About the state of the room this is what Murray said in the police interview:

Quote
Dr. Murray: That would be the room where I would typically see him. No one was allowed to go into the other room to the left.

Detective Martinez: Oh.

Dr. Murray: I asked him about that, and typically wherever he lived, he always had two sites. First of all, he does not trust people coming into his room, because he said he had lost things before. And his room is always in a bad state, and not even the cleaners would be allowed to go in there. So I never went into that room.

So Michael being busy that would explain why it wasn't perfectly ordered geek/, that is if he lived there in the first place. I'm just going along the script.

I'm also having a hard time believing that Michael actually lived in that house ???/
@PureLove, i think that we were told that the room was warm and we thought it was needed to keep the corpse warm. I think that you made a little mistake ;)). By the way, i didn't hear paramedics say it in court, or did i miss it?
Clearly Michael is the only person who could turn on the fireplace, as no one else was allowed into his room. The last time Michael could have been in his room before he "died" was either before rehearsal on June 24th, which would be around 5:00pm or after that on June 25th at around 1:00 am. But i don't see a reason for him to turn on a fireplace in his room at 1:00 am when he was going to sleep in another room.   So supposedly he lit the fireplace at 5:00pm (regularly people don't do this, but supposedly it happened) on June 24th and went to a rehearsal, then he came back and forgot to turn it off, then he went to sleep and "died". Investigators arrived to the house at around 4:00 pm on June 25th, so the fireplace was on for at least 23 hours. From what i know, it seems to be very unlikely. Do we have a fireplace and burning wood experts here? fresse/

Ohh yeahhh. That's right. So that explains why the fire place was on.  But the tv is weird still. Maybe the detectives wanted to watch some CSI series to learn what to do in an investigation place.

They mentioned in court it was a "gas" fireplace, but I had pointed out earlier in this thread that there is NO way it was a gas fireplace...he has a fireplace tool set next to the fireplace and you would only need that if it was a wood burning fireplace.

I'm sorry that's not true.  I have been to many homes including two of my mothers and my aunts home all which have gas fire places and they have the tools for a fire place. Of course these are not used they are simply for show. Just thought I'd share so it's not a misconception.  ;)

Hey Family....just wanted to share something I just watched on tv. My Hubby watches "Rob & Big" on MTV2 and the episode that was on was one of Rob dressing up as a fat man. Now if anyone knows who Rob Dyrdek is, he is a small guy....they put a fat face mask on him along with a fat suit. Then they took this very short man and put prosthetic leg lifts on him. They looked just like prosthetic legs, but were like stilts. He went from about 5'5 -5'6 (just guessing because he is short) to almost a 7 foot tall heavy man....and no one knew it was him. It showed him walking and you would not know he was not that tall if you didn't know any better. My point is, I do believe that anything is possible when it comes to Michael, and watching this show just confirmed in me that it is possible. I'm not saying that Michael is Murray everyday...but I think it's possible that Michael could be CM at times. Here's the video...This is the only copy I could find on youtube and it's not the greatest sorry for that. OK...I can not seem to figure out how to post this video so if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it!  Thanks   bearhug

Thanks for posting this!  It, of course, doesn't prove that Murray is Mike...but it does prove that the technology to increase a man's size a few inches IS available...which is something that was in 'dispute'.  We can put that to rest, at least.  And the technology used in "Rob & Big" would, of course, be proportionate to their budget...imagine what they could do, if they so chose, if they had the budget dedicated to the 'Greatest Show on Earth'.

Where there's a will...there's a way.  When that 'will' is Mike's....anything is possible.

Thank you Kristina for posting the pictures - and don't forget to break a glass when moving, courage today!

I am amused and touched at the same moment by this picture:

because there is not only a mess, but THERE IS A FIRE BURNING.
End of June, right, we need a fire in L.A.? It's freezingly cold when everybody has left the house except those cleaning staff forgetting about the water taps (or fire hoses), right?

So it's safe to say that there is no fire needed when everybody has moved out from a "crime scene" house and it's also safe to say that at the moment the picture was taken after everybody had moved out of a "crime scene" house, the fire did neither have to warm up the room nor a freezing patient nor a coroner's or LAPD photographer or paparazzi. Right?

So either the photo was taken BEFORE or DURING the "crime scene" set up to be "warming up a room with a freezing patient" (and not afterwards) or somebody had the guts to light a fire after everybody had left the scene "to make it look like a real fire in the real room at the very true moment".
Breath. LOL

I am saying "warming up" since it's a tiny fire. This size cannot be used to produce much heat.

So the timing of this fire is not right, supporting the "heat cause" is not right and thus the question is: why is there a fire at all on this photo allegedly taken end of June 2009 in L.A. at an empty "crime scene" for documenting purposes?

My thoughts:
1) a fire is alive
2) a fire burns something to ashes
3) a fire produces smoke (inevitably as can be seen in this chimney as well)
4) a fire is being ignited by a spark
5) a fire needs to be taken care of
6) a fire needs to be guarded
7) "keep the fire burnin'"

(and as I'm old socks LOL, I was reminded of REO Speedwagon and their song)

Quote
Keep the fire burnin'

Let it keep us warm.
The world will keep on turnin' -
Let it turn you on.
Let us not stop learnin'

We can help one another be strong

Let us never lose our yearnin'
To keep the fire burnin' all night long.
You've been changing so much

I'm not sure you're in touch with what's real.
You just come and you go
Never letting me know how you feel.
And I'm livin' here in doubt

There's so much to talk about

I know that we can work it out.
We can - keep the fire burnin'
. . .
We've been thru this enough

It gets rough but there's nowhere to run
This is where we belong.
We are stronq we can never give up
Or we wanted to we could

But we've always understood
To keep knockin' for the good.
Oh
keep the fire burnin'
. . .
Keep the fire burin'
. . .

Remember, there are Christmas wreaths on the gates.  There is also what looks like a Christmas garland swagged at the top of the stairs.....it's from one of those interior pictures we saw early in trial.  When I saw Christmas wreaths on the gates with the ambulance, it's one of the things that made question it all.  I immediately thought why on earth are wreaths still on the gates in June?  I love Christmas...however that's even long for me,lol.  That's when I noticed the shadows on the ground of the ambulance video.  For a winter shadow around 1pm, they seemed off to me....don't know how, they just seemed off.  We have been told that Michael loved Christmas so much he liked to keep the wreaths up...yada, yada, yada.  We have been "told" much during the past 2.5 years.  No doubt he loves Christmas...just why have wreaths up in June?
So now we are here, talking again about the temperature of the room, the fireplace etc.  I still have to wonder if it's June at all.  I have a gas fireplace in my bedroom.  I am, by nature a cold person...not cold-hearted, lol.....just cold.  Even I don't use the fireplace in June.  I am not in CA, but have lived there.  It's not cold enough in June.  So, I figure you guys on must be onto something corpse-wise, it's not June at all, or there was an ambiance needed for that day that required a fire going.  I have no idea....at this point a good cup of coffee is needed, I'm cold : )

Blessings for a great Sunday!

Here's a wild question followed by an even wilder thought:

Question: Has it been mentioned by anyone that something was missing?

Thoughts: A fire is always a good way to destroy or get rid of things you don't want others to have or find.
