There must be a reason for the Green Man to be shown in the WATW 25.
For me, someone is trying to explain to us how vids/films can be manipulated by the usage of :
1)The Green Man - is the object where whoever wants to put/insert an image of someone to be used in the vid/film,
2)The 3Ds - is the high tech filming where computer graphics are used to enhance the 3 dimensional viewing.
If these two things are being used nowadays, anybody can make a film to suit their agendas/projects. I was quite surprised that they have shown the Green Man walking around among the singers of the WATW 25. If they wanted to show/insert/put an image of someone, why would they give away their secret of how they do it - it would spoil the fan. But now we are aware of how they do it.
In TII Movie, it was shown there how they were able to show some dancers to look like a multitude.
Same with the 3D movies, they would show how one human face can be altered into something else that they want the viewers to see through computer graphics.
With all these, maybe some of the vids/films about Michael that are supposed to be news feeds/info feeds, are meant to mislead/confuse/deviate us from the truth. There must be so many and I would just like to mention some - ambulance/UCLA vids, helicopter vids, & funeral vids.
I do hope I was able to explain that there's a reason for the explanations for using The Green Man & Computer Graphics for filming.
I do hope you get my point - that nothing seems to be what they appear to be.

It was NOT! It's almost impossible, and it would take much time.. So, the person was there.

In the official video the green man appears there. If he was added by using of some technology don't you think the others singers would have been informed and especially Jennifer wouldn't have had that expression on her face.
There is no explanation for Jennifer to have that expression on her face, except if she saw something unexpected, shocking, or someone she knows and she is shocked to see that the person is there.
Any technology that would have been used there I'm sure that no motif could have been to be kept secret from the singers, on the contrary in order to be well done they all should be informed about that. It seems that Jennifer has a normal reaction of surprise so she and others didn't know nothing about some 3D images etc...
So I'm sure that Green Man was there as a man not a image.

I totally agree with you Earthsong....you only see the head of the greenman for a split second....this reminds me of a quote from TII..."and piece, by piece, by piece, MJ is revealed!" First we have the greenman, then we have the "fake" ambulance pic being revealed...little by little the truth that MJ is alive is being revealed!! Just my opinion. :D

the problem with the theory that the green man was there for users to add thier own pic is this.
its barely shown and is to low, so how are you going to green screen yourrself in.
and that was not added after, that green guy is actually thier but id ont know why since the green guy is standing way to short to do any one any good

I was talking to a friend who has a great theory on this subject. She thinks that it's a joke, played by Michael to make liers out of ET. Since ET still employs DIane Diamond, ahem, they are prime targets for making an example out of.
So green man gets added to ETs footage, ET spins some crap about how it's to add your own image to the video, this is obviously bullshit as Badkolo says... so you get to add your left eye and hair to WatW? Not.
So ET is set up to report and perpetuate an OBVIOUS LIE... they really look like idiots. Lol, she thinks they got punked.
Makes sense to me considering they also got the Ambulance pic and Oxman now says that's a fake too. ET looks like liers x2 now.

Because the vidéo we see this green boy (link in this thread) it's not the official video clip of WATW 2010, it's a making off. May be they'll put a version of the official video with this green boy who will appear more that 1 second and on another angle of vision.

yes Cameron maybe ........... but we all see this know and on the their page We are the World 25 for Haiti it was this video of 1 sec. Green Man appereance, we can't go with "maybe".
They should have said that this is a first recording version of We are the World and we could understand ... but all the newspapers/TV said We are the World a new version with many singers, officialy released on the 2010 Olimpics Games and so on ........

Cameron pay attention to that video where that guy said : we put Him, we put 2 .... if it was a child he would definitely said we put A CHILD, especially because We are the World song has a powerful significance, then because were shown many children from Haiti on that screen, so it would have been THE FIRST ANNOUNCE to be made : a GREEN CHILD .... the children- symbol of the Planet ..and in the song ...with the line : WE ARE THE CHILDREN ..
But no child was there it was A "Him", meaning a Man, not child. ;)

I think they put a mysterious character in the video wearing green [symbolizing Peter Pan] then edited the video to show this mysterious person for one second and used a see-through stocking mask so everyone could see truth with their own eyes when the video is paused! But i think this person stood on the floor instead of a platform to virtually hide the mysterious creature behind everyone else standing on platforms which is why he looks shorter.
But according to a nonbeliever... they did all that for nothing. It was just a silly mysterious green creature put in the 25th anniversary remake of We Are The World for one second for no reason, rightt??? :roll: :roll: ;) :lol:

You are right akiraka, its not easy like they are saying to digitally ourselves in the green guy , and its just no sense do all this work to appear for 1 second with "half of our head" behind a full coral of singers...this is just silly

Ok look, Green man was part of the WATW video. Now it is possible that this was planned so that people could later insert themselves in to the video. Fine, I can see that but...
Green man also looks like Michael. So...
A plausible excuse must be given to the public and media for the appearance of this Green Man in the video, whether it is true or not.
It is therefore possible that Michael was present at the making of the WATW video and disguised himself as the Green Man. A planned extra to this video that no one at the filming would question. A perfect disguise that no one would think twice about but one he would be able to use to show himself to the public too. A new technology etc that would get media attention so that we would see him!

I still feel confidently this specific green man is Michael. In the video above the two prominent green men are around only in a couple takes and their faces are hidden behind opaque masks, but the 1 sec hiding guy's mask is transparent with a hair cap. The face is clearly MJ. Also in the video with 2 walking greens, they frequently pan to where Tony Bennett stands and the green man is NEVER there. The decoys and loopy tech explanations are to mislead and fool people (has happened over and over again in this hoax!!!). This Diane Dimmond who was so hard on Michael during his 2005 trial said she was the ONLY media invited to attend the live making!! I think she was punked on purpose. Michael maybe slipped in and out while they are all singing, in one of the many takes, tapped Jennifer Hudson's behind so she gasps naturally (as he's known to do)! This all may even be the reason TMZ had the story about Klein wanting his green jacket back from Michael. And Michael has decades of experience slipping in and out of crowded places in disguise. Plus MJ's stated connections to green Kermit, Peter Pan, alien, Jolly green giant. "Our eyes don't lie".

For me it sounds like an explanation not because people were talking about Green Man, but because they were talking about Green Man being MJ :D . And we saw a lot of Green Men on the streets in other videos so logically they could be add in a video with other people, objects etc... The surprise effect here in We are the World it's not this, it's that everyone's mind seeing this image runs to MJ as being the Green Man and not to anyone else. :D
And I would believe their explanation about the Green Man if he was not been "added" next to 3 T, why not in the back or in the left side of the image ?. No, he was right next to 3 T and behind Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer who sang at the Memorial "Will you be there" and who in that moment make a face like that :shock:

1) how can you say this is a leak of the video when the stars of the video are the ones interdicting it. this is the official video of the song. and the green man is in it and it will stay that way unless the remake the video and cut it out.
2) about the woman that makes the shocked face. to me as i watch the video it looks as though she mess up the lines. it was a oh crap i mess up moment.
3) like many has said why would you want to be in the video for only 1 sec well not even a sec really. if that was the case they would have had the green man in the front and you would have been able to see it for a long time.

We Are The World's Odd Green Men Explained
The presence of strange green men who joined the stars of the WE ARE THE WORLD revamp in the studio has been explained - karaoke fans will get the chance to be them when the long-form video of the song is released.
Director Paul Haggis is using the latest technology to create a promo, which music fans will be able to insert themselves into at home - and belt out the charity anthem alongside their heroes.
To do this, the Crash director had two people - dressed head to toe in bright green - stand among the likes of Celine Dion, Natalie Cole and Barbra Streisand.
Haggis explains, "It was one of the executive producer's idea to put these two figures in the video so that people at home could go on and put themselves, singing in there. It'll be in the longer version that we put out for home video.

We Are The World's Odd Green Men Explained
The presence of strange green men who joined the stars of the WE ARE THE WORLD revamp in the studio has been explained - karaoke fans will get the chance to be them when the long-form video of the song is released.
Director Paul Haggis is using the latest technology to create a promo, which music fans will be able to insert themselves into at home - and belt out the charity anthem alongside their heroes.
To do this, the Crash director had two people - dressed head to toe in bright green - stand among the likes of Celine Dion, Natalie Cole and Barbra Streisand.
Haggis explains, "It was one of the executive producer's idea to put these two figures in the video so that people at home could go on and put themselves, singing in there. It'll be in the longer version that we put out for home video.

Okay, I was just listening again, to the explanation of the two green men in the video by Paul Haggis. On the ET segment of the making of the video, he says that it was an executive producers idea to put HIM, I mean them in the video.

I so want to believe that the green man is MJ, but...got to thinking...could either or both of them be Paris and Prince instead? Only reason I thought this is because Blanket was there.

I gave the photo of the green man, Prince and Michael to my friend who does very good photoshops, so she compared the 3 photos with each other in many different ways and finally said that its not Prince,its a grown man and the features of the green man fit perfectly to Mike's features, i dunno why but im sure its Michael ,just look at his face, the same eyes,eyebrows and nose, just totally the same.

Aren't there supposedly two green men in the video? Where is the other one? Has anyone looked into the other person, and are they visible in the video? I can't tell.
And yeah, the one, very much looks like MJ, but the thought of the kids just crossed my mind. I don't think it looks like Prince, but on some site, (Graces page or Gracie?) anyway, they showed a shot of the video which looked like Blanket was there, and so that made me think of the other two kids.

that's not the green man, of which we thought who's MJ. That's the other who stood in the front.
I think the other one really looks like MJ...I think it couldn't be Blanket because he's too small, nobody could see him standing behind Tony Bennet and Enrique ENglesias..
And the eyebrows and the nose tip....

Yep, that was the kid. On the page I saw him on, it was a shot from a distance, and they said it was him. But I can clearly see now it isn't :-)
So, MJ seems more likely than ever as being the one green man :D

Ok this green man just got me wonder.. It COULD really be Mike.. in the video, that part (almost half of a half of a second....) where you see that green guy, it does remind me of Mike. I mean, all that i can see of him under that green suit. On the other hand, it COULD be anyone and these people are playing with us. For now i believe it is our Mike there.

Yes! I think so.. Idk if it's just the pose they are in but to me they do look a bit the same! Aww, pretty cute.
