“Please enjoy yourself. Don’t hesitate to do anything. Just go for it. It’s your life, enjoy it.” -- Michael Jackson

According to his sister, LaToya, that was written on a note to his mother. How sweet.  :D

Here are some more random notes of inspiration, love and light!

“Don’t just dream about grandiose acts of doing good. Every day do small ones, that add up over time to positive patterns.”

— Marian Wright Edelman

Einstein On Love

Sometimes in our relentless effort to find the person we love, we fail to recognize and appreciate the people who love us. We miss out on so many beautiful things simply because we allow ourselves to be enslaved by our own selfish concerns.

Go for the man of deeds and not for the man of words, for you will find rewarding happiness, not with the man you love but with the man who loves you more.

The best lovers are those capable of loving from a distance far enough to allow the person to grow but never too far to feel the love within your being.

To let go of someone doesn’t mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow that person to find his own happiness without expecting him to come back. Letting go is not just setting the other person free, but is also setting yourself free from all the bitterness, hatred, and anger that you keep in your heart.

Do not let the bitterness take away your strength and weaken your faith, and never allow pain to dishearten you; but rather let yourself grow with wisdom in bearing it. You may find peace in loving someone from a distance not expecting something in return. But be careful, for this can sustain life but can never give enough room for us to grow. We can all survive with just beautiful memories of the past, but real peace and happiness come only with open acceptance of what reality is today.

There comes a time in our lives when we chance upon someone so nice and beautiful and we just find ourselves so intensely attracted to that person. This feeling soon becomes a part of our everyday lives and eventually consumes our thoughts and actions. The sad part of it is when we begin to realize that this person feels nothing more for us than just a friendship. We start our desperate attempt to get noticed and be closer, but in the end our efforts are still unrewarded and we end up being sorry for ourselves. You don’t have to forget someone you love. What you need to learn is how to accept the verdict of reality without being bitter or sorry for yourself. Believe me, you would be better off giving that dedication and love to someone more deserving. Don’t let your heart run your life, be sensible and let your mind speak for itself.

Listen not only to your feelings but to reason as well. Always remember that if you lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow. If you lose love that doesn’t mean you failed in love. Cry if you have to, but make sure that tears wash away the hurt and the bitterness that the past has left with you. Let go of yesterday and love will find its way back to you.

And when it does, pray that it may be the love that will stay and last a lifetime. There are two ways to live your life: One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

There is no mistake so painful that love cannot forgive. No past so bitter that love cannot accept and no love so little that we cannot start all over with.

“No matter what, the most powerful thing in the world is the human mind and prayer, and belief in your self and confidence and perseverance. No matter how many times you do it, you do it again until it’s right. And always believe in your self. And no matter who’s around you that’s being negative or thrusting negative energy at you, totally block it off. Because whatever you believe, you become…and after all that, the most important — most important: Stay humble. The humbleness that a child, like a new born baby has. Even though you become powerful or have power with people, with your talent .. like with what Michelangelo did with sculpting, you know, underneath all that be as humble as a child, as a baby, and be as kind and as giving and loving. They don’t become puffed up with pride.”

— Michael Jackson

LookingforTruth....all the videos work fine except the India Arie one....anyway I looked it up on YT and I loooove the lyrics so much...they made me cry so I'm going to paste them here for everyone to see....very moving...

THE CURE India Arie featuring Sezen Aksu
Theres a girl who was raised to believe that love is suffering
She grows up and the man like a father gives her a wedding ring
Now she walks around up constant companion, our resentment, fear and sadness
The lack of laughter turns to cancer, this song is dedicated to her

The worst disease in the world
Its not cancer, its not aids
The cure will not be found
By any physicist or scientist
Cause any cure living every single one of us
The worst disease in the world is hate
And the cure for hate is love
Oh love, oh love, oh love

Picture this:
Theres a boy who was abused when he was 12 years old
Now guilt lives in the pit of his stomach and even though hes grown
He believes he deserves to be punished, now he lives his life past and reckless
Searching for love, helpless, this song is dedicated to him

The worst disease in the world
Its not cancer, its not aids
The cure will not be found
By any physicist or scientist
Cause any cure living every single one of us
The worst disease in the world is hate
And the cure for hate is love
Oh love, oh love, oh love

It may seem
When Im looking at the world through those kind of glasses
I believe that its so simple but sometimes it looks complicated
Gods love is like sunshine not be recognized
The most powerful energy in the universe
And all we have to do is use it

You may think
That theres nothing in the world that you can do but that aint the truth
The fact of the matter is the battle world begins with you
Be the best person you can be
Pass those values to your family
And when you pray for those you love
Say a prayer for humanity

Thanks MJsBabyDoll for the heads up and for posting up the lyrics! I'll see if I can find a working link when I'm home tonight. India Arie is a great artist when looking for something inspirational. She has such positive energy in her records. I can really feel it. And yes, I love that song by B Howard. I sometimes close my eyes and meditate with that song playing. Such an euphoric feeling I get. So happy someone posted about him on this board. Love that guy.

Hello everybody!

There are so many wonderful messages here and I wanted to respond with a few verses that apply to so many different messages from "those having an off-day" like the forum category says, so I said to myself "why not have just an entire place where we can come together during those off-days and inspire each other through God's strength and share some scripture and love?" I hope that's okay that I started this new topic here.

I will start off with 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, talking about L.O.V.E........

"It does not delight in evil,
But rejoices in the truth.
It always protects, trusts, hopes, and preserves.
There is nothing love cannot face;
There is no limit to its faith, hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things that last forever:
Faith, hope, and love;
But the greatest of them all is love."

I just wanted to say.... this place does not have to be for religious purposes. I'm sorry if I gave that impression. It's not about religion, it's about spirituality - 2 different things in my opinion. This thread can be about God in ALL forms.... God is everywhere and God is everything.... the laughter of a child... the leaves on a tree.... a crescent moon suspended in the sky...... a shooting star... a butterfly emerging from the depths of the cacoon into a new world..... a child taking his or her first breath. So this place can be about sharing scripture... or it can be about words of kindness from your heart.... it can be about L.O.V.E. in all forms... wherever it takes us.... okay?

And on the other wall I have "Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away" ...I LOVE that!! I see it everyday when I wake up and it puts me in a peaceful and grateful mood and ready to start the day.  :D

Kahlil Gibran on Love

When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.

For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.

Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.

When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, "I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Great thread. I also think that faith in God can be found in all the Creation and it is so vast that finally everything brought us back to God. I don't know why but I love little birds, in front of the window of my kitchen there is cherry tree (I looove cherries) and often in the morning there are tits coming there and I don't know why but I love them so much and they remind me God and it gives me strength just to stare at them. That's why I have birds in my dreams... (now I understand   ). In fact faith can be found in all the Creation "Faith is found in the winds" Michael sings, that's so true. God bless you all.

L.O.V.E Beckons
How deep is this thirst that no other can fill?
The wheel of time turns running until
Love's sweet embrace enraptured stands still
Cosmic connections have journeyed through space
Drawing us nearer, closer with their grace
Bleeding hearts try to contain their pain
Hot tears fall as the moon waxes and wanes
Tender kisses carried by the breeze
This is how our love visits to ease
That lonely space within the soul
Shaking us, stirring us and gently cajoles
Our spirits to wake up and rise once more
Enflamed and shining to step through that door

and here's another poem/prayer I wrote today....it's my own experience but as I read it back...I thought maybe this was Michael's experience too...hope you like it and it's not too serious....

ACCUSED
You know my heart, You know my pain
Without You in my life, I know there is nothing to gain
Many have accused me of things that were not true
I had no one else, but I always had You
I walked alone
From dusk till dawn
With bleeding feet and empty hands
A heart so heavy but I continued to make a stand
Sitting in the darkness, wading through the mud
I kept my sights on the heavens above
Standing alone being accused
Until in my mind I became confused
I have looked to You for my release
This endless torment has to cease

Youngatheart: thank you for posting the video with the African children's choir, I uploaded the song "He has the whole world in his hand" just last summer, they sing that song as well, I love how they sing so full of pure love, they are precious beyond words. I am certain that GOD is smiling down everytime they sing praises to him.

I have been reading the chapter Psalms in the bible, it is very uplifting. Also GOD is the provider of all things, he tells us if we ask in faith he will provide us our every need, it is true.

PoetryInMotion: I agree entirely to the fact it is spiritual, and not religious, and yes they are very different things from one another, like night, and day. Spirituality gives life, religion smoothers it with the rules of men.

And like many of you have seen me say before on this site, I say this again, just because it is true, love is not a feeling, it is a action. Every good deed we do out of selflessness for others is LOVE, no matter how small the deed if done without expectation of any return of favor. When GOD says "I am LOVE" this is what he means, he did many wounderful things for others while here on earth, and so we all can do great things for others will we are here on his earth.

I also agree with Poetry that this doesn't just have to be about religion.  I'm not a religious person but I do have a spiritual side, I don't believe this is all there is.  There are too many unexplainable things out there no matter how advanced our science and technology is.  Magic exists all around us if we only care to look!  Thanks for the Emily Dickinson quote, that is beautiful.  Love to all.

A Smile.....author unknown

A smile costs nothing, but gives much-
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it usually lasts forever.
None are so rich that they can get along without it-
And none are so poor but that can be made rich by it.

It enriches those who recieve, without making poor those who give-
It creates sunshine in the home,
Fosters good will in business,
And is the best antidote for trouble-
And yet it cannot be begged, borrowed or stolen for it is of no value,
Unless it is given away.

Some people are too busy to give you a smile-
Give them one of yours-
For the good Lord knows that no-one needs a smile so badly
As he or she who has no more smiles left to give.

Don't let nobody take you down
Just keep your eyes on the prize
Your feet flat on the ground

So keep the faith
Baby yeah
Because it's just a matter of time
Before your confidence will win out
But till that day
I said you gotta keep the faith

My deepest sincere hope:

We are all here because we know in our hearts that Michael is alive and we want him back with us and with his children and for him to be truly happy and at peace, so if one person's faith as small as a grain of mustard seed can move a mountain, I ask you how much more will our combined focussed faith achieve? Let's stay positive and direct this positive faith towards Michael's coming back. Let's all hold hands and send him our L.O.V.E and prayers daily, as he has always done for his beloved fans.

This is for all of you wonderful people here,  there is so much love here that I never want to leave.

Love’s always a thought worth exposing…
It is peace of mind and heart
It is the common denominator of peoples living in harmony
It is the source of true existence
Love is not hateful
Love is not warring
Love is unending…
And it is the root of real spirituality
Love is like the beginning of a new day…
It is always on time and energized with radiant light from the heavens
Love is like eternity…
It has no expiry date
Love is like the eternal flames…
It burns forever
Love is uncompromising…
It is firm
Love is like a favorite song…
Never forgotten and always alive
Love is the mother of civilization…
Hate is its enemy
Love more and be loved…
Embrace the gift like no other
Take advantage of the ultimate life’s experience…
And let love be your guide

I would also like to add this one especially for Michael

An Angel of Heaven, lips of pure delight,
To cherish and hold every coming night,
Truths I say, These truths I feel,
All of this seems so surreal.
You forgive the sinners for all they've done.
The second messiah, Sister to Gods Son.
Your life's been one of betrayal and tears,
And I feel a part of the pain of those years.
You stole my heart, captured my mind.
Forever grateful for you to find.
God's guiding angel, to change my ways.
The thought of you brightens my days.
In any sadness, in every pain,
I'll always be there to take it away,
My tears with yours, will fall like the rain,
To wash it all away.
To kiss your lips, to hold your hand,
I'll do anything, everything,
Just to understand.
To light a fire, you need a spark
A guiding light in the endless dark.
And as I write, your in my dreams,
With prayers of hope, love and all it means.....

Love (xoxo) represents us, the heart represents the hoax, and the arrows represent the things that try to throw us offguard (TMZ, lies, the family, ect.).

The arrows are constantly charging at the heart, but love always find a way to keep the heart going, no matter how many times the arrows come, they do not escape, because every attempt the hoax encounters stays with it because it could possibly lead to something else!

These are beautiful, Doll.  The first one is by Whittier

Revelation
by John Greenleaf Whittier

"And I went into the Vale of Beavor, and as I went I preached repentance to the people. And one morning, sitting by the fire, a great cloud came over me, and a temptation beset me. And it was said: All things come by Nature; and the Elements and the Stars came over me. And as I sat still and let it alone, a living hope arose in me, and a true Voice which said: There is a living God who made all things. And immediately the cloud and the temptation vanished, and Life rose over all, and my heart was glad and I praised the Living God." -- Journal of George Fox, 1690.

Still, as of old, in Beavor's Vale,
O man of God! our hope and faith
The Elements and Stars assail,
And the awed spirit holds its breath,
Blown over by a wind of death.

Takes Nature thought for such as we,
What place her human atom fills,
The weed-drift of her careless sea,
The mist on her unheeding hills?
What recks she of our helpless wills?

Strange god of Force, with fear, not love,
Its trembling worshipper! Can prayer
Reach the shut ear of Fate, or move
Unpitying Energy to spare?
What doth the cosmic Vastness care?

In vain to this dread Unconcern
For the All-Father's love we look;
In vain, in quest for it, we turn,
The storied leaves of Nature's book
The prints her rocky tablets took.

I pray for faith, I long to trust;
I listen with my heart, and hear
A Voice without a sound: "Be just,
Be true, Be merciful, revere
The Word within thee: God is near!

"A light to sky and earth unknown
pales all their lights: a mightier force
than theirs the powers of Nature own,
And, to its goal as at its source,
His Spirit moves the Universe.

"Believe and trust. Through stars and suns,
Through life and death, through soul and sense,
His wise, paternal purpose runs;
The darkness of his providence
Is star-lit with benign intents."

O joy supreme! I know the Voice,
Like none beside on earth or sea;
Yea, more, O soul of mine, rejoice,
By all that he requires of me,
I know what god himself must be.

No picture to my aid I call,
I shape no image in my prayer;
I only know in Him is all
Of life, light, beauty, everywhere,
Eternal Goodness here and there!

I know He is, and what He is,
Whose one great purpose is the good
Of all. I rest my soul on his
Immortal Love and Fatherhood;
And trust Him, as his children should.

I fear no more. The clouded face
Of Nature smiles; through all her things
Of time and space and sense I trace
The moving of the Spirit's wings,
And hear the song of hope she sings.

So I gave it a try... and wrote a poem. Bear with me I'm not english my vocabulary is limited  and I'm not an expert   but I just wanted to share with you. I followed a good advice and went in a place that I love to search for inspiration, so I went back to the park:

I went back to the park
My heart filled with expectations of spark
The faithful wind was there blowing
The leaves by him were all chanting
A song of nature elevating
The spirit in another dimension experiencing
An exquisite sensation of bliss
A precious moment worth a thousand kiss
To be remembered in times of anguish
to make the pain disappear, as fast as it takes to make a wish
I stayed there until the night
until the pain was out of sight
Because Love is what I found at the park
Illuminating my path when I went back.

God bless you all my friends and let the light shine always.  :)

I want to dedicate this poem/prayer for PoetryInMotion whose thread got linked with mine, perhaps our hearts were the same:

WHEN
When there is so much pain all around
And I am being pulled and pushed to the ground
My tears do fall
And unto You I call
Falling at Your feet
Weeping I come
Like Mary Magdalene as one
With trembling hands I reach
Will you take my soul to keep?
And this broken heart to mend?
Keep me here with you, do not send
I don't want to go there
Where no one seems to care
A world full of violence
Where lies make no sense
And cleverness pays dividends
Where minds don't grasp the truth
They need you to give them proof
It happens time and time again
I pray you say to me "this is the end"

Thank you MJforeverandAlways. How could someone who wrote such deep, heartfelt, sincere words be a Troll? I write poetry. maybe I am one too? I posted this before, but I wanted to post it again, it seems relevant, and knowing what Michael has been through in his life with many false accusations. From one who knows what that feels like, I can only say that it hurts a lot.

ACCUSED
You know my heart, You know my pain
Without You in my life, I know there is nothing to gain
Many have accused me of things that were not true
I had no one else, but I always had You
I walked alone
From dusk till dawn
With bleeding feet and empty hands
A heart so heavy but I continued to make a stand
Sitting in the darkness, wading through the mud
I kept my sights on the heavens above
Standing alone being accused
Until in my mind I became confused
I have looked to You for my release
This endless torment has to cease

Thank you MJforeverandAlways. How could someone who wrote such deep, heartfelt, sincere words be a Troll? I write poetry. maybe I am one too? I posted this before, but I wanted to post it again, it seems relevant, and knowing what Michael has been through in his life with many false accusations. From one who knows what that feels like, I can only say that it hurts a lot.

Unfortunatelly, trolls do know a lot about Michael, but can´t  fool people for too long  ;)

Dear Gema, do you really believe that someone who writes with such beauty and purity, and has stirred something deep within is a Troll? Is this what your HEART says or is this something in your mind? I ask you with L.O.V.E, because we cannot recognise L.O.V.E with the mind.....the mind is full of fears based on past negative experiences and conditioning. If L.O.V.E stood before us, could we recognise it? (hug)

This is  Sarahli's signature:

"We are here for you Michael and will always love you whatever happens.
In a world full of lies to tell the truth is a revolutionary act.
Only God knows what's in the heart of people, so let's stop judging. Just let God decide."

I ask all of us....are these just mere words?

By the way Sarahli, I loved your poem and thank you for the kind compliments about my poetry. And I thank PoetryInMotion for inspiring the poet in all of us and for this very positive thread that is helping us all come together in faith in Michael's name. I hope when he reads our posts, they will make him smile and give his soul some peace.

I love you dearly Michael, always and forever.  :)

Doll I have to say I'm with Gema on this one.  When he was here I was of the opinion it didn't matter if he was/wasn't Michael but then he refused to deny it and said some things in the chatroom that were so obviously implying he was.  Not coincidental things but things like asking  someone to let them speak to a sick child they know as if to imply they could cure them, we all know what's been said about Michael's ability in that respect.  The real Michael would of course do that but here?  Not at all he'd be revealed, it was an attempt to make people think he actually was him.  There was no harm in the poems but that healer stuff is messing with people's minds.  And his presence was causing friction between the other members as he knew it would.  Souza did the right thing by stepping in I think before it went any further.  Not to say he did have malicious intentions he might just enjoy the attention.  Also how do we even know he wrote those poems they could have come from anywhere?

By the way I wish no one any harm or ill intent. Just voicing the questions that arise in my heart and wanting to keep my mind open to higher influences, and not be guided by mine or other's fears.

Dear trustno1....like your name by the way!

I "hear" what you are saying, I really do. None of us know Michael personally, so we do not know what he would or would not do. I hear over and over people saying, "Michael would not do that....Michael would do this", and quite frankly that is being judgemental based on what we can see of him from the surface of his public persona. He is a person and very human...only he knows what he may or may not do in the situation that he could be in right now. Could it be that he would want to reach out to his fans over the internet whom he loves very much as we all know. He has given his life for them. So you are saying that someone else with a beautiful mind and heart could have written those poems....well, then PIM is fortunate indeed to know someone like that.

I love you. (hug)  :)

MJsBabyDoll, I´ll put it this way.

PIM was old news.
His moves were predictible and he behaved as expected.

We knew what the next step was about to be and @Souza took the right decision.

Souza mentioned that if any one had a problem with it, you could PM her  :)

MJsBabyDoll, I have explained this issue to you a zillion times. If you still have problems with it, so be it, but this will be discussed in PM and NOT on the forum. I see you only joined last October 28, so I don't see how you can judge me, who has been dealing with this for over a year. Next time you will get an official warning.

This thread will also be locked, just like any other threads disrespecting the decisions of the mods or admins, most definitely when I have explained it to you many times.
