Soul legend and famed Jackson family friend Gladys Knight thinks Paris Jackson is a snot-nosed little brat for bashing Janet -- in fact, Gladys just said Paris deserves to get her TEETH knocked out for mouthing off to her elders.
Gladys just appeared on "The Talk," saying, "Paris is 14? How old is Janet? Who's the one to try to direct the other one here? I would think it's a good thing [Janet] lets Paris know who she is."
Gladys added, "If [Paris] called me that, she would have no teeth ... That's how we were brought up. You respect your elders."
As we reported, Paris and Janet faced off in an explosive argument at the Jackson compound this week. Sources tell us Janet called Paris a "spoiled little bitch" ... and Paris shot back, "This is our house. Not the Jackson family house. Get the f**k out!"

Yes Paris is 14 years old and a teenager.
Everyone seem to be getting off track in the media, she began tweeting because she wanted her grandmother back home and because Randy began lying about the stroke (that was probably what started all the worrying). And Janet, Jermaine and randy and Rebbi was preventing them to get a hold of Katherine.
Media is spinning out of control.
Who know what would have happened to Katherine or the kids if she didn't tweet that stuff.

Though I do think children need to respect their elders--but then I believe that elders also need to respect their kids. Sadly, respect for anyone and anything has been lost on society.

I think though that in this case the Jacksons are showing how the public is handeling things these days and how ridiculous it is for people to take family affairs to the internet for millions of strangers to read. How respect is completely gone these days. The media calls the Jacksons crazy, but all they are doing is showing what is happening in many families lately, they just make the news because they're Jacksons.
I'm thinking the same. I noticed Paris recently add these tweets to her favorites:

IF this is really true, how does Gladis or Janet for that matter, expect a 14 year old to respond when she is called a "bitch"?! You get as much respect as you give. I completly agree that kids should respect the elders but I also know that they are tought by example. What example is Janet giving with taht kind of language?!
I just hope this is not true...

If the story is true about the language (we only have the visual of argument and iphone camera rolling), then PPB have been violated as minors first. There Grandma/gaurdian was taken away from them without proper explanation--bottom line.
But I believe it's all a show--to see where the chips will fall.

I totally think people need to relisten to what Gladys said-- not that she should have had her teeth knocked out but in HER childhood where SHE was raised SHE would have had her teeth knocked out.... Sounds a bit like understanding the context of Joe/Michael to me. And as we all understand, Michael forgave his father in tIME. I hear it with hoaxy ears....:th_bravo: I agree....there has to be a point in the article other than this lady expressing her opinion of something she has absolutely nothing to do with...

Gladys Knight was only going by what she know how it was back then. Parents were more harsh to their kids even further back than Mr. Jackson was with his kids. They were into that spare the rod biblical reference. She's speaking from experience.
And then of course Knight didn't say exactly what TMZ printed. She didn't say Paris deserves to get her teeth knocked out or she's a snot nosed little brat. In fact, all the tabloids didn't print that Paris called Janet anything did they? They wrote that Janet called her the b word. So I'm confused.
And btw, Knight said people read into what Paris tweets. Well isn't that what she's doing? Reading into what tabloids are writing?

That's the media though, spin it so out of control that the actual story to begin with is lost and appears to have never existed.. spirals down the rabbit hole.
I find it really hard hearing people say that abo,ut young people it doesn't matter how it was in the 50's, 60's or the 80's those years are long gone and we are in the 21st century
