Katherine Jackson was persuaded by her son, Randy, to file the wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“Katherine didn't want to sue AEG for Michael's death,” a source with knowledge of the situation tells us.
“Katherine was ultimately swayed by her son Randy to sue AEG.
“Most people assume that the lawsuit was Joe's -- and that Joe controls Katherine, but Randy has much more control of Katherine than Joe does.
“Joe spends a majority of his time in Las Vegas.
“Randy lives in Southern California and sees Katherine at least 4-5 times a week."
The wrongful death lawsuit that Katherine filed against AEG stunned even her closest advisers who weren't notified about the action.
“Katherine has a couple of business associates that are independent of any Jackson family control or influence,” said the source.
“Those associates weren't told about the lawsuit and were absolutely stunned, as they had advised her in the past not to sue AEG.”
Michael's three children, who live at the Jackson family Encino compound, are going to have to endure their dad's name being dragged through the mud again, the source claimed.
“Michael's children are going to suffer the most because of this lawsuit,” added the source.
“It's truly sad that they are going to have to go through this. The kids will hear unflattering things about their dad because of this lawsuit.
“They are the real victims in all of this.”
Randy Jackson is responsible for introducing Howard Mann, the founder of the Naked Women's Wrestling League, to his mom.
Said the source, “It was Howard Mann's idea to have Katherine and Joe appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
“Katherine is for all intents and purposes a puppet for Randy and Howard for financial gain for the two of them.
"Katherine is biting the hand that feeds her by suing AEG.
“One of the reasons Michael's estate is getting out of the red, and making a profit, is because of the footage AEG shot of Michael during his rehearsals, which ended up being turned into the movie that has made the estate very, very rich.”

I have a hard time believing that Miss Katherine would be anyone's, "puppet"....... what are we missing here? Wasn't Randy ill a few months ago? What's he been up to?

I only wish she had waited until after the trial, if that ever happens I mean :roll: She is too old to be making these kinds of moves without seeking real and good legal advice. Is she and Joe really emotionally and physically ready to sit through 2 long drawn out trials? I think they jumped the gun on that decision.

Randy's face scares me sometimes. It looks like the sides of his face were sewn on at some point : P I know that sounds ridiculous but I've been holding that thought in my head for quite sometime now and since that pic is there I said hell I'll finally say it. Lol

I think Randy was actually in an accident back in the day. So maybe that's why his face may look a little different on the sides. Plus he got a big head too.lol I also read that he was in a hospital before so I don't know how true this is. Anyway I don't think Randy would be telling Mother Katherine what to do. I don't see that happening. She seem sweet but don't be fooled Mother Katherine got a fiesty side too. She had to put up with Joe all those years. She act just like my grandma and she kinda favor her too.

Does anybody remember the TMZ headline - Katherine Jackson - the buck stops here. I can't copy it right now. But the way I read it at the time was that Katherine was calling the shots, probably via Michael. "The buck stops here" was a sign that US President Harry Truman had on his desk...it may still be on the President's desk. It means the President is the final decision maker.

Food for thought. If Randy controlled or even had influence over Katherine, she wouldn't have gone to Gary on 6/25, she would have been at FL.

yes, indeed. Randy's comments seem to be only towards Oprah and her story but at the same time, between the lines, he sort of denies he has a "control" over Katherine.
