I found this article:

53rd GRAMMY Awards Slated For Feb. 13, 2011
Music's Biggest Night will air live from Staples Center on CBS
April 13, 2010 -- 2:00 am

The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place in Los Angeles at Staples Center on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, and will air live on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). As a result of last year's earlier show and Awards process dates, this year the eligibility dates for the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards are Sept. 1, 2009, through Sept. 30, 2010. (This year will mark a 13-month eligibility period.) The date for the GRAMMY nominations announcement — which showcases GRAMMY Award finalists, the year's best and brightest in music as voted on by The Recording Academy's membership of music professionals — will be announced shortly.

"The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards was a dynamic, memorable evening, and it delivered our highest ratings since 2004 and the biggest year-over-year increase in more than 20 years," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy. "We have every intention of keeping that momentum going with our 53rd show, and once again we are thrilled to be bringing the excellence and excitement of our GRAMMY Week events and charitable initiatives to the city of Los Angeles. We also look forward to working on another outstanding GRAMMY telecast with our partners and good friends at CBS and Staples Center."

"The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will once again be event television with exciting and memorable performances that will entertain and engage our audience," said Jack Sussman, executive vice president, specials, music and live events, CBS. "We look forward to working with our partners at The Recording Academy to make Music's Biggest Night an event that can't be missed."

GRAMMY Week — a weeklong series of cultural events culminating in Music's Biggest Night — will again feature celebrations of music, fashion, arts education, and philanthropy, including the Salute To series, GRAMMY Style Studio, GRAMMY Career Day, Clive Davis and The Recording Academy's Pre-GRAMMY Gala, the annual MusiCares Person of the Year tribute, the GRAMMY Foundation's Music Preservation Project, the Entertainment Law Initiative luncheon, a Producers & Engineers Wing event, and GRAMMY Museum programs, among others.

Blessings.

Thanks for looking that up MJonmind!  It never occurred to me to look on wiki.  Seeing that they have been held at the Staples Center for the last decade (minus 2003 when they were in NYC), I don't see any connection to the hoax in this at all.

They weren't?

Well, AEG owns the Staples Center and has a stake in the Grammies.  Also, since we had the kids' speeches last year, and the coincidence that it is held on Prince's birthday...there still might be a connection.  But who knows at this point. HEck, I see connection to the hoax in the way my husband folds the laundry these days.

BTw- just saw the announcement on TV for the Grammies.  It had lots of interesting references in there and a picture of a drawing of a boy and girl holding hands.  So, of course, I thought of Hold My Hand.  It also said something about "turning demons into monsters."  I have to hear it again.  Hope it will be on youtube soon- then I will post.

That would be a complete miracle if I ever saw my husband fold laundry! :o
I agree that we're going to see things happen with the Grammies. There's just too many connections to MJ. It's an adventure!! Paris mentioned "last year", "this year", but there's always NEXT year which is now!

Is everyone still remembering to vote?  I've been watching and voting and it seems that - while Michael is still #1 (of course) - the voters for Adam Lambert are starting to post some larger numbers.  So, don't forget to vote for MJ!

Great - me too.  Michael is stil ahead by 2,382 votes right now but Ive been notincing that Adam Lambert's votes are increasing by several hundreds so we have to make sure we keep voting.  As the Grammy broadcast approaches I'm sure they'll step up the voting too.

Still voting and have been for weeks, lost count how many times I've voted!  Thank goodness we can vote as many times as we like, MJ should be WAY further ahead than this other guy I've heard of but never heard sing! Where are the millions of MJ fans?  If they all voted even just twice each he'd be uncatchable. He has to win this.  Travesty if he doesn't.

My suggestion is that everyone who voted on the link provided, which is still going btw
Go and email the GRAMMYS with their complaint about your time being wasted, copyright images of the Grammys being used by the website and using fans to boost whatever it is they are trying to get numbers for.
Over 1million people have voted on that site....wonder how many could have gone to the actual Grammy's to be counted.

People have been voting 100's of times over weeks for nothing.

Please use this form and be polite but firm in your communication with them.
http://www.grammy.com/Contact

Y'all might want to contact twitter and question them on why #GrammyForMJ which has filled up my feed for 3days almost solidly did not trend once...but Adam,Bieber and every other celebrity going did.

So annoyed at the time wasted and it was SO misleading, from the comments on the link plenty of people thought they were voting for an actual winner not a virtual one.  Still hope MJ wins though its more of a fans vs fans thing really.  MJ might not have put great importance on awards (despite always being humble and grateful when receiving them) and had so many anyway but he deserved this one.  We'll know better next time guys!

Thanks Sind - I am so disappointed that this bogus site was not only taking people's votes but it resembles the real site so close and doesn't make it clear that this is not the official voting site. Grrrr...

I sent a complaint to the Grammy's. It may not do any good for the outcome this year but if enough of us complain maybe they will do something to change this next time. I agree - I wonder how this could have been different had people known the correct site to vote on.

I don't want to take anything away from Bruno Mars but I just don't believe he would have received more votes than Michael had Michael's supporters known the correct site to vote on.

Also - that video of Michael performing in 1988....I could watch that all day long. I remember watching it on TV and several times the past couple of years. Incredible performer.

Blessings to everyone's evening.

Sorry guys...
It doesn't matter who we vote for to win a Grammy. These polls are just symbolic, we don't decide the winners of the Grammy Awards.

Grammy Award
Record companies and individuals may submit recordings to be nominated. The entries are entered online and then a physical copy of the product must be sent to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Once a work is entered, reviewing sessions are held by over 150 experts from the recording industry. This is done only to determine whether or not a work is eligible or entered into the proper category for official nomination.

The resulting list is circulated to all NARAS members, each of whom may vote to nominate in the general field (Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist) and in no more than nine out of 30 other fields on their ballots. The five recordings that earn the most votes in each category become the nominees. There may be more than five nominees if there is a tie in the nomination process.

NARAS members receive no nominated recordings.

After nominees have been determined, final voting ballots are sent to Recording Academy members. They may then vote in the general fields and in no more than eight of the 30 fields. NARAS members are encouraged, but not required, to vote only in their fields of expertise. Ballots are tabulated secretly by the major independent accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Following the tabulation of votes the winners are announced at the Grammy Awards. The recording with the most votes in a category wins and it is possible to have a tie. Winners are presented with the Grammy Award and those who do not win are given a medal for their nomination.

In both voting rounds, Academy members are to vote based upon quality alone. They are not supposed to be influenced by sales, chart performance, personal friendships, regional preferences or company loyalty. The acceptance of gifts is prohibited. Members are urged to vote in a manner that preserves the integrity of the academy.

The eligibility period for the 2011 Grammy Awards is September 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.

Once again, no Michael in the Memoriam.  8-)  Phew!  The one clue of the evening.  The best part of the whole thing was the Michael commercial.  Other than that, I would say snoozefest of the year award.  Except of course for Mick.  How old is he?  And I got to give it to Bieber, he's quite good.  Plus, he recognized Michael at the AMA awards when he said, " “I want to thank Michael Jackson because without Michael Jackson, none of us would be here.” Good man!

This is the public vote result on Faxo (which is not official) - just to keep it for the records:

To note: also this poll was open for manipulation as multi-vote was feasible and the poll was closed during the last 7 minutes.

Let's take this with us:
despite Michael is not visible since a long time, he made it in the public opinion.  :D

It's a big pink illusion bubble of "am I beautiful tonight?"

I saw a few MJ connections at the very beginning of the show....

1) Greg Phillinganes was the musical director of the opening number, a tribute to Aretha Franklin....Greg was in MJ's band for years....as far back as the Bad Tour, I believe...the number also featured a smokin' hot (vocally and visually)...

2) Jennifer Hudson, who was prominently featured during the Memorial, dressed in white, singing lead on "Will You Be There"....did you notice her costume tonight? The top had a very MJ-esque style of military eppelets...and then there was the...

3) Brick wall in the "2011 Grammy Awards" screen shot that was shown during commercial breaks that looked like it was straight of the cover of "Off the Wall"...

4) Also noticed that at the end of E!'s coverage of the Red Carpet, Ryan Seacrest said he was "thirsty" and immediately, someone handed him a Coke, which he started to drink and made no effort to hide....it would have made more sense for someone to hand him a bottle of water, I would think....it could have just been product placement, I guess, bought and paid for by Coke, but still....

I'm sad that MJ didn't win a Grammy tonight, even though I didn't understand how "This Is It" even qualified....don't get me wrong...I am thrilled that MJ was acknowledged with a nom even if he didn't win....but the man has been "dead" since mid 2009....it is now 2011....did that seem odd to anyone but me? But if MJ HAD won, I wonder who was there to accept the award?

I was unable to sit down and view the entire show while it was being shown, but it is now on my DVR....I hope to find time to watch it all in its entirety to see if there are any other little clues to be found....but certainly, there was nothing very overt happening as far as MJ is concerned...far less than I expected....

Also wanted to say Happy Birthday to Prince Jackson...is he 14 now? Hard to believe he's a teenager....will Paris be 12 or 13 in April? I'm drawing a blank on both of these kids' ages!

Happy Valentine's Day to all here! Let's celebrate a day devoted to L.O.V.E!

Love you more, Mike!

But Bruno Mars is much better than Adam Lambert.
I like the music of Bruno, his style and his gentle voice.
Of course, nothing compares to Michael, but ... ok .... I'm glad he won!

Gosh- that was an overall snore fest!

The highlight for me was also the Micheal Experience commercial.

Actually, I was suprised as I thought Usher and Bieber were really good.
What IS up with Christina falling this time?  Jennifer Hudson looked and sounded amazing!

Eminem sporting his pyramid necklace.   :|

Will I Am looked so great- from the red gloves to the armband- I LOVE that man! Which reminds me, I meant to tweet him...

Wonder what will happen next year, when "Michael" is eligible to be nominated. It was released after the dealine this year, which is why  TII was nominated (it was released after last year's deadline).

I had never heard of this group before until I watched them on the Grammy's. I like this song alot. I watched some of the Grammy's then I fell asleep. I did DVR it so I will watch later. I don't understand why many of you thought this was a snooz fest. What exactly were you expecting? Not everything will be up to everyone's standards. ;)

TMZ said that Christina Aguilera flubbed again by falling during the Grammy. And they talked about this other "fall" of hers.  (She had already made a mistake singing at the Superbowl.) So what's up with all that?

I think it is media making a mountain out of a molehill.  It's "breaking news" !!

If you watch the video at this link you see that Christina turns a little toward Jennifer Hudson, her knees seem to buckle and she goes about halfway down but then comes back up on her own -  and by the time the camera is back close up to the group on stage, she is back on her feet.

Hello hesouttamylife!!!!

I like Bruno Mars also.I've always wondering who is this man ,everytime a heard him play on radio or enywere else.I don't know if people here know but Bruno Mars was a impersonator of both Elvis and Michael ,lol.
Here are some info about him:

After a string of behind-the-scene jobs -- everything from writing songs for Brandy to impersonating Elvis -- singer/songwriter/producer Bruno Mars put his name on top of the charts in 2010 by collaborating with rapper B.o.B for the single “Nothin’ on You.” Born Peter Hernandez in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mars’ kicked off his career at the age of four fronting his uncle’s band as Oahu's youngest Elvis impersonator. Ten years later, he was impersonating the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, with the Legends in Concert show. After graduation, his uncle convinced him to move to the mainland U.S. and follow of his dream of becoming a singer.

Ok maybe alot of people will say what we should care about this Bruno man???
Let's rememeber what Michael said in This is it ????
He said to Orianty that is her moment to shine, yes or no??? So this young men is talented and Iknow Michael is not selfish man,and he always said that is place for everyone in music bussiness.
We all know Michael is and always will be the best so don't worry,it doesen't matter the trophy and the gold. MICHAEL IS SIMPLY THE BEST,for sure he is the winner  :D

LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

You know I have a thought about the falls.
On the Muse video that Im_convincedmjalive just posted, there are 3 "Bank" buildings that hang above him, while he sings, "They will not destroy us, they will not be victorious", and then they all fall down and crumble.
Goes with CA falling, perhaps on purpose. Banks goes with Illuminati powers that be. Perhaps there is an underlying theme running through that we need to be looking at, maybe examine all the lyrics as a unit for a secret theme, that perhaps even MJ is involved in.
Maybe that's why MJ is not even mentioned, they're falling at his feet.

We don't believe in coincidences remember!

Anyways I enjoyed the almost children's theme in this one, better than Gaga's raw stuff.

I had never heard of this British band, Muse before seeing them on the Grammy's last night.....however, about one minute into their song, once I realized the content of the lyric, I knew at once that this was an anti-Illuminati/NWO song and the amazing video backdrop behind the band cemented the idea...it was the images of Queen Elizabeth that caught my eye the most....chilling stuff....it was very powerful.....then I checked back into the show later only to see Rhianna, who has evidently completely sold her soul to the Music Industry Devil....writhing around on stage with Drake.....debasing herself as he sings the nasty lyrics to her and he, of course, is FULLY CLOTHED.....I mean, I realize that's how it is in our society....women's bodies are paraded around for the enjoyment of men everywhere you turn....but the juxtaposition of all of it really struck me....I fear for this girl....I really do!

Also...a thought about Xtina....what is going on? Yes, apparently she did flub her lyrics a bit on the Super Bowl and yes, perhaps she lost her footing a bit at the Grammy's last night....but I feel a schemdia backlash brewing under it all? Or am I just being paranoid here? I wonder what she could have done that would warrant this? Any thoughts?

The reason MJ is not in the grammy memorium is because its for all those who past away in 2010, they don't just keep putting peoples names on the list year after year. And I would say that Peter Lopez was among the people in the memorium because he was a music attorney so to them he was obviously important enough to make the cut. The list is never just about singers who past but those involved in the music industry in any way.

-First thing I noticed was Bruno Mars' "Grenade" performance which was done in black and white.. and was slower than the usual song. (Reminded me of how Michael did The Way You Make Me Feel sometimes)... But the thing that caught my eye was how he began the song. I actually thought he was about to sing the J5 Song "Who's Loving You" because in the beginning of that Michael talks about the girl, etc. etc. And Bruno did the same. He also did quite a few Michael moves in this performance too, and I don't think Bruno is a usual dancer.

-Second thing I noticed were the outfits. Each band member of the English band "Muse" wore a sequined jacket. One of them wore a black one that looked almost exactly like the one Michael wore in his Billie Jean performance. Justin Bieber also wore an all leather outfit that resembled Michael Jackson's from his "Bad" music video. Not to mention all the Michael Jackson style dancing in that as well.

Nothing about Lady Gaga is Original at all. She used music from:

 Ace of Base;

Lady Gaga vs. Ace Of Base
One of Gaga’s latest singles “Alejandro” bears a striking resemblance to the 90′s Ace of Base hit “Don’t Turn Around”.

Madonna;
Madonna vs. Lady Gaga -- It's On!
If you noticed a similarity between Lady Gaga's brand new song, "Born This Way," and Madonna's classic track, "Express Yourself," you're not the only one -- seems the Material Girl has noticed it too!

And a young woman, Lina Morgana, whom Gaga was friends with, who later committed suicide.
Lady Gaga -- Proof She Stole From Dead Friend?
The mother of Lady Gaga's deceased friend is taking the singer to task because she feels Gaga stole her daughter's style -- and she's put together a video to try to prove her case. TMZ has obtained the video made by Lina Morgana's mother made to show the similarities between the two singers. The video is set to a song Lina recorded before she committed suicide in 2008. Lina and Gaga were friends before Gaga made it big, according to Lina's mom, Yana -- who claims the two worked together back in 2007.

Salvador Dali
Salvador Domènec Felip Jacint Dalí i Domènech, Marquis of Dalí de Púbol (May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989), commonly known as Salvador Dalí, was a prominent Spanish surrealist painter born in Figueres.

Dalí was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. His best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in 1931. Dalí's expansive artistic repertoire includes film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media.

Dalí attributed his "love of everything that is gilded and excessive, my passion for luxury and my love of oriental clothes" to a self-styled "Arab lineage," claiming that his ancestors were descended from the Moors.

Dalí was highly imaginative, and also had an affinity for partaking in unusual and grandiose behavior. His eccentric manner and attention-grabbing public actions sometimes drew more attention than his artwork to the dismay of those who held his work in high esteem and to the irritation of his critics

The Egg
The egg is another common Dalíesque image. He connects the egg to the prenatal and intrauterine, thus using it to symbolize hope and love; it appears in The Great Masturbator and The Metamorphosis of Narcissus, which symbolized death and petrification. Various animals appear throughout his work as well: ants point to death, decay, and immense sexual desire; the snail is connected to the human head; and locusts are a symbol of waste and fear.

The Metamorphosis of Narcissus
According to Greek mythology, Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection in a pool. Unable to embrace the watery image, he pined away, and the gods immortalized him as a flower.b] The painting shows Narcissus sitting in a pool, gazing down. Not far away there is a decaying stone figure which corresponds closely to him but is perceived quite differently; as a hand holding up a bulb or egg from which a Narcissus is growing. The egg has been used as a symbol for sexuality in other paintings by Dali. In the background, a group of naked figures can be seen, while a third Narcissus like figure appears on the horizon. A long poem was written by Dalí to accompany the painting.

Yes I also thought the rock band Muse was a stand out performance.  My sister and I were discussing the lyrics to the song.  They were obviously referring to the government, and the banks controlling everything.  The banks were shown crumbling down on the screen.  They are speaking about not letting them take control of us. The seguin jackets really caught my attention as well.  Of course Will I Am still wearing the arm band like MJ on his sleeve.  I just want to say that I was concerned about Eminem last night.  When he accepted his award he did not appear well to me.  His eyes were all bugged out and twitching.  I really hope he remains sober and is okay.  Rhinna was also a little disturbing to me as well.  Her performance with Drake showing all her assets was not even necessary.  Too much. :!:
