I recieved an e-mail from SONY that said make believe,saw this video on thier site and it sounded like a message especially the name "SOLDIER OF LOVE?" The reason I really find this strange is if you think about the chances of people making a group called "Soldiers of Love" What are the chances SONY corp comes out with a song called exactly the same thing "Soldier of LOVE" another coincidence I just don't buy it!

i think you are reading to much in to this song. not every song has to be message from mj ,sometimes people say things and everyone take it as they want....

...so good to hear from Sade again...I so identify with this song personally AND yes,
"This Is..." Especially timely. This is Sade, though. She could be a beLIEver or just being herself.

I think terror is right. It's mighty coincidental at a time when so many things seem coincidental in this situation. too many coincidences at once! And the Sade video looks very similar to military images in MJ's performances.
even if it may not have any relevance, it would seem appropriate to at least raise the question.

the lyrics, the music and especially the video
have various elements that remember me of Michael!
The video reminds me of the Earth Song a lot.
The soldiers are also quite Michaelish (yes, the title, I know,
but even the dance is similar). There is also something
reminding me of Blood on the Dancefloor and there is
a man in the end with that bowl on a chain spreading
that haze. Michael had such a man during Smooth Criminal
on tour.
It's most definitely inspired by Michael.

I agree! Watching it now.. I noticed the dancers as well as the atmosphere. And some of her sparkly outfits. Very interesting. When she's standing on that cliff it reminds me of "You are not alone".. alot of different scenes that resemble his videos.

I saw that music video a few days ago...reminded me of Michael how he was doing the TII show and had the guys marching for the "They Dont Care About Us" song

I am absolutely sure that Soldier of Love is connected to Michael and it represents Sade's declaration of adherence to his message and goals. Sade and Michael belong to the same generation of artists. Also, the use of the verses "but I'm still alive", "to stay alive", "I have the will to survive" emphasize pretty much the idea of "still alive" (despite all the evil) and seems somehow pushed into the song, not flowing naturally. Moreover, the soldiers' dance remind a lot of Michael's Drill for TDRCAU, especially at the end of the video, when they nodd their heads like Michael and they end with the "resistence" fist.
To add, when the first connection was made between Sade's Soldier of Love and Michael (a few weeks ago), by a beLIEver through a youtube video, suddenly all the videos of Sade's song were banned, for a long time.

this blog..well i haven'e heard about the song 'Skin' .. but the lyrics clearly show that it for Mike..;)
and for me there's no doubt that 'Soldier of love' is connected to the hoax! Mike wanted to have his own Army of Love!
