Hypocrite world we're living in. If an anonymous person who also happens to have kids wants to go to Paris (or anywhere else for that matter), no one takes offense. When someone who's (somewhat) famous, wants to eat at McDonald's around the corner of his/her house, he/she should ask permission PLUS the next day he/she can read in the tabloids he/she is addicted to junk food.

This judgemental behaviour is exactly what (almost) destroyed MJ and many other celebs. No matter how famous someone is, at all times he/she is entitled to a personal life and it is absolutely no ones business how he/she lives his/her life. Managing/controlling your own life alone should be a big enough task for everyone, no need to try to do that for others.....

Michael Jackson News / Re: King of Pop - will come under attack today!
« on: April 30, 2010, 05:33:16 AM »
Isn't it all a paradox? Tabloids and their equivalent brought through cable/satellite exist by the grace of the interest of the fans of those stars exposed in the media. Vice versa is equally true: Moviestars, popstars etc exist by the grace of the tabloids and the likes. The majority of pictures used as sigs by users on this forum have been shot by paps who work for the tabloids which some/many people here on this forum claim to hate.

Don't forget that bad/negative exposure have about the same effect as good/positive exposure. It's all about creating mass interest and whether the interest stems from negative or positive does not really matter financially. Since we all know that releasing movies, records, tabloids, TV shows etc is all about generating money, as long there's interest, bad or good, the money keeps rolling. Slamming an article or TV show here on this forum only increases the interest, people will be provoked to take a look, thus will be exposed to the commercial part surrounding the article or show. It's as simple as 1+1 equals 2.

No matter how much MJ said he hated the tabloids and what was said/written about him, unless he was a total dummy (which he is/was not I suppose), he also realised he gained the status he had through the very same media. Without them he wouldn't be half as big as he was and that is just a simple fact. MJ's line of industry walks hand in hand with the tabloid industry, they are parallel industries which can not survive without eachother. Once they'd release eachother's hands, they both would fall into the deep and be forgotten.

Imagine the tabloids not spilling one word (good or bad) on MJ or the Jacksons as a whole....where would the Jacksons be nowadays? I guess they'd still be in Gary, Indiana.

Michael's Impersonators / Re: The Wylie Factor

@Nefari:

Which hand is wearing the glove in both pictures? Right, the hand that holds the microphone. The two images are identical, one is just a mirrored copy of the other.

Although I can not support it with evidence, but I do know a thing or two about (digital) editing of imagery as it occupies me 10 hours/day (it's my profession). The mirroring as has been done with this image I do as well when appropriate. If a customer supplies me with images that have to be used and the motion of one of the image flows the wrong direction (drawing attention away from main content), I also flip it. This mirroring of images happens all the time on webpages, in tabloids, newspapers etc. Even in motion graphics mirroring is quite common as long there are no dead give aways like for example text which would appear mirrored and creating some disturbance (thus drawing away focus again). And even mirrored text can be fixed quite easily without the audience even noticing the movie clip has been altered.

Edit:
In a very fast and hasty manner I made a little collage in which the similarities I described above become more visible.

The two images as posted from both Michael and Wylie in the same pose are not two different people, but 100% sure represent the same person. One image is mirrored and one of the images got a treatment in Photoshop (or any other editor). It appears the sharpness and exposure have been altered which create the idea of thinner/thicker as the difference between highlights and shadows get less when blowing the exposure.

Other evidence for this being the same image? Yes, there is. Look at other things besides the main character in the images. The background is absolutely the same. In the foreground there's audience, which are in both images the same.

Although small, in image You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, in front of the right foot, there's a small part of the balding head of the person who appears more clear in image You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Conclusion: Same person.

Questions about the forum and/or website / Re: Malware Issue
« on: April 16, 2010, 09:53:13 AM »
I also get the malware warning and found out it has to do with the signature of Cameron which links to
www noelshack com (intentionally left out the dots out of the URL as I don't know for sure whether the URL is causing the problems or something else in the signature file (hosted remotely) itself.

All topics in which Cameron has posted show the malware warning to me, so maybe an idea to ask Cameron to remove that specific link/signature animated GIF

The day is coming, can we wish something would happen?

Something will happen, that's for sure. The question remains what will happen though. I checked the site of Uri Geller and found something interesting (a diary entry by Uri Geller, full article to be read here: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login )

I had a unique experience while I was promoting the show - I was transformed into a hologram. It's a fascinating techical process, which i don't pretend to understand. I was filmed from several angles, as I read from an autocue, and then my ghostly image was projected onto the stage.

The audience gasped, but the biggest shock came at the end, when my image turned into a computer-generated picture of a spoon. It was like seeing myself transported into a lifesize version of the 3D blockbuster Avatar... only my avatar was a piece of cutlery!

Before the audience had stopped applauding, the spoon exploded and, in a burst of dramatic lighting, I stepped onto the stage. I think a lot of people still believed I was a hologram.

Using the same technology, the organisers were also able to project a hologram of Michael Jackson, moonwalking across the arena. I predict that one day, we will go to live events featuring 3D computer graphics of pop stars such as Elvis and The Beatles, who will look and sound exactly like the real thing.

So, possibly a hologram tonight?

WHO SAYS ITS RECORDED IN HOLLAND? I REMEMBER LAST YEAR I COULD WIN TICKETS FOR THE LIVE SHOW OF THE NEW URI GELLER AND I FOUND OUT IT WAS RECORDED IN GERMANY !! BECAUSE I HAD TO TAKE THE BUS TO GERMANY AND I DIDNT WANT TO DO THAT ... SO IF THIS TIME THE SHOW IS RECORDED IS GERMANY ALSO THAN MJ CAN BE THERE   OR SATILITE IS ANOTHER OPTION FOR HIM TO SHOW UP... sorry i just read that this friday its live recorded in hilversum (holland)

It is actually a live broadcast from studio 24 in Hilversum, but that does not matter. It could be a live broadcast from New Zealand and still only people in Holland would be able to watch it. No one, besides people who have a subscription with CanalDigitaal for satellite TV or people who have cable TV in Holland, can watch this dutch version of "the New Uri Geller" on SBS6 real time. Only from the next day when it will be hosted on the site of SBS6 it will be viewable by those who don't fall in the before mentioned groups.

BTW, maybe you didn't know and I certainly don't want to offend you, but typing in only caps is considered very rude as it equals shouting.

When is the show this week ? And where can I watch it ?

Friday evening, 20:30 dutch time on dutch channel SBS6. Unless you're in Holland or have a CanalDigitaal issued smartcard for satellite system, you won't be able to watch it until the next day when the show is being hosted on the website of SBS6.

As I have mentioned earlier, I will be ready to snapshot the event and upload it to Youtube and of course I'll share the link here. I don't think it'll be necessary though, cause why would MJ reveal himself (should he still be alive) on dutch TV and on dutch TV only? Also, how would he have gotten in the Netherlands? It would have meant extensive traveling and any type of traveling means unnecessary risks, especially when one doesn't want to be discovered.

Michael Jackson News / Re: TMZ TODAY 4/4....MICHEAL KILLED HIMSELF
« on: April 04, 2010, 12:16:42 PM »
Funny defense! It's quite obvious they are redirecting the attention, deliberately creating turbulence and blur. Turbulence and blur are in their favor (they think) as it causes delay. However, they can not back their theory and beliefs with facts. A fact is that CM has admitted he administered Propofol. Also a fact is that he has done that in an inappropriate setting, regardless the amount he has administered.

If I admit I have stolen an egg for someone and in my defense I claim the one I made it possible for to steal eggs, stole two eggs himself, does that make my theft less criminal? (Sorry for using eggs as an example, but my life is about eggs today   )

I think it is probably for ratings, so everyone will tune in. It also was strange that he said, in this mental arena.  Does this mean, that mentally, this person will there, live in spirit and not physically?

This Uri Geller show is all about finding other people (mentalists) who in some way can do the same as Uri Geller. There are currently something like 10 competitors and each week one is being voted out, so in the end remains one who'll get a trophy and may call him/herself "The new Uri Geller". Now, the physical location (just a studio) where the participants are competing is often referred to as "mental arena".

However I doubt hugely it will be MJ revealing himself on an insignificant channel in an even more insignificant country, for security I'll have my camcorder ready (don't have a VCR or something connected) to snapshot the event when it takes place on the 9th. If it is anything noteworthy I'll dump it on Youtube and link it here as anyone who can not catch the channel will be able to view the next day the earliest. Should it really be MJ, I think the website which hosts the shows now will be down due to enormous number of hits. Actually, should MJ reveal himself (in the event he's still alive) I think the whole internet will go down in a matter of minutes as the world massively will be tapping in on all news sites. Such an event would be at least tenfold bigger news than his "death" and would send unbelievable shock waves throughout the world.

Other Odd Things / Re: Murray has a double...
« on: April 03, 2010, 08:21:09 AM »
Two pictures, same person. Reasons for the hard to notice differences could be numerous. One of the reasons could be rescaling (e.g.enlarging vertically) the image in order to fit in a designated area for imagery on a webpage.

Not Geert Wilders. Geert Wilders showing up would do more damage than good to both the show as well as Geert Wilders (so short before the elections). Also, what truth is there to know about Geert Wilders, what possibly could mesmerize everybody about Geert Wilders and nothing about Geert Wilders possibly could be breaking news (besides him disappearing from the political scene all together).

My initial thought was MJ, but no, IF it turns out MJ is still alive and will show up, that certainly would not happen in an insignificant country as the Netherlands and certainly not in this show. My second thought was Jermaine Jackson as he is contributing to another show on the same channel (show called "Move like Michael Jackson"). SBS6 is imho just surfing the financial waves of the regained interests in MJ.

Other Odd Things / Re: Ambulance or coroner's car??
« on: February 03, 2010, 04:44:52 AM »
I hate to burst your bubble, but the ambulance is one of a private company (ProCare), so trying to find the name of the driver in the employee listings of Cedar is not very useful. Also, there are visible big differences between the ambulance and the coroner's van. The body of the ambulance is significantly higher than the coroners van. This additional part allows for more storage and moving space in the ambulance, something not really needed for a coroners van. It is absolutely impossible these two cars (ambulance and coroners van) to be one and the same.

For a clearer picture of one of the ambulances of Procare:

The coroners van may not be shown on the webpage to which you linked, it doesn't mean the LA county coroner doesn't have such vans in their fleet of cars. Just a search on Flickr (keywords: LA county coroner) yielded results of coroner vans exactly the same as MJ was transported in, but related to totally different cases. One user of Flickr in particular obviously finds a lot of joy in photographing LAFD, LAPD, LA county private medical response units and LA county coroner vehicles. Just follow the next link:
