Jermaine Jackson -- Still Abroad
19 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

Jermaine Jackson -- who hasn't been spotted stateside since that whole Africa/passport/child support mess -- popped up in Cannes last night to attend the NRJ Music Awards.

For a guy who feels he should only pay $215 a month in child support, he sure travels a lot.

He has though!he was seen driving round LA near the new Jackson condo last week in not only a new BMW but a new white SUV.
He couldnt get from Africa to Europe when the feds in the US have him on child support charges on an invalid passport without coming back to the US first. He couldn't go anywhere!!!
He couldnt get from Africa back to the US,pay up,apply for a new passport/visa,get it back and fly to Europe in a week...
Anyone seen him in court paying up?nope
Anyone seen pics of him at any airport before or after prelim?nope
He also couldn't leave the US to go Africa on an out of date passport to start with so someone seriously needs to 'fess up to the BS.

Thanks, Sind. Total fiction, I believe. Now, to figure out if there is a reason for the lie to be told or if it's just to sell a story.

PS - I don't think he looks lighter. I think it's just the lighting or maybe the new, longer hair. IDK :)

Not only travel but his clothing looks expensive too.

Also - Sony Music releases the CDs and DVDs associated with the NRJ music awards...coincidence then that Jermaine decided to go to these awards (supposedly)?

I just googled Sony and NRJ music awards, there's a bunch of links and this is what's listed under external links on NRJ's wiki site : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NRJ_Music_Award (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NRJ_Music_Award)

Record labels
Major: EMI · Sony Music Entertainment · Universal Music Group · Warner Music Group

Jermaine Jackson
Born date : 1/11/55
Country : United States

News rumors and informations about Jermaine Jackson
EXCLUSIVE: Jermaine Jackson -- Back In The United States of America

Jermaine Jackson, the older brother of the late King of Pop, has returned to the United States despite owing a fortune in back support that reportedly left him stranded in Africa.

An eyewitness spotted Jermaine, 56, not far from his home in a gated community in Calabasas, California, on Friday afternoon.

"He was driving a white Range Rover and had a blonde in the front seat next to him," the source said.

"He was laughing and looked like he didn't have a care in the world."

Jermaine was reportedly stuck in Quagadougou, Burkina Faso, Africa. His passport had allegedly expired during the trip and when he went to renew it, it was discovered that he was arrears on his child support.

As of last month, he reportedly owed his baby mama Alejandra $91,921.

Under California law, when someone owes more than $2,500 a month in child support, “holding their passport until he or she brings their account current is how the Department of Child Support Services gets deadbeats to pay their debt”, according to divorce specialist David P. Schwarz.

It’s unclear if Jermaine made good on his account.

According to these Jermaine was at court on Day 5 10.1.11

Now,reports of him being 'stuck' in Africa started on/around January 8/9th as seen below

Jermaine Jackson will not be able to get out of Africa any time soon because his passport has expired and current legal woes means he may not be able to get a new one.

According to TMZ, the 56-year-old went into arrears almost from the start and now owes Alejandra Oaziaza, $91,921

According to a report on TMZ.com, Jermaine is currently in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Which would mean he was in stranded in Africa the day before he was in court and these pictures were taken of him.
Day 5 of prelim was Monday January 10th
Reports of him just getting back to the US and driving around LA this week are BS

This was put up on the 10th an-the actual DAY of day 5 prelim. He was in Africa but in LA at the same time....absolutley amazing!!

This was posted 14/1/11 and puts him down as only just getting back to the US.
So,he was in Africa, flew home in a day, went to court, went back to Africa, got stuck again and only just got home..?

I think the questions should be,when was Jermaine Jackson in Africa, was he ever in Africa to start with and if not...what's with the reports and drama over his passport and being detained if he never left LA-what's the cover story in aid of?

oh and this one
Q:If he never left LA-which he couldn't do without a valid passport as we've discussed then where did this story of Africa come from?
A:
Quote
According to TMZ.com

He got sent back to the US,paid up,saw his kids, apologised, filled forms in,got a new passport processed, and headed to Cannes in less than a week?

Yes, you are right.

The picture below is NOT in LA.

Look at the trees in the background.  LA has palm trees.  London has Oak trees and similar.  These trees look like they are in the UK to me.

Also the black metal railings on the building are London.  As are the black lamposts.

Jermaine and Halima are wrapped up in coats and boots...  again indicating London and not sunny LA.

SO..  if Jermaine is still abroad, how did he get into France with an old passport?????

He is only paying 215$ a month? wow that is peanuts. With all the money he has he cannot pay for his son? My ex husband pays me 745$ a month, for my kids and he does not make half of the money  of Jermaine Jackson does. But yet he has money to travel from Africa to Cannes. I hope he renewed his passport

I doubt he travelled anywhere on the first place.

He should take economical responsability for his kids and also Randy should do the same. As far as I know, Michael did that over the years and the mom of the kids looks like is not willing to work. Having babies with a star is a profession, my gosh.

Ive thought about Randy too...   but it seems he must be paying his share of child support to his kids as i have never heard him being in trouble with the CSA>  it seems to be just a Jermaine trait.   Ive read that book by one of Jermaines ex's that was written in the early 90's and she said back then that Jermaine was a dead beat womaniser who didnt pay for his responsibilities.
Jermaine has been out of the country for a long time.  So he hasnt paid for them and neither has he been there in person to see them and be a father.   :?

I feel for Halima.  I fear it might end in tears for her and she seems like a nice lady.

I was not awared of Jermaine´s sex appeal....
In that case, when talking about Jermine´s kids I assume that are the ones we all know and not new baby mamas coming out with claims of child support.

Anyway, makes no sense really that Jermaine would not take responsability for such little amounts and if he has no money, something I doubt, he must find it to fulfill his responsabilities and why he won´t is something I don´t understand. All this sounds weird, tabloid gossip BS sells better, and nowthat Michael is gone, looks like the attention is on his family instead.

The time is important, you can't get a passport in a week when you are in trouble with the authorities,in another country,in thousands of $ worth of debt and whatever else is going on.
They rush them through for people who get stuck and it isn't their fault, lose their passport via theft/fire etc and very few other reasons.
Unless he went back to the US,paid in FULL what he owes for child support and cleared his name, i'm pretty sure no embassy are going to rush anything.

I personally don't believe he ever went to Africa.
The story was started by TMZ,that should say it all

I take all of this with a huge pinch of salt. Who's to say the 'eyewitness' who supposedly saw Jermaine back in the US, didn't mistake Jackie for him, like the reporters did on the first day of the prelim hearing?

Quite honestly I'm not interested in Jermaine and his private life - it's none of my business and I'm getting tired of this garbage from TMZ.
