this has bothering me since i went to the 02 exhibition
the stage shoes mike was due to wear they dont seen that comfortable for the moves etc

Well the costume designer Zaldy said they were custom made for Michael. since He never had shoes custom-made for Him.

I think that is because they are unworn...un broken in. I'm sure they would have been comfortable. But if you look at the ball of the foot area, it is very wide. It was made to the shape of MJ's foot. I dont think they would have needed much wearing in.
any one know what brand of Loafers MJ wore on a regular basis? I could google it but maybe someone knows already?

i think there are two clear jelly shoes with big stones on them.
when i went to the 02 i saw the only one of the hard jelly plastic sandals, they are sandals
they would rip your feet up - they are like glass slippers - made of plastic eek

we also did not have the full dress rehearsal... just so many not done yets

clothes not worn - to see if they function - and that he can dance with tower blocks on his shoulders?

Yeah....guarantee he was never going to wear any of these. Well I can't guarantee that =P but it is highly unlikely, no? And Zaldy said they were custom made so that the insides matched his old worn in ones....these don't look like they are any different from brand new shoes on the inside. Just for show if you ask me.

the other tour clothes he wore were at the exhibition well some, the gold stuff for example (girls dont faint)
but that out fit and may others like the remember the time outfit look very flexible
the new stuff looked very tight and restrictive
they are nice suits but they are suits
just makes me think about the shows - still feels a little
i mine we have valentino saying he was booked, we have mike sorting everyone out in rehearsal, we have lightman not ready, non of the stuff there, mike needing his 2nd med test to do the 20 additional shows from the first test, and maybe a further for the world tour, we have th shoes that would kill your feet, the props not being shipped or cargo jet flown,
sometimes it sees it was all go and other times it seems like such a hoax

I love being barefoot, and just.. cringe when I see those.
Didn't Michael have big feet? How would he get into those anyways? They seem so small.

It's slang in the U.S. for like shiny things, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and even the shiny stones on the shoes :D

I think those ones that looked kinda like sandles were Silver in color and you just couldnt see the top of the shoe real well. I think they were silver with rhinestone studs. Just my opinion.

I answered my own question...he wore
Sebago Caymen (not Caymen II) penny loafers...as in this picture at around 120. dollars and also he has been known to wear Bas Weejuns and Florsheim Como Ornament Shoes for history tour.

I agree, they're so classic MJ. With him practising for hours each day, like the guards said, I wonder how many shoes he had like those, and what he did when they were worn out. I remember a post long time ago, where it said at Neverland or Encino people used to go through his trash to find treasures to collect or sell I guess.

Maybe he did say 'I'd be better off dead' at the last rehearsal. Perhaps Zaldy had turned up with those plastic horrors for a fitting.
Or maybe see-through shoes are meant to be part of the show.

I don't think it was good idea from the beginning. Dancers have terrible feet because they practice too much. It's not the best thing to show.
And btw, who would see his feet from such a distance?
I still don't get the idea of that shoes.
If he was supposed to wear socks underneath he's legs still would be soooo sweaty, if no socks - he would slide inside the shoe and grate the skin.
That Zaldy is crazy asshole!

Mike always wore such great shoes. Many I would say hand made for Him personally. I'm thinking of the 95 MTV awards [ same as TMZ coffin moonwalk] . Absolute class. I gotta admit I got a bit of a thingy for shoes and these transparent plastic numbers are not doin it for me. To dance in these I would imagine to be hell. Sorry Zaldy.
