Beverly Hilton hotel employees tell TMZ ... Whitney Houston was found dead in the bathtub of her room.

As we previously reported, a member of Whitney's entourage discovered her unresponsive and called hotel security, who then called 911.

We're told police arrived to the scene within minutes and fire was already there on an unrelated call. Paramedics performed CPR, but it did not work and she was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM.

Our sources say there were no obvious signs of foul play, but BH PD detectives have begun a full investigation.

As of this post, cops are still waiting on a warrant to search the room.

Wow,so sad the Queen of Pop is dead,cant believe it.Is this another Illuminati sacrifice.This reminds me so much of M.J.,the media keeps linking her death to Michael,what the hell is going on.To me,this is not a natural cause death.A lot of numerology,on the eve of the Grammy s,and the police are opening an investigation.Something is definitely up,i am speechless,but i hope we get answers soon.God bless you Whitney,you were a true icon.

This is very very sad. I remember listening to Whitney's music on a road trip I did back in 1988 to Queensland on a holiday with my sister.....we both loved her music. The tape was on constant rotation in the car on that trip......her's and a mixed tape of Michael's music I had made up for the trip. Good times.
