not really possible to read them upside down.
But maybe you're right about the LAS. You never know with Michael. ;)

I think your right. But it's hard to mix arabic letters to form a word.
I already know my head is gonna hurt when I'm gonna try to mix them

http://mjisalive.tumblr.com/post/380870158 (http://mjisalive.tumblr.com/post/380870158)
Ive found this link but I dont know what to make of it, it's very interesting but when I type the text in google I dont get do you mean: will you be there

I'll be back if i find something else!
-
OK so I think I got it!!! I cant believe I didnt get this earlier!
Ok so I have any arabic/english keyboard! by pressing the letters written here using an English keyboard you'll get this
Will you be there!

???? ??? ??? ?? ???
ere ht eb uoy lliw ====> will you be there
and try to copy this “???? ??? ??? ?? ???” in google search
REMEMBER, You read arabic from right to the left. So the first word from the right, has 4 letters. IF I translate to Western lettres: S-H-M-M: you read it like SAHMAM, so if it is 4 lettres, then why is he typing 3 lettres (ere) on his keyboard?

Yeah i've just tried it with english/arabic keyboard. The same stuff i've got. Will you be there.
So this is obviously not the "Heal the world" in arabic as Zaldy said. Why did he say that? I mean he is the designer he should know what is written on the jacket.
-
?? ????? ???? that means will you be there when translated to Arabic and in the jacket it has bits and pieces removed from the word but looks pretty close to it
-
in the jacket it has bits and pieces removed from the word but looks pretty close to it
-
Might just be me but it looks similar to what was on The girls forehead in Earth Song. O.o
-
I think it's will you be there because the designer probably used Arabic to make the words but when you translate it they put letters together thinking it makes sense, but in actuality its doesnt its like me trying to type in arabic using english letters, so in the end it should mean will you be there
-
Why do you think the designer used Arabic letters to spell " Will you be there " ?
-
When I saw GH in the above post, I went GH!!!! Yikes, that's that mindcontrol guy from Midnightmlk's Twitter! I freaked out about that one!
So is now... Will you be there... Right? And no GH on there? I hope so! :?
-
Why do you think the designer used Arabic letters to spell " Will you be there " ?
I dont know :? because he said it says heal the world! maybe its just a mistake. It was supposed to be a jacket for heal the world and we are the world, and he wanted to include things from around the world! I dunno if you saw the extraz on the dvd but its there
-
will you be there when I come back maybe that is the way Michael wanted it to be interpreted I mean how many people would search up what the letters mean when in tii they already said heal the world I think it is a clue
-

-
i'm an arabian girl.... so trust my language plz :)
it is ( will you be there)
if you have a keyboard that has arabiac/english letters.....try to write these arabic letters while your keyboard language mode is english...
like
if you press
w= ?
i= ?
l= ?
will = ????
and the same with the rest... try it for urself
hope u understand my point!!
-
OMG :o :o :o :o
i can read arabic
but with punctuation ...
seems im blind when im reading arabic words without puntuation
i'll try to ask my friend who can read it
-
i watched the special features last night and the designer said it says

he described all the outfits and how one of the weighed 10lb which is heavy like two bags of potatoes that MJ would have to dance around in... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

And Michael would have to dance with two bags of potatoes on his back?
I guess this costume was created only to be shown in the exhibition.

@akiraka
exactly!! makes you wonder doesn't it!! hmmmmmmm
