Mrs.J requests that a poem be read at the end of the "WE ARE THE WORLD" remake in memory of Michael, and his children may read it.

Wow. Katherine sure is getting them to be involved in everything. I mean it's only right that they should accept his award at the Grammys & if they really wanted to, as it is being said, they should be able to be a part of one of their daddy's greatest projects - We Are The World. It's his message & he wrote the song. I'm just surprised because I always thought she was the very protective one that didn't want to put them in the spotlight since Michael didn't do that. Interesting. Maybe it's all part of the plan somehow, to put the kids out there? Maybe it's all building up to something bigger...

I think it's ok. They are being included in their dads big moments and I think it will be theraputic for them IF he is gone. It is also only right to remember him in the remake, as he was the one that wrote the song, and I think he would be proud to have his children be a part of it. I can only hope that this is what Mrs. J is thinking as well. It is sad that just 7 months after his supposed death, they are making a remake (without him). :cry:

I think it's okay too. I'm sure they probably want to take part because they know how much things like that were important to their daddy. I think it will be good for them too as long as they are only doing things like accepting things on behalf of him or doing things that he was a part of or would have supported. Just as long as they don't have them take on too much, that would be too overwhelming, I think. They are still young, they can say what they want to be a part of but the adults such as Katherine need to be careful that it doesn't start to become too much. I'm all for them participating in the remake though, so sweet :mrgreen:

Exactly. An although the message comes from Mrs. Jackson we all know that it's all being controlled by Michael. He continues to call the shots.
As for the remake, I watched the video. I dunno. I question oh 90% of the celebs that wanted to be involved. Is it for the cause or their own self interests and publicity. Makes one question their sincerity.
