Also, I've never seen hair on MJ's chest before. In all the video clips and concerts where he shows his chest (you know, where he rips his shirt off :D) there's no hair!!

Actually it doesn´t look very straight to me.. the hair. Not curly as well, but sth in between...
I also saw a pic where MJ had chest hair.. well, maybe he didnt shave it when he wasn´t on a foto shoot or show?

I don't think the poster said black men don't have chest hair, I think they said the chest hair on black men would look slightly different to that of white men. Also, I have seen pics of MJ with chest hair before but I was dubious as to whether or not it was actually MJ.

That is Michael in the picture.
Michael has Native American genes as well as Black. His Great Great Grandfather was full blooded Native American.

This can account for variation in Michael as well as why Blanket has straight hair and a lighter complexion also depending on the nationality of his mother and the genetic material he received from her. It all comes down to genetics.

Hm, it may be so that he's got Native American in him, but you've got a point there, Frogh- I think that someone whose natural hair looks like this: (http://www.justsharethis.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/1977MichaelJackson.jpg) would have chest hair like the one on the bottom, not long and wavy like the top pic.. Hmm..

As a black man myself. We can grow hair in many different ways. This chest hair argument is just irrelevant. Others grow hair in completely different ways. Some may have the curly chest hair, others may not. I know some black people who just have slightly straighter hair than others, not straight like a white persons. The black people with the slightly straighter hair were normally the ones who can grow a HUGE afro. Not all black people's hairs are the same lol.

Where is this picture from? I have seen this jacket/shirt with the pyramids. Supposedly, there were prayer beads on the bed. It's an interesting picture itself. Is it shopped or cropped from another. Just curious.......

Just look for pics where you can see his brothers' or his father's chest hair & see what theirs look like. IMO I think analyzing his chest hair is just silly though, just like the people who made up those stories of him having every single chest hair & facial hair implanted, lol WTH? I've seen African American men who have long wavy chest hair like that & some who don't have any at all. It just depends.

Um.. since when do white men have straight chest hair???? All the white men i know have curly chest hair. Ive never seen straight chest hair.
And i agree with an earlier poster.. find pics of his father and his brothers with their chest hair on show and compare it.

That chest hair to me look curly NOT straight. It's just not really tight curls, it's sparse. Joe Jackson is reported to have White on his side & Katherine does have Native on her side. & look at the Jackson family's hair, they have long, thick, pretty hair. So why would it be impossible for him to have chest hair like that? Like I said before, to be sure, look at his father & brother's chest hair. That will tell you the answer.

I can see where you are coming from but you are absolutely wrong. First, Vitiligo effects the pigment cells of the body, what does hair have? Pigment cells. We have all heard that vitiligo can turn hair white as well (not all the time) but it also effects the hair structure! Pigment cells are deposited in the hair as it is forming in the bulb and hardens as it grows. Lack of pigment, especially in those with LOTS of it, such as African Americans, can have structure changes in the hair when color pigment is no longer present in the amounts it was...(it can still be present in the hair and not in the skin)
Second....Michael has Native American in his blood, since I am one, I can comment on that, Natives are by nature pretty hairless and of straight body hair. (of course there are exceptions to every rule) What does this have to do with body hair and MJ? First off, MJ is a black man who never had "nappy" hair. He had very curly hair but it was never course or kinky...Hair shape is determined by the shape of the hair follicle itself and characteristics of "nappy" hair is that it is the follicle is flat causing the hair shaft to be flat as it is being formed and hardened. This sounds strange but true. Michaels hair shaft was not flat causing kinks and naps, it was round...this is important because this type of hair can easily be straightened....if you see pictures of him in that famous shot him all wet during his Afro days, his Afro is down from the water and in curls, not "naps" There are a few early pictures of MJ (say say say pics with paul) where you can see his belly hair and it is curly but not too tight, not naps. Wearing clothing thru the day can straighten body hair as the day goes on and is easier done on people whose hair shaft is round rather than flat. MJ shaved his chest hair by the way...I have seen younger pics of him where you can see the stubble and even one where it's not shaved, its a younger pic so the area is still small...no "middle age spread" of hair...LOL

My sister in law as it on her body and in her hair - she has had grey streaks in her hair from birth and so do her three children so I agree with what you are saying.

My ex husband is black and he had "wooly" looking chest hair but he kept shaving it off cos I didnt like it and it did go straight.

It's Barry Shaw. 100%. 'This' Michael looks identical to the one who couldn't sing at the WMA's, as well as to the Michael in the MTV interview. Also, notice when it's Barry, he doesn't allow closeups. He simply does not like when he's photographed up close, and for good reason...first of all, this guy is a different shade then Michael. He's got this natural lighter tone about him that makes me question who I'm looking at, really. He's also 'veinier' ... Look around the eyes, Michael has strong and mature eyes, yet this guy seems a little defeated in his expression, like his face is 'stuck' to look the way it does. The differences are as subtle as those between the 2 Paul McCartney (Which I can't believe no one on this forum has yet brought up, in relation to the doubles actually existing, and all) --> but they're definitely there...thoughts?

And saying it's another man just because he doesn't want a camera shoved right into his face is...I don't know what it is! MJ wanted privacy and it was important for him how he appeared on the screen.

Just wanted to add an insignificant detail, the jacket in the OP is Givenchy and not Balmain as someone mentioned. I know I'm being silly :oops: lol, but just wanted to get all facts right :D . He did seem very infautuated with the Balmain jackets though (women's collection). Yup, Mike's always been fierce ;) .

There are several things wrong with comparing these two photographs.
1. The two pictures are taken from completely different angles. So the ears can not be compared exactly. This difference in angle can make it appear that there are differences in shape etc when there may not be.
2. Michael's head is tilted differently in the two photographs, this again creates angle differences.
3. Lighting and shadow must be considered as the conditions under which each photograph was taken are also different. Due to angles already mentioned in points 1 & 2 this can lead to what may at first appear to be differences when there may not be any.
4. The pictures are different sizes. This makes the ears and anything that may distinguish them unable to be compared adequately.
To sum it up, you can not compare any photograph unless they are taken from exactly the same position, the head must also be in the same position, the lighting conditions must be the same and the size of the pictures also has to be the same. Distortions can be caused by any of these and there are probably other things to consider as well.
Even the following comparison is not accurate due to the above mentioned flaws.

"We decided that Michael Jackson, in reconstructive surgery of the nose, should get ear cartilage," Mang said. "You make a cut here on the skin of the ear and then you take out a big piece of the cartilage on the side. "Then you make a cut on the nose and put [the cartilage] there. It's a wonderful material to reconstruct noses and repair it."
The operation, which was performed in Hoefflin's clinic, took about two hours, and then Jackson's nose was in bandages for about two weeks, Mang said. Mang pronounced the reconstruction a success. Arnold Klein, Jackson’s dermatologist, said that he stopped him from going to a plastic surgeon and began rebuilding his nose and cheeks using fillers last year.
“I thought he had a nice-looking nose... but it got to the point where it was far too thin. It didn’t look natural to me,” Dr Klein told the CNN programme Larry King Live.
“I rebuilt it, using fillers. He was beginning to look like the nose was normal again. And that’s all I wanted — and to regain the breathing passages of his nose, because there was a total collapse of the cartilage.”
Dr Klein had completed work on the singer’s nose but was continuing to treat him for severe acne and scarring from plastic surgery before his planned series of concerts in London. He saw Jackson for the last time just three days before his death.
“I just was trying to get him ready to do the concert, because in the way he looked in his face he wanted it to be absolutely as perfect as it could be,” he said.

None of us can know the extent of the truth in any of these stories. We don't know how much plastic surgery Michael had either. He was seeing Klein regularly is all we know for sure. I honestly do not for an instant believe that Michael was sharing his life and the spotlight with a double, a twin, a doppleganger etc.
There is only one Michael Jackson, he may have used look-alikes to distract large crowds, misdirect paparazzi and illusions/stunts for stage but really that is all.

The article says the "inset" picture was taken in 1997 not the ear picture you posted. The one you posted was taken in June 2009.

I know that, but what i am saying is. if you followed Michael before his death he was constantly going to the clinic every week and you can see that his ear was normal until that day, half of his ears was missing. So can you please explain how his ears were normal most of the weeks and this particular day half of his ears were gone?

I know we've all seen it before, but its just a reminder, about this specific topic. Just because it looks different sometimes, that doesn't mean anything.
The truth is, is that unless youre MJ or one of his doctors, we don't know how many procedures he's had and we don't know the specific date of every single time he had something done. We don't know what he was doing to his ears, he could've been getting work done on them. so what if his ears look different in pictures, a lot of things about his face look different in a lot of pictures haha it doesnt mean anything the same goes with everybody else. the fact is that his appearance was always changing so much (even his hair. he wore wigs, its not fair to compare his hair to be different even if its just the next day) and because of the fact that he changed so often it is my personal opinion that just because something looks different doesnt make me feel like its an entirely different person posing as a double. thats just the way he is.
Even if you disregard every single picture you might think is a double and are left only with the photos you think are Michael, youre still left with a face that is constantly changing. And there's nothing wrong with that because he was always beautiful no matter how he looked.

Well, It can sounds silly, but here both complexion and a bearing, and ears, and hair, and the head form etc. I can't explain...... Simply stranger... When I the first time looked TII I have simply gasped. (As well as MJ on О2). Forgive me for these words, but I haven't identifyd him almost

I see Michael as well.
The picture has too much of the colour Green in it. You can also see this from looking at Kenny's complexion.
That is Michael's natural hair, he is not wearing a wig in that picture.
His hair is kind of messy, maybe that is why you think his head is shaped differently when it isn't. :lol:
His ear is covered by his hair, you can only see the top peeking out so there isn't really anything to compare that too.
We already know that Michael had lost some weight so this accounts for some difference in appearance than what fans were used to seeing him look like. Losing weight really does change your overall appearance and in your face too.
