UPDATE: Approximately three hours before Dr. Conrad Murray's schedule 1:30 pm PST arraignment, security concerns were growing. Dr. Murray's spokesperson Miranda Sevcik told RadarOnline.com: "The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department has expressed security concerns to us, and we don't want to add to that situation, so the venue
could get moved. Dr. Murray might not attend the proceedings. We are waiting to hear from the D.A."
But Steve Whitmore, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department downplayed the security concerns and said: "The only security concerns we have is for the media overflow parking, and making sure the media doesn't venture into unauthorized areas, if they do, we will escort them out. It's steady at the helm for us."
Dr. Conrad Murray, his lawyers and even his spokesperson have all received death threats in the days before the arraignment of Michael Jackson’s doctor.
On Friday morning, confusion surrounded the situation of Murray surrendering to be arraigned. The doctor and his team believed they had a deal with the District Attorney’s office to surrender Friday at 1:30 pm PST. But Murray’s people then received word that the DA might not be ready and as the morning progressed, Murray’s rep Miranda Sevcik told RadarOnline.com: “We are waiting for the phone to ring.” She said Murray’s camp was unsure where to go and what to do.

She also confirmed that Murray and his attorneys have received death threats. “People come out of woodwork. We’re talking about Michael Jackson fans, come on, they are very upset,” Sevcik told RadarOnline.com.
“He (Murray) travels and we have been careful. He has not let it affect his life. But, when you have this much attention on this event (the arraignment), then people know where he is gong to be so we have to be very careful.”

She also told RadarOnline.com that it was possible Murray would not attend today’s legal proceeding, but that, like everything else, was undecided as confusion and chaos surrounded the situation.
Murray was Michael Jackson’s person physician and administered propofol right before the singer died last year.

Sevcik told RadarOnline.com: “The threats against Dr. Murray we take very seriously.”

i am not in a position to exclude the possibility that he might be getting death threats, but if so, how come then he was walking by himself in Forest Lawn, with no visible security - just the cameraman :? :? :?

Well, nobody knew that, but anyone can wait him at court.
Anyway you may be right and it may be odd in this situation.
On the other hand, we don´t know who was with him at FL.

and who would be responsible? Karen Faye and her cronies... whipping up a frenzy on Facebook and Twitter. We have already seen the public death threats made to Kenny Ortega and i imagine that is nothing compared to what some of these nutjobs will threaten Murray with.
Michael Jackson would be ashamed... SORRY MICHAEL!!! NOT ALL YOUR FANS ARE BEHAVING IN SUCH AN UNASHAMED MANNER AS THIS. xxxx

Again, who insists on the existance of these alleged deat threats? Murray's camp. And who counters and says they know nothing about any death threats? An authorised LAPD spokesperson.
If there were REAL death threats they would have been reported to the police and a record of them would have been made.
Please guys, read for content. READ what the articles say. READ VERY CAREFULLY WHAT THE WORDS SAY.
Journalists are hungry for ANYTHING to publish an article about. That's the point. Murray's camp is feeding them, they've been doing this for a long time now.

Makes you think that things in the kitchin are coming to the boil now! I think tomorrow could be quite a "hot" day on the news front. We shall have to wait and see. :?

This makes no sense at all. IF Murray and his attorney are worried about security, then why is he gallivanting all over Los Angeles. The so called doctor went back to work in his Houston practice. He didn't seem to worried then. Oh and something else that is not sitting well with me, how can Murray afford the high dollar lawyer? Remember he was in court not long ago for child support issues and could only pay $700.00 in cash! :roll: He was in huge dept before all of this began then he didn't work for a spell and now he has Brittany Spears old attorney. Give me a break. This guy is not working for free! As far as death threats go...none of Michael's REAL supports believe in violence. If it is happening at all, it is some weirdo and we gets those with every high profile case.
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet but the other night TMZ caught Jimmy Kimmel out and about. They asked him (which I thought was weird) what he thought about Dr. Murray. He said, I think he should kill himself" I find that very strange because everyone knows Jimmy is no fan of Micheal's and that he ripped Micheal apart every night during his trial and even after the supposed death.
