Of course the charge would be manslaughter...it's easier to prove. The only murder charge they could have tried is 2nd Degree, but they'd have to prove malice with that charge as far as I know. And it's just a harder charge to prove.

But what I find interesting is that no credible news source has posted this information. Original source, from what I can gather, is the Daily Beast. I can't find ANY credible news source posting this same information.

None of this means much to me though...unless/until it actually happens.

Oh, and for varying things I've read, the typical sentence for manslaughter is 2-4 years.

In 2008 a registered nurse was sentenced to first degree murder for administering propofol. The cause of death was found to be propofol toxicity; the coroner ruled the death as homicide. I am trying to get hold of the detail of the case so we can compare it to Michaels; this article gives some info about the case but not in great detail. I posted this on the old MJHD forum but I think it needs to be revisited.

Let's hope they can figure out how to hoax this one past the media.  I mean to figure out a way to drop all charges since it is my belief there was no death of anyone :D ...........

"The Daily Beast" ?????????

I do not trust anything that quotes "sources" and not by names...  most of that turns out to be codswallop.
