It is my understanding that a part of Michael died on June 25th and that this is what the family is ''mourning''. What part of Michael died?
Michael's prescription drug addiction? (Decided to go to rehab and begin a new healthier lifestyle)
Michael the entertainer? (Wanting to retire, live anonymously & never entertain for the world again)
Michael's so called ''secret twin''? (We all know this theory)
Michael's past problems and rumours? (Wanting justice from the media and accusors)
Michael the ''King of Pop''? (Establishing himself as an actor and movie director)
Michael the victim? (DEA theory, in safe keepings)
I think June 25th is more significant than just a movie and DEA theories. I think a part of him died and he wanted to put that part of him behind himself. I want to know what it was.

I think in all probability is either the 2nd or the last reason. Why come back as an actor-he could have done that without "dying" and facing all the hate etc and repercussions.

I can see that. I think some part of Michael did die on the 25th as well. I believe it was a part of him that he was ready to shed. Now, if we only knew what that was we could have so many questions answered.

when watching past interviews Michael referred to himself as Michael Jackson the entertainer an so on.. then on the inside Michael Jackson the real person beyond the entertainment value!! (as 2 people) so maybe that person died an he is just concentrating on Michael Jackson!! who was born as a normal person (without fame).. now to live a normal yet sucluded life with his kids!!

I was thinking that too. I have to be honest, if that is the case then it is completely fine with me. I think Michael the normal guy deserves to LIVE, and not just fight for co-existance with Michael Jackson the entertainer.

I think their all a possibility. I would go with 4, 5 & or 6. I also think a part of Michael died on June 25th, but it's hard to say exactly which part. I would love to know though! Hopefully we'll know soon! ;)

you're reading my mind:) I also think that it may be so that some part of MJ died that day. Maybe it's so that he's died as a personality and lives on as a normal person. Which doesn't change the fact that I want him back!!

After my opinion, since he decided to live a different new life, as far as possible from the media attention, he will be just Michael the businessman and his children' father.

Your post reminds me of the sentence, "Always great to sing with my brother" is written on TII album. The brother could mean a part of him(as a musician?).
So #2 and #5 are convincing to me.
But, I really hope he will come back as a musician, cause I can't imagine him not as a musician.

I honestly believe he wanted to live out of the public eye due to all of the media attention for so many years. The thing that gets me is well... could MJ really leave the spotlight? I can see him doing behind the scene things, but to dissappear forever? IDK I know he loved his fans, but remember the family said family first , and fans second? I believe he will not return because so much has happened, the tribute shows, the estate, legal matters why would he return? It has to be a darn good reason if he does.I dont think he went through all of this to return.

The man who inspired him died 6 months before on dec 25 (James Brown)
Michael is an actor and director now and he is working on his movie now.

I also believe that the 'King Of Pop' has died, and not the person Michael Jackson.
And I think there are more reasons than just one why he hoaxed his death.

Why didnt I think of that??? I asked the question but the answer was right infront of me all along!!!! This makes so much sense!!!! :o

He did say that THIS IS IT was for his kids, so maybe whatever IT is is for his kids but not the concert THIS IS IT but a better life?

I think nothing really died that day. He is STILL the king of pop. He still can sing as the best! I don't think he is going to bring albums out after his comeback. I think he still will sing (also for fun) but maybe a few songs you know. But I think there will be movies directed by Michael!! :D YAY!

Ok I have a question for you all that I wanted to see your thoughts on, ok so once 2005 trail was over MJ left to stay in Dubai ect, I know that there are a few pics of him and the children over there but I don't know about you all but I never heard much about him after that, I did'nt even hear about the O2 anocement until June 25th, I live in Florida. So if MJ stayed pretty low key from when the trail was done till about the end of 2008, I wonder what he was up too those cuple of years, and If he was left alone for that amount of time, why go back into the spot light again if he wanted peace and a normal life with his children? It has to be a bigger reason than for him to get away to have a quiet life, if feel as if he may have found out about something HUGE and wanted to let the world know, Im just not sure what it could be, but it is kinda werid/coisidental that Prince Charles is doing a HUGE thing on the Rainforest, and Al Gore has been doing alot of things lately, and the movie 2012, and Disney is coming out with an Ocean movie on earth day 2010? Soooo many dots to connect, puzzle pieces to fit together. :?
