Title: Fire Alarm pulled at UCLA picture proof!!!
Post by: FactFinderMJ on January 20, 2010, 12:23:05 AM
A rumor was said that a fire alarm went off at UCLA when MJ had arrived? Here is a pic that shows a fire truck at UCLA that very day so did they do that to evacuate the building so MJ could make a clean get a way?  Whatcha think guys?

Thanks for this proof!! It's very concidential that in the moment MJ is "dying" in UCLA the fire alarm went off. It's more like someone was trying to hide something happening inside the hospital.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I recall reading there were two buildings & that the one where the fire alarm was pulled was not the one that MJ was allegedly in?

I heard the same thing but am surmising that it could have been part of the diversion or MJ was really making his exit through this evacuated building. Exiting from the same building he entered may have been too apparent.

You may have read that somewhere and it is a good point however I'm related to 2 people that have worked in hospitals in my area and most hospitals if not all have the same protocols they must follow regardless of what area of the building the alarm has tripped. If a campus has 3 buildings which are usually connected by breezeways and the alarm is tripped in building 1, buildings 2 and 3 must follow the same orders given as building 1 until otherwise ordered. The alarm should sound throughout each building. Staff does not know what area or building the alarm has been tripped until security notifies them and gives them  the code to follow! The reason for these protocols are because hospitals use and store high flammable contents such as oxygen..ect..
I'm not saying UCLA runs that way but here I know they do. So it is just something to think about :D

Now if we could only find someone that was in that building that day to tell us what protocols were used then that would help alot!!

Maybe noone is talking because noone ACTUALLY seen anything. Could it be that this is just the story we have been told?  What if hospital staff all have the feeling that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and missed HIM?  What if they too are waiting for stories of that day?

Does somebody know if there are any connected corridors between the two buildings? So yeah, it could have been a DIVERSION for MJ for a Smooth escape through the other building or a tunnel...

Look what I just found:

http://talk.sheknows.com/f1190/bad-day-ucla-yesterday-802407/

We got to UCLA for Holly's appointment the same time as Michael Jackson yesterday. What a madhouse it was! We didn't know who was in the ambulance until we were in the waiting room and everyone seemed to get a text at the same time saying that he had died. Then the fire alarm went off, and we were evacuated onto the roof, down two flights of stairs (with the stroller!) onto the street where we just saw a wall of media people. I've never seen anything like it.

A very interesting follow up at UCLA today...

PLEASE READ: If you have made your way to this website via "Michael Jackson Death Hoax" dot com, please know that the administrator at that website has used this post to support incorrect information. The fire alarm that is discussed below was for the 200 Medical Center Building in the Peter Morton Center. This building is next door to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Hospital where Michael Jackson did in fact die on June 25, 2009. The hospital did not have a fire drill, nor was it ever evacuated during the time that the Jackson family was there. It was later determined that the fire alarm at the 200 building was pulled by a paparazzi to create a distraction so he/she could sneak into the hospital. I have tried to find a contact or an e-mail for the administrator at the Michael Jackson Death Hoax website but conveniently for him or her, one cannot be found. If the administrator reads this, please correct your post and remove your link to this website. If you don't, I will make a formal complaint to Wordpress about your site.

Today I had another follow up appointment with my oncologist at UCLA, and while there, Brett and I got caught in the middle of the Michael Jackson media frenzy regarding his death in the building next to the one we were in. What a sad loss at only age 50.

The day started routine, I arrived a little late for my 12:30 blood draw. Because the results take an hour, Brett and I walked into Westwood to Chili's for lunch. This was a good 3 block walk for me and I'm getting stronger. Apparently, while eating at Chili's, Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, was brought to UCLA Medical Center by ambulance in Cardiac Arrest around 1:00. As we walked back to my 1:30 appointment, Brett and I noticed a helicopter that was hovering the hospital and seemed out of of place since it wasn't landing. Once we got in and into our waiting room for my doctor, we jumped onto WiFi to read in the news what was going on. We couldn't believe we were right there. As we waited, we heard the news of Michael Jackson's death via Twitter. The helicopter sounds grew, and we were curious what was building outside. The nurses weren't really confirming anything, but it was obvious some were in the know.

After waiting almost two hours (my oncologist was fitting me in) we finally got to the exam with my doctor. My rash is healing, and the pain I am feeling and describing is my entire body growing a new layer of skin. She said two more weeks and I should be through the worst of it. She was very pleased with how I was healing, and my White Blood Cell counts, Hemoglobin and Platelets couldn't be more normal - I could donate platelets now if they'd let me! And then as we were about to get to some bigger questions, a fire alarm went off. We had to evacuate the building with the doctors and nurses and stand outside as the media frenzy was growing regarding Michael Jackson. I think a Paparazzi probably pulled the alarm as a distraction. Still, we had to wait for the fire truck and the all clear, within yards of the entrance to the hospital where Michael Jackson was.

In fact, after the little fire alarm, we found out that one of the nurses (the one who takes my vitals) was approached by a young black man as we were waiting for the all clear. He told her his name was Jermaine Jackson, Jr. and he needed help finding the entrance to the hospital, so she escorted him. She was just a few feet away, and we missed it! Once we got the "all clear", we went back in to finish my appointment. At that point, a lot of the nursing staff was confirming that Michael Jackson had indeed passed away. Not sure if we knew ahead of everyone else, but it was still shocking news to say the least. The good news about the rest of my appointment: I am still cancer free, and I no longer need to have blood draws at home! Yay!

Once our appointment was done, it was around 4:30, and Brett and I started to leave, hearing that streets had been closed and we may run into problems. When we got outside, we couldn't believe the change. Seven satellite TV trucks lined up and thousands of people with flowers, signs, etc. We decided that since we were thrust into the middle of it, we may as well get a couple of cell phone photos. It was amazing, it was almost like within an hour, thousands of people were there at the hospital. Here are the two photos I managed to take on my cell phone:

And of course, we had some more drama. As we tried to cross the street to take photos, I tripped over my flip flop and skinned up my arm and leg. It happened right in front of two paramedics and they did nothing. They must have thought I was some Michael Jackson fanatic. Brett was hoping to get interviewed so he could say, "Michael who?" He has such a sense of humor! We went back to oncology where they patched me up, and then we were finally on the way home.

We made it out of the parking the "back way" on Gayley very easily and hit some traffic on the way home. It was a long, strange day. But lots of good news amongst the sad news in Hollywood with Farrah and Michael. I hope they rest in peace.

That's true!  I saw a video just the other day that showed the scene when he was there, and at one point that firetruck was going by the crowd with it's full sirens and lights going.  I thought it was a little odd, and I didn't even put 2 and 2 together.  lol

That would be the perfect distraction in order to allow him to slip out, that's for sure.

I just found another blog post about someone at UCLA and the fire alarm. Weirdly, the post is dated June 24. Now I'll just say, I'm not one who goes crazy when I see something that says June 24 instead of 25.  I'm only saying it because it's obvious on the blog post so you'll notice it anyway. Blogger time and dates on posts can be easily edited. That's all I'm saying about that aspect.  I'm just looking for any accounts of a fire alarm being pulled that day.

Here's the post and the link:
Now...Michael Jackson...it's a sad, sad thing BUT...thank God that Alex's surgery is next Thursday and not today...what a nightmare for the patients. Some jackass pulled the fire alarm...imaging if the fire alarm goes off and your kid is in the middle of heart surgery, or is out of surgery...still on the ventilator...what do you do? Burn would be the answer, I'm assuming. Last time we were there was when Brittney Spear went nuts...paparazzi EVERYWHERE....they used to pop out of the botanical garden path where we would walk to get to the hospital just to see if people were sneaking into see her. Fun!

No, a fire engine doesn't mean there was a fire. But more than one random person blogged about a fire alarm going off that day while they were there at UCLA. That, to me, is proof enough that there was a fire alarm pulled that day. I searched about 75 pages of blog results in Google one night to find the two instances I found of people who blogged about the fire alarm. They were not easy to find. That says a lot, to me.

Do you guys get the feeling we should study a little more closely the smooth criminal from TII? I dont know, everything is really starting to make me think that these are actions of a "smoot criminal". It is probabaly no coincidence Michael chose the PT Barnum story for the new smooth criminal movie he prepared for TII. I dont know but I think it would be worth a closer look and taking into consideration everything we know and suspect at this point. 8-)  :)

I also work for a medical facility here in the USA. We have outpatient clinics and a hospital on site. Here is our fire code instructions (below). It instructs us to not evacuate the building unless directed by the fire department.

I know that when our fire alarms go off we are to close the doors to our units as a precaution. Then we are to wait for further instruction from the overhead paging system. They will say where the danger is located and the protocol that should be followed. We do not use elevators. We stay where we are - we don't wander the halls. If we are instructed to exit the building, we escort patients out the nearest exit, using the stairs.

So, it's possible that they used this as a way to close off a unit or area to keep people from wandering halls...or to keep people in or out of the building. People would also not be using the elevators so this would make it easier for MJ to get on an elevator without someone being on there to recognize him. However, the fire department would need to be aware that this was going to happen.

Title: Code Red/Fire or Explosion

Introduction:

Code Red plans are developed to guide response to emergent situations that may impact the safety of building occupants.  These emergent situations may be a result of fire, smoke, or explosion.

Staff should participate in fire drills and be reviewing the RACE/PASS protocol each time they hear a Code Red Drill announcement via the overhead paging system.

Employee:

In the event of a known or suspected fire or smoke event, staff in the immediate area will:

Initiate the R.A.C.E. protocol:
Relocate persons away from danger.
Activate a fire alarm pull station and phone 111. Provide the operator with:
Your name.
The building, room, and area involved in the incident.
The number of injuries, if any.
A callback number where you can be reached.
Pull stations are located…See attached map of Emergency Department.

Work as a team. It is not necessary that one person do it all.

Contain fire/smoke by closing doors, windows, and other openings.
Extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so by using the P.A.S.S. protocol:
Pull the pin.
Aim at the base of the fire.
Squeeze the handle.
Sweep from side to side.
Fire extinguishers are located…See attached map of Emergency Department.

Respiratory service to shut off oxygen if found necessary.

Never leave an extinguished fire unattended.  Wait until Security or Facility Operations arrives to relieve you.  Always report the fire, even if it has been extinguished.

Staff located away from the zone of incident will:

Be observant for signs of smoke or fire.
Stay alert for additional announcements via overhead page.
Remain calm and reassure patients.
Be prepared to relocate to a safe zone of necessary.  Employees can initiate a relocation.

Do not evacuate the building unless directed to do so by the Fire Department or Administration.  Follow your department specific evacuation plan.

If you have elevators in your work area, post a staff member by them to prevent unauthorized patient or visitor, and staff use during an incident. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR UNLESS AUTHORIZED TO DO SO BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT!

If you can detect a “hot” or “electrical” or “smoke” smell, staff should immediately contact Security or Facilities Operations to determine the source, or activate the fire alarm pull station and call 111 to report the incident.
