Hoax Videos / Re: New video from Lastsevenwords
« on: February 14, 2010, 10:04:45 PM »
I agree with several of the comments about these videos thus far:

1. They are creepy/haunting.
2. They don't (upon a cursory viewing, at least) assert anything that we haven't discussed here on MJDHI.
3. They are creative.
4. They are manipulative (isn't ALL media?).

My beLIEf is that these videos are incredibly sophisticated to be the work of an amateur -- somebody with experience put a LOT of time and effort into them. That, I think, we can assume, right?

This begs the question -- did the creator of these videos make them as part of the hoax....as a means of providing affirmation for much of the work we've done thus far and likely providing us with more clues?

Or...is this someone who simply wants to mess with our minds and show us to be fools?

Either way, a WHOLE lot of effort is being put into it.

Souza, I definitely feel where you're coming from with your skepticism, but I'm not sure that we should dismiss these videos -- we shouldn't be dismissing ANYTHING at this point.

Think about it....if Michael created this elaborate hoax, as we believe, wouldn't it be a multimedia effort? Wouldn't he use YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and every other commonly visited form of internet communication?

If someone thought that we hoax beLIEvers were so pathetic, would he or she go to the lengths LastSevenWords has to deceive us?

Maybe....or maybe not. Only time will tell.

Michael Jackson News / Re: Jermaine at ET online
« on: February 05, 2010, 07:06:36 PM »
I know it's hard to keep the faith when footage like this presents itself, but as MJalive999 said -- it's a hoax!! Upon watching the video of Jermaine, what struck me was that he looked "upset", his voice broke a couple of times and he dabbed at his eyes with a tissue, but there were NO ACTUAL TEARS.

For a hoax to be believable, some acting skills will come into play. Remember, Michael wants to show us how easily we can be manipulated by media offerings. Jermaine's "tearful", earnest statements play into that -- no more, no less.

Keep the faith, beLIEve and don't lose focus on Michael's larger goal.

didnt anyone else felt like paris was giving us a clue when she said daddy was suppose to be here tonight?   also i believe midnightmlk is on the inside cause she tweeted earlier that the kids clean up nice and that they was nervous and remembering the lines she said we should be patient

I think she might have been. She didn't make much sense otherwise!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who thought it sounded live! I mentioned it to my partner and she laughed at me!! She contends that he must have recorded another version. It sounded emotional and LIVE to me.....

TIAI & TS Discussions / Re: www.thisisalsoit.com

I have watched the video twice now and find it to be one of the most moving pieces of art I've ever seen! I think a number of parallels with/allusions to MJ can be found. First of all, how incredibly sad is it to think that MJ might have felt this way about how he was treated by the media? His inner strength, however, sustained him through each cruel blow. When he finally decides to throw off his coat (the conventions/expectations of society), he becomes....Invincible. It cannot be pure coincidence that the man in the video assumes the pose of Jesus on the cross/MJ on the This Is It poster. Is MJ telling us that he has "risen above" it all and, therefore, won?

On a side note -- it sounds like the man in the video shouts "Simmer!" multiple times, then...BAM! Creepy, no? This is either Michael, or someone is doing a very clever job of messing with us.....

Praying for the former and awaiting the redirect!
