How much does it cost to take an ambulance ride to the hospital? If you call 911 and EMS has to take you to the hospital, how much is the bill that you get in the mail later on for ambulance services? If you were taken in for alcohol poisoning.

I don't know about a real emergency but I think it costs more if there are actors involved and your filming the ride just to make sure nobody misses it - that would apply to the helicopter and the coroner's van as well.

It differs in different places.I do know that here in the state of Washington it costs betwee 800.00 and 850.00 no matter if the scene of the accident is 1 block or 29 blocks from the hospital.Here they term it as (transport) fee...Hope that helped any

Here in Holland? € 0,00... Only if you let and ambulance come for no reason, you pay around € 600,00. Why do you ask? Is this of relevance to the hoax? Are you going somewhere with this? Otherwise this should be posted in General Talk, and not in the Ambulance subforum.
