Title: The Official Grammy Thread
Post by: TruthBeTold on January 26, 2010, 06:15:54 PM
this can be the official grammy thread from now on so we can discuss about the grammys...

guys i really feel something could happen.. it makes sense to me.

1. MJ promised producers he would perform this year
2. producer of grammys is long time MJ associate
3. Why chose earth song 3d instead of thriller 3d?
4. some of TII dancers slipped up on twitter saying, rehearsing for mj, then quickly changed it when they realised they slipped up
5. and the grammys is at staples centre where it all started

TII rehearsals = the making of, memorial = death of & Grammys = resurrection

Thanks for the thread; but if we are all being realistic with this thing, he will not show up at the grammys, that wouldn't be a smart move.

Michael would be greeted with gasps and boos, if Michael is going to return it will most likely begin with a major press conference, not just BAM he appears with no explanation.

if he doesnt come back at the grammys then when will he? does anyone else know of any other worldwide event to be televised, put on internet, and radio broadcast at the same time ? imo michael wants the whole world to be paying  attention when he returns. and this is it.

I think it might be in June. Tito on Twitter indicated that the Jackson 5 would be possibly touring then and hopefully the show will then go into 2nd season.  Why use the Jackson 5 still?  They could use the Jacksons. but they are staying  with the Jackson 5. Then there is the hidden pic of Mike in the background for show background. Not sure , just a feeling

Whatever happens: Its all for L.O.V.E  8-)

I think anyone who thinks Michael will comeback, at a tour, award show, major event etc is really deluding yourself, and setting yourself up for disappointment after disappointment.  There is no way he'd do that; it wouldn't be a smart move at all.

You cant sit there and type michael WILL NOT , MICHAEL WOULDN'T , you just cant sit there and type that because you simply do not know michael. If your going to come on my topic and post whitty remarks such as that then please don't post on my topic again.

like i said, there is no way in a million years you can say michael wouldnt do this or that, or wont come back here and there BECAUSE YOU  SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW HIM, non of us do, that is part of his overall mystique

After The Grammy Awards Lionel Richie and other celebrities will perform a new version of We Are the World to benefit Haiti.Michael will perform too ( Lionel says ).
I don't think Michael will appear in public to sing. I think will be a record with Michael....As was at the funeral in July at "will you be there" ,in my anguish and my painS , now will be we are the world, we are the childrenS  :D  :D

I Don't think he comes back at the grammy's.
Read the Post of 7even " Did you wake up"....he posted that we must go on with point two...at first we realized Michael is alive and we have to go on with spreading the massage...that sounds that we have still a lot to do untill  Michael comes back....for me it dosn't sound like that is in i few days....but i can't be wrong.
Aloso i can't beleave that the kids will perform at the grammy's....wasn't it Michaels will to let them out of the media ? All my feeling for Michael that i became the last months sad, no dosn't want that.....we will see...
When is the Grammy award ? Sunday night ? It will be in germany at monday morning ????

I have to agree with Butterfly on this one. Sorry guys. I too dont think it would be a good move for him to show up at the Grammys...I think that after all the disappointments we've ALL experienced over the last few months, we need to be positive yes, but we cannot ASSUME anything with MJ. I think he WILL come back at some point but I dont think it will be at the Grammy's. Its a wonderful thought and I hope he shows up too, but I have to start being realistic and just give MJ his space...know what I mean?
I feel we are becoming too demanding with his return and if anything I think that is putting a damper in things. LET HIM decide when and IF he decides to come back and where it will be.

And please dont start arguements over such things....I tire of it very easily.

Source: Michael Jackson's Kids May Appear at Grammys
Tue., Jan. 26, 2010 7:30 PM PST by Ken Baker, Ashley Fultz and Lindsay Miller

Will the King of Pop's kids be singing his praises this weekend?

A source tells E! News exclusively that Grammy Awards producers have been making a last-minute effort to incorporate in some capacity Michael Jackson's children—Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket—into Sunday night's tribute to their late father.

The Grammys tribute will feature a 3-D mini movie set to Jackson's "Earth Song" that was going to be featured in his This is It tour.

"They've been working on everything from them singing to just making an appearance," the Grammys insider says of the little Jacksons' possible involvement.

When contacted for comment, a rep for the Grammy Awards telecast says she wasn't aware of the participation of the Jackson children. A family rep couldn't be reached for comment.

But a source close to the Jackson family tells E! News that, as of Tuesday night, the children "might" be there. The family source confirms that several members of the Jackson family, including father Joe, are scheduled to attend the Grammys.

"They might go, but Kate [Kathryn, their grandmother] is very protective of having them in front of the cameras, so I doubt they will walk the carpet," says the source.

Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson are among the confirmed participants in the Jackson tribute.

and i would like to know just who is 7even? i have my own mind. and imo i think that some people are really taking this thing a little more serious than need be. there is a beautiful message of love, awakening, and awareness. but you still shouldnt forget you innerchild in the process. meaning some of this was for fun as well. almost like the game clue. to keep you guessing. so relax and everything will fall into place.

It would be so great if he'd come back at the Grammys but I don't think he will.It would be too risky for him that the audience would start to booo or something. Maybe a short appearance for us believers? Just like someone said, everbody thinks he's a 3D Hologram but it is him in reality and then he'd disappear again...Or a video appearance, where he explains the whole thing....

You know, honestly, lets say he did appear at the Grammys. I dont think he would get booed. I think everyone would be in some serious shock and be so stunned, they wouldnt be able to boo him...there would be such a silence that you could hear a pin drop... OR they wouldnt believe its him.

I cant decide how i feel about the MJ kids performing at the Grammys... it feels all wrong.

I mean.. they are not MJ.  Remember how we feel about Lisa Marie Presley... she isnt Elvis and doing this to the kids is setting them up for a fall.   The kids will never be successful as their father and i dont think they should be put in the spotlight like this.

Basically on the Grammy situation I'm not quite sure Michael will BE THERE BE THERE...but if he is he would blow everyone mind and it will be the most awesome moment in music history!! it just goes together so well with the thriller moment from this is it everything is 3d and BAM Michael pops up and give a great performance but in our case appearance...but Marlon did say on ustream it will be surprise for who will accept the award. so i guess that surprise was blown out of the water with the children lol

I'm sorry but i found that a lil harsh
i don't think it's right to say that the kids will never be successful as their father.
Even if that is true we have nothing to show that they are not capable of it
Even if they are not as successful as their father u never know that maybe prince Paris or blanket can dance and sing and come close to mj's number when they grow up. maybe they are talented enough to keep the legacy of their father alive and follow in his footsteps or even build on to his legacy in their own way you never know!  :)

I wonder are they gonna do to PPB (Prince, Paris and Blanket) like they did with Mj and force them on stage to perform and/or accept awards? That is so sad. :( Blanket seems so shy. Prince and Paris need, and I'm sure, desire normalcy within their lives without all the paparazzi.

I can't wait for the grammys though. Let's hope for the best. :D

i'm not really sure if i'm following the real prince and paris at twitter, but so far all their tweets seem legitimate. and based on their most recent tweets, yes, Prince is a little nervous about the speech but what really touches my heart is that he's reminding himself that IT'S FOR DADDY so he gotta do it. Paris seemed excited about the performance. She tweeted that they are having vocal lessons so they would sing good at the Grammy's. I guess these tweets will all be put to test at the Grammys, i mean if they really perform then at least i can be more sure that they are the real kids on twitter.

It's seeming that all three of Michael's children will attend the Grammy's (along with other members of the Jackson family) and that  "they are set to "read some sort of speech" about him (-EOnline!)" So what kind of speech are they going to read and more importantly, who has written it?! Could Michael have written his own acceptance speech??

Just for the record, the kids DO NOT have a Twitter account.  This has been verified from the Jackson brothers (twitter.com/ALLJACK5ONS )...

there are a lot of fake Jacksons on here. marlon & I do not have twitter accts. we only tweet from here. MJ kids don't either.

I haven't been here in forever    Anyway, I just wanted to know where everyone's getting the information about the kids preforming at the Grammys?? I know that Prince and Paris are accepting the Lifetime Achievement award for Michael tonight, and that the video of that will be shown at the Grammys tomorrow. The article I read made it clear that Blanket was not going to be there. It was the New York Times, by the way.

They are only accepting the award for their dad, as far as I know they will not be performing. And if Blanket is not going to be present then where will he be with Grace ? Or maybe his daddy? ;)

MIchael will return in his own time, whatever that time will be.  It will be unbelieveable when he does return, and I beLIEve it will be unexpected, as Michael seemed to like the unexpected.  Since so many here are saying he will not be at the Grammys, maybe he will decide it is the right time to reappear.  8-)  We don't have too much longer to find out.  I hope he either comes back tomorrow night or gives us signs that he is okay and we need to keep spreading the message.  BUt, if neither one of those happen, I will keep the faith that he will come back to us when he is ready.

this can be the official grammy thread from now on so we can discuss about the grammys...

guys i really feel something could happen.. it makes sense to me.

You have some good points. I think something really could happen.

off topic~you should try to find murray :D  i see your in houston tx! lol

 i know where his office is....but haven't gone by there...might swing by there lol...scope the outside...make a little video (not go inside of course, just survey the outside)

Why not go inside?  Just ask someone at the desk if Dr Murray is black or white. After they answer you can say "thank you" and leave.  You shouldn't be arrested for asking a simple question...

Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson are among the confirmed participants in the Jackson tribute.

are the kids ready for all of this?

Report by Cnn this morning:
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/Mus ... l.jackson/ (http://edition.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/Music/01/31/grammys.michael.jackson/)

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's two eldest children will appear on stage Sunday night during the Grammy show tribute to their father, Jackson's father and others confirmed.

It would be the first public appearance for Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, since their dramatic appearance at the memorial service 12 days after their father's death last summer.

The children were to appear at a much smaller Grammy event Saturday night to accept their father's Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, but Katherine Jackson -- their grandmother and legal guardian -- agreed to the change, a spokesman for the pop star's father said.

Instead, former Jackson manager Frank Dileo made the Saturday night appearance. He also told CNN the Jackson children would be at the Sunday night tribute.

No family members had been invited to take part in either of the Grammy tributes to Michael Jackson until last week when the Jacksons complained, a family source said.

"However, there has been some recent rumors that I am displeased with the idea that Michael's children are accepting the award on my son's behalf," Joe Jackson said in a statement to CNN. "On the contrary, I am very proud of my grandchildren. Katherine and I are the ones who initiated their participation."

The youngest of the three, 7-year-old Blanket, is not expected to attend the show, although that could change, a family source said.

Jackson's oldest son is expected to read a statement on behalf of the family during the Grammy tribute, the source said.

The children will not enter the Los Angeles Convention Center through the media-lined red carpet, the family source said. Instead, they will be escorted backstage by Katherine Jackson, the family source said.

When Paris Katherine Jackson delivered a spontaneous speech at the massive memorial in July, it was the first time the public had heard from the children. They were often hidden by veils or blankets when seen with their father.

"Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine," she said. "And I just want to say that I love him so much."

Recording Academy President Neil Portnow, who oversees the Grammy show, said Sunday night's Jackson tribute will be "an extraordinarily emotional, moving and fitting tribute."

Singers Carrie Underwood and Smokey Robinson are among several stars who will take part in the musical tribute.

A segment of a 3-D video produced by Jackson shortly before his death will be shown. It was based on his pro-environment "Earth Song" for use in his "This Is It" tour.

Michael Jackson was 50 years old when he died June 25, 2009, just two weeks before he was to begin a long series of comeback shows in London.

The Los Angeles County coroner ruled his death a homicide resulting from a combination of drugs, primarily Propofol and Lorazepam.

A criminal investigation has focused on Dr. Conrad Murray, his personal physician who was with him when he died, although no charges have been filed.

You know I was talking  to another believer and she bought up a good point that Michael always protected the children's identity until a couple of days before his "death" and she felt that if Michael was in the witness protection progam ,that the children  being in public places and on camera would keep them safe so people would  know who they are  and that there is  less of a threat of happening on camera or if the public is watching them are for example Halloween Horror Nights etc  I think that makes sense.

when i think about how the this is it movie/dvd didnt delcare earth song to be 3D
and this whole thing with the 3D glasses for earth song
it make some think there is a hidden something in this
I dont know,  why the kids would do speeches, there just to young and if he really is gone
there still grieving, it makes me think there not grieving and there not doing speeches
they will be with there daddy on that stage.
Theres no way there going to be up there by themselves.
I keep thinking what will be the best way to come back if mj were going to do so
I think if he were to come back , he'd picked something big, I dont think he just show up and say
Hi have you heard any new rumors about me lately? either way whatever way he could do he will get some flack, maybe not boos, at first becaus epeople will be in shock, but I dont think society will be to happy that they fell for it, after the shock wheres off.

hmmm interesting ... kids doing a speech. All i know is that I might break down and cry if the speech isn't like the one at the memorial, because when I heard Paris of course it made me feel sad, but something was not correct, there was something missing... the dead part maybe. So, if in this speech they do talk abot his father like if he is real dead.. then i'll break down and probably will need some help from all of you to cheer me up saying that Michael IS alive and that the speech was just to make the illusion go on :S

Lots of L.O.V.E!!!

Something quite interesting another member found:

About why the kids did not appear yesterday
[/b]

Sorry for all of you that wanted to see the kids, but at the last minute, which is why Frank D said that he was accepting for them (once the family found out about the web cast), they pulled out. They wanted to see how the kids reacted before this would be aired, and when that did not happen, it was too much for them. Please understand, and feel free to ask any questions that you have.

Actually, they pulled out about 2 hours ago when they were told about the web cast. This was too surprising for them, especia;;y Prince. We are going to see if they want to try to say something at the tribute, but if they reacted this way, a live telecast mite be too much. Katherine and I will decide this after talking to the kids.  This is way too much pressure for these kids.

Why didint a family member accept the award?

I wish there was an explanation as to why a family member did not accept this award, or why it was decided for family to opt out of attending, but there isn't one. ThAs far as tomorrow, this is yet to be decided. Katherine asked for some help in seeing of it would be fit for the kids (this is to address the poster who asked why I was involved when I am not a close friend). Ultimately, it is up to them if they attend tomorrow. As of now, no decision has been made.

I also agree that it is unfortunate. Oh, and the kids are just fine.

Adressing the infamous TMZ and their so called sources

First of all, do not believe all that you read on the NET, such as reports from TMZ, etc. They have no conformation, or official statement, from the Jackson family on this matter. Michael's children will accept the award on their fathers behalf tonight, and it is not confirmed yet if it will be televised. This will all depend on how it goes for the children. Joe has not forced this, and he has nothing to do with it, and he has not stated that the children are agonizing over big speeches. The backlash over Jermaine accepting other awards for Michael is one reason the family decided this. The children agreed, and are fine with it. Lastly, as far as the kids being a part of the live telecast by singing on Sunday - no, there are no plans of that.

I still kind of doubt that Michael would appear so soon.
But i still don't know why a tribute would be that big.
A greatest moment?
I'm guessing 'cause it's in 3D?  :?

Yeah Frank accepted the award instead of the kids. Like I said earlier, i bet the kids didn't accept the award because they are going to appear the Grammys tomorrow
may i ask what everyone is talking about? people are posting grammy live links and stuff meanwhile for me the grammy are still over an hour away? whats everyone talking about, was there some other award show or something?

they give out the smaller grammy awards earlier before the show. That's why some people heard of artists already winning a few awards. they give out the bigger ones at the actual show

Yes a lot of people aren't there yet including Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jay Z, and Rihanna who are all supposedly part of the whole Illuminati thing. So I don't know what that means. Also if Michaels kids are there they are going with Katherine (and Michael maybe) through a backstage enterance instead of walking the red carpet.

If anyone can get the lyrics to the song Beyonce performed it seemed like she was singing about Michael or maybe Michael wrote the song for her. It seems the Grammys are really weird tonight like starting out Humanity Night with Lady GaGa and the Fame Factory than the song One 21 Guns about stopping war and the military in Beyonce's performance and at the end how she held out her arms just like MJ always did.

I think it's a country singer, there was a blonde singer standing next to her in the preview.
I'm not that into country though, so I don't know.
But it's not gonna be Michael, that wouldn't be such a great comeback...

BUT ther is definitely something in the air tonight! ;)

Michael Jackson could be behind all the performances of The Grammys this year getting his message across in a big way!! The Black Eyed Peas clothing reminds of the gear in This Is It and Will.i.am I thought he looked like MJ from the Dangerous era.

Even if he doesn't appear tonight his image is written everywhere. It cannot be coincidence with the soldiers, Beyonce grabbing her crotch, Pink's chandellier dancers, Black eyed peas popping out of stage, than sheet in front of the country band with images reflecting like smooth Criminal on the dangerous tour or the way you make me feel in the anniversary concert. Keep them coming MJ we're seeing you there!!
    BEYONCE GRABBING HER CROTCH!!!LOL but i notice that tooo!!! ;)
To bad I didn't see that ... I was out of the room at that time and coming in too late :D

I knew I saw her grab her crotch! I totally caught that! :p :D

I've never seen so many musical artists do military styled performances in one show. I thought Michael was the only artist to ever pull off military style stuff besides Janet who did Rhythm Nation 1814 which Michael gave his permission to use his style. I think Michael is having a good laugh tonight and is really trying to wake up the world.

Although I was hoping he would appear, and actually when Smokey Robinson came out of the dark and started singing, I was like, whoa!, but then realized it was just Smokey.  I guess the tears streaming down my cheeks fogged up my 3-D's.

Earth Song was amazing!!  The kids were beautiful as only we could imagine.  :P  Prince sounded like Michael and was so sweet.  One of the cousins looks very much like Michael, I don't know their names.  Paris wanted to say more but got all choked up.  I think she was referring to Michael telling one of the Grammy producers that he would be there this year.  It was the last night of his rehersal.  All these various people say they were with him that night, including the Grammy guy, a long time friend and maybe a producer of some of Michael's stuff.

Michael did sound like he was right there.  in the coming up stuff, they showed him singing on stage.  I wish they showed more of that.

I think with all the signs from the prior artists, I really felt we might we blessed with Michael appearing.  But, I guess he will come back in his own time and his time is not tonight.  I think it will be much more unexpected.....I hope!

Prince was excellent!  Great upbringing !  He is a natural and spoke very well for his age in front of all those people. He reminds me soo much of Michael. The 3d was great if you were watching on an HD tv. I saw it perfectly - I spoke to others who did not. BUT STILL - it was amazing. God Bless them.

Call me crazy but I really heard like MJ was singing his parts live.

No, you are not crazy...he sounded like he was right there.  In fact, he sounded much more clearer and louder than all of the others singing.  It would have been so cool if he just came out of the back with his mic singing, "Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha"  I guess we can dream...can't we?

I can't find them.  Wanted to check if it would have even been possible for Michael to attend the Grammys.

Mishael's kids are soooo adorable, they were so nervous. Usually when they honour someone who has passed away, they do a video montage showing that performers past works, but for the biggest star on the planet, they don't do any of that! :o The only person to talk about Michael was Lionel Ritchie and he didn't say much. Where were the family members?? This just enforces my belief that Michael is ALIVE!!

Once again the world will be buzzing about tonight's Grammys and this tribute to Michael, puting him in the limelight, so this would be the perfect time for Michael to make his comeback!! Lets see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Either Conrad Murray will be arrested or Michael will come back, something has to happen one way or the other because we, his fans, are getting too restless! I hope it is the latter. :D

The family was not invited. How strange is that? What does that tell you? The end definetly sounded live. Maybe we all want to much - my husband yelled at me when I suggested it. LOL!

But if you look at the Jackson's tweets they are proud, but not thrilled they were not invited. Prince was amazing - but the speech was more like a "you are away" sentiment - to me.

Ok guys just saw the video by luck on youtube...and when I saw you guys saying it was Michael singing live I thought you were  all going bonkers...but after hearing "What about Abraham?" and that last gasp...I have to say I have never heard him singing that part before just like that...it sounded so darn live!  And Paris...Paris she just proved to us he is alive lol....Daddy was supposed to be here, he was supposed to be performing( or something like that)...I love you daddy!  Yes, Paris we love him too...and love you too, babes! Got goosebumps all over...

Edit ** Ok maybe she didnt prove it, but there is something in what she said that just makes me believe he is still with us on this Earth! Maybe she was too nervous?  Those kids are beautiful...God bless them

Hmmm yeah i too though this could have been something like a clue that Paris said "daddy was supposed to be here" like she was condolling us as we were going to be freaked out again for him not coming back... I dunno may be i'm thinking too much. But it feels like there was a plan for grammy but it didn't happen for some reason, that is why this "daddy was supposed to be here".

Did anyone on her watch the E! Red Carpet preshow? One thing that kind of stuck out to me as slip up is when Ryan was interviewing Usher. They were talking about the tribute and Usher said something along the lines of "We are performing Earth song, it's a beautiful song that Michael would want to perform," then he quickly corrected himself saying like "this is what Michael would have wanted us to perform"

I can't remember exactly what he said but it was something like that... did anyone else see this. It started off my of "clues and slip-ups" ; )

When I saw the kids, I just fell apart. I really lost hope at the point. Which is funny because I was having a good day. I had watched this is it and i was telling my sister about all the inconsistencies and a possible hoax and my sister was very open mindedm, but then i see these grammy's and i got totally depressed. i dont know what to think.

so yall still believe there is a hoax going on?

I have to say I smiled when I saw the kids. They came up on stage laughing and smiling, until they had to recite their lines. (I say that because at times it seemed like Prince was struggling for the words he was taught to say. Either way, I still believe in the hoax.

thank you for your post. its encouraging. really again, the clip of the kids speeches wasnt anything we havent seen before really well except we heard prince's voice. but i didnt see either one of them cry or get red eyed, rosey cheeked. so i gotta wonder still... if this whole thing is a hoax and they know Michael is alive.

Post by: alovesmichael on February 01, 2010, 07:20:17 AM
I hope we weren't just hearing what we wanted to hear though... Non-believers watching the show probably didn't find anything strange about the whole tribute and speech where as we are trying to find "clues". However I did not find that tribute fitting for a KING, it was beautiful but shouldn't there have been at least a little bit more? And Michael not being on the RIP list is just strange  :? But if he's not on that list because he's alive it would mean that all Grammy organizers know about the hoax and unfortunately I don't find that very likely... Then there's all the other performances with references to Michael but I find it hard that all these artists would know about the hoax and many of them, e.g. Beyonce, have done very emotional tributes earlier.

Guys I'm not trying to bring anyone's hopes down but personally I'm trying to stay objective which is kind of hard. I really hope I'm not seeing and hearing things because I want to see or hear them  :( Everything is still very unclear.

There was something fishy about that Kanye West Taylor Swift thing..I think they inducted her and she's become even more famous to people who don't even like country (like myself). Yes she was famous before but If you weren't a country fan you knew nothing of her and that stunt at the MTV awards made her famous in all audiences. I wouldn't be surprised if she was involved in that freemason illuminati crap.

I'vwe just thought, maybe MJ wasn't on the list because they did a big tribute to him in the show so they only included people who were not mentioned in the show.  Hope I'm wrong.

Well, could the reason be they  left Michael off the list because they did a live tribute for him, so only the rest are mentioned in the In Memoriam video?

you know, I always think that Michael was in some kind of danger and had to fake his death. But when I see the grammys with Prince's speech and earth song, I sometimes think, did he did this to help the world? to open our eyes? Because Prince his speech was not really about Michael (ofcourse it was but you know what I mean ;)) but also alot about heal the world and stuff.. And they sing earth song so that just makes me think..

ok maybe it's only a suggestion of mine, but... I noticed that at the end of the Earth Song Tribute,  the direction has zoomed on this picture

http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/4638/moony.jpg (http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/4638/moony.jpg)

This picture was also used for the Moonwalker poster:

I know... maybe I'm wrong but ... what about a link with this pic, like Liberian Girl's Theme?
What if "Someone" wanted to send us another message?
We all know the Moonwalker plot, don't we? At the end ... he come back!

Let me know what do you think, guys...

hmm.. very interesting! Good thought! yeah maybe the liberian girl theme on his memorial and burial because he was in control about the memorial and funeral and he directed it. And now the moonwalker theme because thats a story about Michael being 'dead' and comes back! :D

But what me bothers is that with those pics you know during earthsong, they never show a pic of him when he was something in the 30 or something and also not a pic of this time!! Of Michael in 2009 or what ever. Those pics were from his younger years. Why not ONE pic of Michael when he was older?? yeah maybe because he wasn't really making music then but why not a pic of him like when he was 30 or something you know? Maybe a pic of him in like 1993. Why not? I love him everywhere! ^^

That's what I think. They used the earlier pics of him because he was on top in the 80s 90s. In the last 8-10 years he wasn't THAT successful. But it's interesting that most pictures that have been used in many events are from only one certain era...  ;)

I was sitting watching the grammy's with the boyfriend and he said "Im leaving the room when MJ comes on.." Hes anti -MJ and thinks he's weird...whatever..

So Earthsong comes on and I got him a pair of 3D glasses and he willingly took them and put them on and watched intently!! And then he commented on the kids...said they looked "well adjusted" in terms of losing their dad....I said, MJ is NOT dead and he just looked at me like he'd just eaten something rotten...but he liked Earthsong and said the 3D was cool, but they should have focused more on the screen then the singers (I agree)

I immediatly noticed this Earthsong was a different version then what weve all heard and I looked at the EARTHSON LIVE thread and almost poopied myself!! LOL

One thing got me thinking though...I wonder where John Mayer was, too bad he never sat in the audience unless it would give away something about Michael if John showed up. LOL

speaking of haters saying things alot of people around my way said he wasnt in the memory list thing because they did a tribute to him....but that doesnt make any sense lol
I thought of that too. But they did a tribute to Les Paul and he was on the list. So the reason must be that Michael Jackson is alive.

I'm not sure what to say after reading from page 4 to this one. First off, how dare you make fun of the kids? There were comments like "At least she's not talking into her purse" about Paris. It's not that harsh, I know, but it's low to point out a child's flaws >_> Both Prince and Paris were extremley nervous. Has anyone here not given a presentation? I've done so many times, rehersed for them, and totally forgot everything when I got up to do it. Paris probably just freaked out and decided to cut it short before she embarsessed herself. Maybe her speech wasn't supposed to be long in the first place *shrug*
Secondly, who said they were forced to accept this award? Maybe they wanted to, not to get on stage, but to honor their father-"daddy" as they all call him. Alive or not, Michael might still be away from them at times.

i trhink yeah, both were nervous but there was another thing that I noticed when I watched Paris...At the end of her speech, she looked like she wanted to say something more but then decided not to do it.. Prince and Paris were so brave accepting the award on their dad's behalve. You can still picture him, the little boy playing a game of chess with Michael, suggesting 'we should go live in a Castle like that'. His voice and manner of speaking resembles Joe. And now he stood so courageously on that stage, , with the whole world watching him and his sister, holding such a terrific speech. His father would have been so very proud of him.
Concerning whether Michael is still alive or not, it is harder to believe he is still alive after seeing his two children accept the award and holding the speech, eventhough they did not literally say that he is dead.

Ok, is it possible to write to the Grammy organizers and ask about why they did not include Michael on that list, not as hoax believers but as upset fans? If Michael is dead I sure am a really upset fan    Michael is the friggin' king of entertainment there is no way they just forgot him. If we contact an organizer they might have an reasonable explanation to why he wasn't included... It can't be that they left him out because he's alive, I doubt they all know about the hoax.

I never specifically mentioned any one person saying that. It's been said a billion times on this forum, let alone this thread. It's easier to speak from the heart, that might be why she seemed confidant. She was also surrounded by family. There was way less of them at the Grammys and they weren't that close to her.

The children seemed nervous, didn't they? Even they said that Michael was supposed to have performed this year, because he couldn't last year?  Does anyone know where the concert dates are posted? I can't find them.  Wanted to check if it would have even been possible for Michael to attend the Grammys.

Ok, I just checked the concert dates (Thanks CC for the link)
According to the schedule Michael would have performed on Jan. 25th, 27th, 29th, and then again on tonight, Feb. 1st.
How could he have possibly attended the Grammy show, let alone rehearse for it?  I think they are full of it.

Good point! As I've said before what if they're just screwing with our minds? They might just be using Michael's "death" for ratings... Which makes me quite upset  :x
Title: Re: The Official Grammy Thread
Post by: LiteEyeZ22 on February 01, 2010, 07:46:23 PM
Ok so here are my thoughts on the Grammys:

1st and Foremost let us not forget That the Grammy producer (forgot his name), I guess u can say, respected MJ a lot and they were cool. He asked MJ to perform last year but MJ said this year he'll do it. He met with MJ the night before he died and watched Earth Song. Now With that being said I don't think the grammy organizers know about the hoax, just that 1 Guy the producer and I think he used certain pple as tools to help us beLIEvers(get back to that in a min). I think MJ not being on the memorial list was done on purpose, or else that would b pretty messed up. I'm still debating on if mj was live however, could have been. They only showed pictures from the Bad Era (whoa theres a surprise…not!)...moonwalker much the last pic....Usher pointing to the pic that was interesting I guess...now y Earth Song as the Tribute not even showing MJ's clip fully? Imo the producer like mj wants us to focus on the message, or the producer wanted more ratings and totally disrespected our King "(

Now the Recap(and tools) : JMO ok!
Lady Gaga: Well I think she's a powerful entertainer and Never disappoints. Ive noticed Lady Gaga sang speechless, 1 of MJ's songs from invincible is Speechless, in This Is It he sung A portion of Speechless and looked directly into the camera like he's giving us a message and do love us. It could b nothing but idk there's been a lot of coincidences lately dontcha think?

Beyonce: Love Her! So Beyoce we all know loves Michael so y wouldnt they use her? Well anyway her performance started off with a drill……TDRCAU anyone? Another song which conveyed quite meanings and message, one being the obvious Martin Luther King. "In what will go down in history…" ya get the point....MLK is a black figure(elaborate in a min) lets us not forget her lil crotch move lol Just sayin

Now we have the "tribute": to me it homely didn't feel like a tribute but thats just my opinion...but it felt more like a message...ive explained my thoughts earlier above.

Mr. Lionel Richie: a bit to happy just couldn't put my finger on y. Then he mentions a new version "We Are The World"  another song with a powerful message. Lets not forget it comes out this month ;-).

Now my Little Darlings Paris and Prince: They are beautiful kids and very smart. Prince words to me was to the world and was more like a wat? Message like this is what my father wants u guys to see...the destroying of our planet, the environment, the corruption, the lack of LOVE. Little miss Paris I always thouht we had to keep a lil sharp eye on her. Well her speech to me I felt was to US the beLIEvers! "Daddy was suppose to be here, uh, daddy was gonna perform this year but he couldn't perform last year" to me it sounds as thought shes comforting those who believed he was going to come back at the Grammys but plans changed. And my thoughts on y plans chged would b Haiti...I Dont think Michael would want to take the focus off Haiti so maybe that's y plans changed...notice the kids are wearing the support Haiti campaign ban(the red on arm)...then the Tribute to Haiti came on so thas my belief. I'm still trying to figure out y 3T...hmm

Then last we have the memoriam..nas vstate beforw either this was done on purpose by the producer or it was really messed up b.c even tho he had a tribute he was still suppose to b mentioned....lets wait for the excuse.

Now with all that being said my final thought is maybe there just might b a lil hope for a comeback in February b.c
1. L.O.V.E February is the month of Love
2. 2.14-Valentines Day 2+1+4=7
3. February is black history month...Martin Luther King
4. We Are The World Remake
5. Its little Blankets Bday dont u guys think it would b a good present :)

Well these are just my opinions...wat u guys think?

A dark shadowy figure - but I can't believe he would be there right in front of everyone.

Anyone notice how the pictures of Michael showing during they are singing are Black and White, then when the song ends and the look up, the pictures change to colour? Could this be something, I remember someone mentioning this happens with Official calender as well, the pictures turn to colour in February or Something?

That's an interesting thought.  I just assumed it was to not distract from the movie.

Also another thing, which is probably not important, but doesn't Smokey change the lyrics when he comes in...
"I used to glance beyond the stars" to "I used to glance among the stars"? - perhaps this could mean Michael taking a different perspective, instead being at the front, he's now behind the camera? kinda thing?  just a thought

Apparently Ken Ehrlich attented rehearsals that night.

He was also working on a Thriller/Ghost movie for Halloween with Michael and they met quite a bit during the last few months before June 25th.

just listening to something frank said - he said that there was to be a nbc halloween special - does any one know what happened to this - it must have been recorded - as mike should have been in london

maybe it could be something...

In the official Calendar the picture in february was in colour...and what happened in february? We saw the "pea-man" at the WATW video shoot and in the video.....and we saw the face, which looked very familiar to me ;)
