Title: Connecting the DOTS - make.believe connection?
Post by: Foxello on June 21, 2010, 06:16:00 AM
After reading TS's update #6 last night, I got thinking about all the 'DOTS' that he/she has told us to keep looking for. Now, TS's original request for us to look for the DOTS in the TMZ articles, but what if he/she means to keep looking for DOTS elsewhere?

The first thing I immediately thought of, which has been discussed before, is the make.believe advertisements for Sony. Let's remember that Sony have been huge in Michael's career, and they have continued to give us clues and apparently spreading MJ's message (TII, 2012, etc).

As discussed before, the phrase/term 'make.believe' is very weird and actually quite illiterate. Wouldn't Make Believe....... or Make/Believe. or Make......believe or any other possibility make more logical sense for a promotional ad? What does it mean? And in particular, what does the . mean? Of course, 'a .' = 'a DOT' = 'make DOT believe'. Now, 'make DOT believe' doesn't actually make any sense at all (not like 'Always Coca-Cola', for example), but are we suppose to split the three words to understand the meaning? Doing that would mean we have make/DOT/believe. Is it possible that each word is suppose to equal something, and that then that meaning is combined? (apologies if I'm not making much sense!    ) For example:

Make - making the hoax become a reality?
DOT - Join the dots to learn new clues?
Believe - The information we find will make us believe?

makeDOTbelieve - The hoax has happened, we are now finding clues, which helps us to believe????

But, if Sony are trying to give us clues to MJ, why? Because they are employers of MJ? Because they want a share of the hoax? They have future plans for the hoax? Or, could it be something more? This is from TS' recent update:

"I’m not sure if anyone noticed that the last half of “DOTS” is “TS”."

To me, that implies that TS is trying to get us to think of the DOTS. But simply the TMZ dots, or maybe other dots? Maybe.....Sony's dots?!?! Is TS telling us he is from Sony?!?!

This is just a theory, I have no proof, so please don't be too mean!

P.S. Another random though. Dot is commonly associated with being short for Dorothy. Dorothy is the lead character in the Wizard of Oz, a film that tell us to "follow the yellow brick road".....or maybe the yellow taxi? (judge's picture, When In Rome MJ 7....) Yellow taxi = New York = 9/11?????

What if DOT is suppose to sound like DOUBT? Make the Doubters BELIEVE!!!! The Non Believers, thus bringing together the fandom. But we have tried and tried with them and it's no use. They want to wallow in the hurt and morbidity 24 hours a day. I for one want to go towards the light and even if Michael is passed away I refuse to wallow around dying any more. I will love him and keep him close as an angel.

That's a plausible theory Foxello. And I keep thinking of that portrait of Mike made up of dots from each fan. And Nerfari, there has to be a coming together of all fans just like in the portrait to make the whole. I don't know how, but I'm sure Mike left nothing uncovered.
