The Thriller video was released 27 years ago today, December 2, 1983. It is 14 minutes long. "Often referred to as the greatest music video ever and has also been voted the most influential pop music video of all time, Thriller proved to have a profound effect on popular culture, and was named "a watershed moment for the [music] industry" for its unprecedented merging of filmmaking and music. Guinness World Records listed it in 2006 as the "most successful music video", selling over 9 million units. In 2009, the video was inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress, the first music video to ever receive this honor, for being 'culturally, historically or aesthetically' significant." I find it interesting that on the Thriller video anniversary, TMZ has an article called:
This Is It ... Michael Jackson Scores Grammy Nom

14 minute video, this could be MJ's 14th grammy and a reference to TII (Thriller 2).
