Is it he, or it isn't he ?
From my point of view, no, he's not.
-
I love this song! It sticks to the head! Its him all the way, IMO :D
-
Nope, doesn't sound like MJ at all, and where is 50cent? Listen to this then a real Michael Jackson track, voices sound very different.
-
This song is beautiful and is Michael 100% as in all other! :)
What is the question? I hear Michael perfectly here ... his voice is unmistakable.
But where's 50 Cent?? :?:
-
I agree - I love this song too.
-
I just read and read the lyrics and...my godness.. 50 cents' part kept me not bliking and the text itself is very straight in your face. Even if Michael's voice for the first time doesn't sound like Michael for me and I just CAN'T understand how is this possible and why
[Michael Jackson]
You can look at them coming out the walls
You can look at them climbing out the bushes
You can find them when the letter’s bout to fall
He be waiting with his camera on focus
Everywhere you seem to turn
there’s a monster
When you look up in the air there’s a monster
Paparazzi got you scared like a monster, monster, monster
(Too bad)
Oh oh Hollywood it’s got you jumping like you should
(Too bad)
It’s got you bouncing off the wall
It’s got you drunk enough to fall
(Too bad)
Oh oh Hollywood just look in the mirror
And tell me you like
Don’t you, don’t you like it
Monster
He’s a monster
He’s an animal
Monster (yea-eah)
He’s a monster
He’s an animal
He’s coming at ya
Coming at ya rather too fast
Mama say mama got you in a zig zag
And you’re running
And you’re running just to escape it
But they are gunning for the money
So they fake it
Everywhere you seem to turn
there’s a monster
When you look up in the air there’s a monster
When you see them in the street
that’s a monster, monster, monster
(Too bad)
Oh oh Hollywood it’s got you jumping like you should
It’s got you bouncing off the wall
It’s got you drunk enough to fall
(Too bad)
Oh oh Hollywood just look in the mirror
And tell me you like what you see
Monster
(he’s like an animal)
He’s a monster
(just like an animal)
He’s an animal
(and he’s moving in the air)
Monster
He’s a monster
He’s an animal
(everybody wanna be a star)
Why are they never satisfied with and all you give, yeh, yeh, yeh, yeah
You gave them your all
They’re watching you fall
And they eat your soul like a vegetable
[50 Cent]
Catch me in a bad mood, flippin’ you’ll take a whippin’
animal, hannibal, cannibal addition
tears appear, yeah, blurring your vision
fear in the air, screaming, your blood drippin’
shiver a second, now, now, now, now what is it
funeral’s, cemetaries, don’t worry it’s time to visit
broke bones, tombstones, how do you think I’m kidding
its home, sweet home, the land of the forbidden
all hell, run tell, the King has risen
2010 Thriller, there’s nothing iller, it’s killer
there vision, the missin’ the pack, this is that,
this the bomb, ring the alarm
MJ number 1, it’s goes on and on
its goes on and on
we get to crippin’, its running in the early morn’
keep on dreaming there’s nowhere to run
you can drive but you done
I can feel it in the air, here the monster come.
[Michael Jackson]
Too bad, oh oh Hollywood it’s got you jumping like you should
It’s got you bouncing off the wall
It’s got you drunk enough to fall
(Too bad)
Oh oh Hollywood just making it clearer
And tell me you like
Don’t you don’t you like it
Monster
(she wanna be a star)
He’s a monster
(say you wanna go far)
He’s an animal
(Why do you keep stalking me)
Monster
(what you do to me)
He’s a monster
(why did you take, why did you fake it)
He’s an animal
(yee-aah, why are stalking me)
Monster
(why are you haunting me)
He’s a monster
(why are you stalking me)
He’s an animal
(why did you do it, why did you, why are you stalking me)
Monster
(why are you haunting me)
He’s a monster
(why are you haunting me)
He’s an animal
(Why did you, why did you)
He’s dragging you down like a monster
he’s keeping you down like a monster
He’s dragging you down like a monster
he’s keeping you down like a monster
-
That is not MJ
-
Oh my lord, 50 cents' part is straight in your face. Jesus.... That is something.
The whole song reminds me of "Threatened" message
Tonight’s story is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction
A monster had arrived in the village
The major ingredient of any recipe for fear is the unknown
And this person or thing is soon to be met
He knows every thought, he can feel every emotion
Oh yes, I did forget something didn’t I? I forgot to introduce you to the monster.
You’re fearing me, ‘cause you know I’m a beast
Watching you when you sleep, when you’re in bed
I’m underneath
You’re trapped in halls, and my face is the walls
I’m the floor when you fall, and when you scream it’s ‘cause of me
I’m the living dead, the dark thoughts in your head
I heard just what you said
That’s why you’ve got to be threatened by me
-
I think it's MJ but not sure if I like the song :(
Also, played it 2x and didn't hear 50cent - did you guys hear his part on the above video here?
-
I do love this song and cannot get it out of my head. 50 Cent is great in his part...really adds to the mix. The booklet songs don't capture the lyrics he is rapping, so I found them elsewhere and really think he is giving us a clue. What do you think? I highlighted the words that caught my attention.
[50 Cent]
Catch me in a bad mood, flippin' you'll take a whippin'
Animal, Hannibal, cannibal addition
Tears appear, yeah, blurring your vision
Fear in the air, screaming, your blood drippin'
Shiver a second, now, now, now, now what is it
Funeral's, cemeteries, don't worry it's time to visit
Broke bones, tombstones, how do you think I'm kidding
Its home, sweet home, the land of the forbidden
All hell, run tell, the King has risen
2010 Thriller, there's nothing iller, it's killer
There vision, the missin' the pack, this is that,
This the bomb, ring the alarm
MJ number 1, it's goes on and on
Its goes on and on 8-) We get to crippin', its running in the early morn'
Keep on dreaming there's nowhere to run
You can drive but you done
I can feel it in the air, hear the monster come.

OMG I've had this song Monster re-playing under phones for the past 30 minutes and it is my favorite off of the entire CD. It's Michael all the way, no doubts at all.
"Best of Joy", however makes me wonder UM .......what is going on with this song...not into it. It's just strange.
-
I think it's digitally altered. Like his voice has been sped up, chipmunk-style (although not as extreme).
-
lol it's not even remotely 'him'
-
this is him.. bringing controversy
-
I think the most logical thing is that it IS him but has been purposely manipulated (by Mike himself and Teddy Riley) to create controversy. Teddy himself even made a point to say that MJ LIVES (not LIVED ;) ) for controversy. 2 + 2= 4. Seems pretty simple to me.
I think those 3 tracks are significant too.. they are the controversial ones that everyone will be "listening closely to" to figure out if it's really Michael or not. In the process, they are forced to listen to the message of those particular songs which have VERY interesting lyrics.
Pure genius if you ask me.
-
 no way that's MJ just because they put his signature ad libs in there doesn't mean it's him
-
Maybe it is him but remastered with special effects so that we concentrate more to some "special" songs... (?)
-
It's him... maybe with effects, or maybe it's just him with different vocal range, he's a perfect singer so he can in each new album make a new vocal range... Also with the years and the kind of music...
Just compare Thriller Era to Dangerous Era, or Dangerous to Invincible...
Maybe I'm wrong, but this is what I think.

Let's discuss the details - please come to my thread. viewtopic.php?f=120&t=16443 (http://michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=120&t=16443)
However, the controversy explanation is tempting....
-
I agree - I love this song too.
I am with you 100%. That's our MJ and I do love this song. My grandson does too. He keeps playing it over and over again.

This is exactly what I think :geek:
-
love this song! in my opinion its all MJ the "odd" songs sound like the invincible era which of course is him. the 50 cent in this song is obvious its so good
-
Of course that's Michael. No doubt about it.
-
The vocals seem to have been manipulated to the extreme or perhaps it isn't him. I'm not a fan of these vocals. But I do love that song! It's an awesome piece; just perfect for MJ's killer choreography.
-
I think its Michael, love the song since the first time I played it off Michael Jackson facebook page. It kinda grows on you the more you listen, think it should be a "single". :D
Love the lyrics!!
-
It's Michael OK....
-
OK I'm just going to come right out and say it at the risk of a backlash but what the hell.
IMO every track on the 'Michael' CD is Michael.
-
Even Breaking news....
-
Even Breaking news....
Yes. All of it.

Somebody pissed him off! Don't wanna trip on him! Maybe this his interpretation of society's reaction from the media announcing his death?
"Funeral's, cemeteries, don't worry it's time to visit
Broke bones, tombstones, how do you think I'm kidding
Its home, sweet home, the land of the forbidden"
Everyone watching his memorial and burial but not knowing it's a hoax? That he is "kidding".
"All hell, run tell, the King has risen
2010 Thriller, there's nothing iller, it's killer
There vision, the missin' the pack, this is that,

2010 Thriller would suggest we think he is dead in 2010, but coming back to life? This is that and that is the bomb so ring the alarm so to me that says THIS IS IT! MJ number 1 and he's still going.
I love him because he can be so diverse in everything including his voice. Listen to "Don't stop til you get enough" or "Speechless" and you get his high soft voice then listen to "2000 Watts" or "Jam" and you get his lower tone. He's unpredictable.
