Originally researched and laid out by SonneySwimmer (SN may not be quite right) from the OLD mjhd. I don't know what happened to her. She was a member from Australia. She did quite a bit of follow up research on P.T. Barnum links to this entire case, again, taking the ball I ran with handed to me by Shikster and delving deeper into the more obscure.

So, credit goes to Shikster, who handed the idea off to me, and I looked into the Barnum hoaxes, Fiji Mermaid, Brickman, Jenny Lind, Cardiff Giant court case, and Wild Man exhibit, (which led to the brilliant Cardiff Giant Joe vs Joseph theory introduced to us by Mo and Souza), and then SonneySwimmer applied it to the deathbed photo.

Fiji water=Fiji mermaid. Also Barnum's last words were to request a drink of water.

Doll=Jenny Lind China doll.

The orange juice pertains to some reference re: Barnum's influence to import orange groves originally to Florida, not sure on the original reference.

Toothpaste: The brand originally utilized Barnum style advertising it's onset.

I honestly don't remember the rest of the things.

In our latest blog we used the 'death bed' pic also.  http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/blog.php (http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/blog.php)

The tourniquet, the story that he was “riddled with needle marks” and the story that he was a druggie, makes us think he didn’t get the fluoride poisoning from toothpaste. As TMZ is our leading brickman, we remembered Harvey talk for days about mouth water in the live streams. Mouth water is also known as Sodium Fluoride or Natrium Fluoride (NaF) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_fluoride (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_fluoride)). While surfing our virtual bible google we bumbed into an article about Sodium Fluoride, or as Dr. Richard Murray calls it, the obedience drug…: http://presselibreinternationale.com/fl ... e_drug.pdf (http://presselibreinternationale.com/fluor/_PDF/sodium_fluoride_obedience_drug.pdf)

A quote from the article:
“During wartime, both the Germans and Russians added sodium fluoride to the water of prisoners of war. Were they interested in preventing tooth decay? According to the documentation of the Australian Ian E. Stephen (1987), both Germans and Russians used fluoridation because they had discovered that it made their prisoners “stupid and docile” (Well Mind Association22).

This “human” experiment was not original. Apparently, the obedience drug-like effect was borrowed from animal studies that showed that breeders of intractable bulls had routinely used sodium fluoride to successfully tranquilize bulls for easier handling.”

  • Fiji Water: “It turns out that Fiji Water contains significantly more fluoride than any other popular brand. Where there is naturally occurring fluoride found in water ..” Source: http://www.motherjones.com/politics/200 ... tle?page=2 (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2009/09/fiji-spin-bottle?page=2).
  • Incontinence pad: Frequent urination & frequent recurrent urinary tract diseases
  • Orange juice: To avoid fluoride poisoning: take adequate amounts of vitamin B6 and C.
  • Toothpaste: one of the most commonly known products that contains fluoride.
  • Glasses case: The problems with the eyes that can be caused by fluoride poisoning.
  • Air pump: Difficulties breathing
  • Tourniquet: This made us think of something else, which we will now explain…

I must confess that I don't really get what this is all about, but what did strike me when I read the latest post: There were reports after the 1993 allegations that Evan Chandler r.i.p. (who was a dentist) gave Jordan an obedience drug or a kind of drug to manipulate his memory. Does anyone else here remember that story? Was it that famous GQ-report that disclosed this?

Okay I googled and found the article: http://www.buttonmonkey.com/misc/maryfischer.html (http://www.buttonmonkey.com/misc/maryfischer.html)

Quote
In the presence of Chandler and Mark Torbiner, a dental anesthesiologist, the boy was administered the controversial drug sodium Amytal—which some mistakenly believe is a truth serum. And it was after this session that the boy first made his charges against Jackson. A newsman at KCBS-TV, in L.A., reported on May 3 of this year that Chandler had used the drug on his son, but the dentist claimed he did so only to pull his son’s tooth and that while under the drug’s influence, the boy came out with allegations. Asked for this article about his use of the drug on the boy, Torbiner replied: “If I used it, it was for dental purposes.”
Given the facts about sodium Amytal and a recent landmark case that involved the drug, the boy’s allegations, say several medical experts, must be viewed as unreliable, if not highly questionable.

“It’s a psychiatric medication that cannot be relied on to produce fact,” says Dr. Resnick, the Cleveland psychiatrist. “People are very suggestible under it. People will say things under sodium Amytal that are blatantly untrue.” Sodium Amytal is a barbiturate, an invasive drug that puts people in a hypnotic state when it’s injected intravenously. Primarily administered for the treatment of amnesia, it first came into use during World War II, on soldiers traumatized—some into catatonic states—by the horrors of war. Scientific studies done in 1952 debunked the drug as a truth serum and instead demonstrated its risks: False memories can be easily implanted in those under its influence. “It is quite possible to implant an idea through the mere asking of a question,” says Resnick. But its effects are apparently even more insidious: “The idea can become their memory, and studies have shown that even when you tell them the truth, they will swear on a stack of Bibles that it happened,” says Resnick.
