We need more contributors. I say we keep tweeting #ElvisAndMJdotcom for the rest of the day, and we need also the people that didn't tweet yet. We have enough tweets to make it trending (as long as we keep the hashtag in our tweets all day), but we need more contributors. So if you haven't tweeted yet, start doing it now!

EVEN if we will not get this trending in the next couple of hours, maybe even days, we showed that we don´t give up and that we as a group at least are able to unite and fight. I do think that eventually we could get it trending, yet we will have the soccer tweets again on July 7 that will be in the way. You don´t have to make it your day job, if you just add the hashtag to all your daily tweets, it would be of help already. If we keep this going now, maybe we can make something work again on the 8th, when there will be no soccer.
#ElvisAndMJdotcom is not trending yet. We don't have enough tweeters. Setting a new date and time won't do anything, if we will be with only a few hundred again, most certainly not now with the soccer tweets.
But stop tweeting makes people forget. While we try to find a solution to get attention to it, we should keep tweeting. If non-believers are picking up on the hashtag #ElvisAndMJdotcom and go to http://wthashtag.com/Elvisandmjdotcom (http://wthashtag.com/Elvisandmjdotcom) they will see the hashtag has been tweeted 29,000 times in less then 3 days, making it more interesting to check out.
I do think it's a good idea to make some new tweets including other trendics, like people mentioned in the other thread.

I suggest we use this thread to post examples of tweets that include one or more of these trending ones, plus our hashtag #ElvisAndMJdotcom
Make them funny or interesting enough to trigger people to retweet.
Another idea is to all follow http://twitter.com/PerezHilton (http://twitter.com/PerezHilton) and tweet him about #ElvisAndMJdotcom. Maybe if he gets bombarded with tweets, he might use it in one of his tweets to ask why people are sending it to him. He has millions of followers, I think it's worth a shot.
I still believe that doing nothing is helping even less, and tweeting the hashtag doesn't hurt anyone. So not trending yet, but that doesn't mean we should stop and start all over in a few days.
Other ideas are more than welcome.

Your account shouldn't be PRIVATE. any of the #tweet you make doesn't count if you're keeping your tweets private! Keep that on mind!

People didn't get it. Not all of them are following you or they're not reading the forum now. They keep on making tweets instead of making your tweet RT. But this's the easiest way to show people about ElvisandMJdotcom. It stay on the Main Page of Twitter for hours!

Right, I tweeted 70 something times last night (UK), and this morning have retweeted Souza's tweet and 'favourite starred' it as well.
Seems like number of contributers is more important than number of tweets, and I don't know how I can increase numbers. I have no 'followers' and don't know anyone who tweets.
Is it worthwhile me tweeting again this morning? Is there anything more I can do?

If it is important to all at the same time we should set a specific time again. And open explorer and firefox at the same time, so we directly double. Even so I have already a lot of accounts.

2. Of the 488 contributors we have, put out a tweet begging for each one of your followers to just tweet #ElvisandMJdotcom just once!
If each one of the 488 could just get 20-30 people to do this, we would go from 488 contributors to thousands which is what we need to trend!

What I am doing to hit the curiosity of readers is adding in my tweets a top 3 a trending topic. I.E: #idefinitelydont believe what the media is feeding us with. I´ll tell you why at #ElvisandMJdotcom

LOL I have 6 I think (I may make some more today)and I'm in jail in some of them. I'm switching accounts.

I've done like this: Make a new account, favorite+retweet Souza's post, then tweet 3-5 times and then make a new one again. (=more contributors) And when my original account works again, I use it too.

I think the main issue is that there are not enough contributors, and not that we are all tweeting when we want.
I'm doing the best I can, on facebook especially, but, i've seen that there are beLIEvers who think that TIAI is bull***it, so it's hard to make them tweet #elvisandmjdotcom ...
i'll create some other accounts on twitter tonight, to help rasing the number of contributors ...

Ok, I'm home from work now. What's the plan for today? Are we just carrying on indefinitely?!
I can't do much to bring in more contributors (which it seems is what we need), but I'll keep making new accounts! Do I need to do lots of tweets on these new accounts or am I better off to just keep making new accounts, to add to contributors. I don't have any followers, only signed up so I could do this, so hope I'm not wasting my time.

Especially, bringing in the Elvis angle ??? It takes true diligence to study the 6/25 hoax and connect all the dots much less add another hoax from 40 years ago. The Elvis angle only muddies the waters but it does show a road map MJ could have followed. To really understand this hoax you have to ingest it a piece at a time. To stream tons of people who want an instant answer to ELVISANDMJ.com will only complicate matters. I barely understand that thread myself . A total novice will only click off. This tweet campaign could make the entire hoax investigation seem like a silly conspiracy theory and forever make any solid facts on this case a joke to the world. If this hoax is exposed prematurely ...do you think an uninformed person would consider MJ's well being or would they revert to saying he is weird and a wacko? Do you think it could make the fickle media attention on MJ AND HIS KIDS go back to pure harrassment like before??? Actions have consequinces and Good intentions do not always work out .

From Day #1 there were good reasons to doubt the media reports but how can we know if we are interferring in his plans and risking the outcome he desires ??? Such as tweeting hashlines. I am not tweeting because of TIAI or Elvis (even less because of the "iluminati" or political conspiracies).Those topics are not the main reason for me to read and contribute in this forum.
I am tweeting because in this forum a lot of information regarding Michael Jackson´s unjustices, showing how he was a victim of conspiracy and more has been discussed and enough research to see Michael as a human being, not as an artist, has been also done.
Is not taking the attention of non believers, media or the rest of fans. They labeled us long ago,and when I say US is understanding US as the people who won´t buy how Michael died and won´t buy what has ben presented to us so far regarding his case.
In my opinion, it is important that more people get awarenees of Michael´s suffering and injustices done to him in the past and all that may have lead to his death, phychs or spiritual death, it does not matter, he is already gone and he deserves R.I.P for once and his name to be cleared forever.

MJ has asked a thousand times for us to take a closer look at him as a person so we might understand him. From now on it may pay to take a closer look at all new releases. Not just look at them but reallly study them.

I think that we are not just the audience too. We have to do someting to help spreading his message because he can't do anything right now.
Concerning this twitter event, I start thinking that it's not the best idea to help Michael. Some people, even beLIEvers, are tweeting that we are just sheeps, and that this Elvis thing has nothing to do with Michael. We are losing beLIEvers.
You have probably seen some of those tweets, here are some :

Explain to me WHY we need to" help get MJ's message across"??? Across to whom??? What should we do? Stand on soap boxes in the town square?? Send mass tweets??? How again does that help "his message"? and BTW: exactly what is his message???? Some would say its L.O.V.E............well that certainly narrows it down !!! MJ wrote and sang about many things he wished to communicate for decades......its up to each individual to understand his work. MJ is in charge. Let's not insult him by thinking we can tell him how to succeed in his own hoax. Things are definitely going his way so I think he has it under control. One has to be willing to hear alternative info on MJ. Simply stating he faked his death does nothing to a skeptic. Recall proverb: You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.
NO ONE here has any idea how he wants all this to end. I don't think that puts us in ANY position to help. Our "help" may be more hindrance. When I say "its his show and his hoax...we are the audience" ...I do not mean we are literally sitting in auditorium seats being quiet. By "audience " I mean those who are following his hoax. Geezzzzz.
We should respect his wishes and let him unveil his work as he deems fit. Its not our place to set his time schedule to suit our whim. Insist on helping??? what we have been trying to do on twitter is a great idea, and as Souza said, it doesnt cost us anymore and doesnt hurt, so why not? why not try and do something together to really show that we are united and that we care and understand his message? and even if some of us still dont understand his message, at least by trying to do something, we are trying to understand better.

There seems to be a misconception about trending topics. The "number of contributors" isn't a number you can "work up to" over days or even hours; the number has to shoot up to (or near) 1,000 within several minutes (and to keep trending, that number will have to keep steadily increasing) because it indicates thousands are tweeting at the same time, thousands are interested in the topic, thereby making it "trendy".
Like I explained a week prior to this event, in order for a topic to trend we need:
- Thousand(s) tweeting at the same time. Not 500 now, 500 later, but all 1000+ at the same time.
- Keep the hashtag "fresh"; the hashtag cannot be used before the set time and day which is why I suggested not to use the hashtag on twitter within the 7 days that we organized ourselves.
We failed to do both.
The first one I've already explained so let me expound on why #2 is important: the hashtag needs to spike. But what does that mean exactly? Ideally the hashtag should go from 0 tweets (never been used) to over 1,000+ within seconds/minutes as I tried to explain again on the July 5th thread by posting these graphs: viewtopic.php?p=201018#p201018 (http://michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=201018#p201018)
If you go to WTHashtag (http://wthashtag.com) at any one time, I can guarantee that the "1st place" hashtag's graph will show that the hashtag had not been used prior to that day—unless of course you visit the site around 12 am (their time) as one day turns into the next seeing as people are still tweeting.
With this in mind, I don't think we should "grasp at straws" and further push the twitter-thon another day. It's counterproductive in actually making the topic trend; the hashtag won't spike at this point. But I agree with lilwendy and see no harm in regular twitter-users including the hashtag in their regular tweets.
I also don't see the harm in displaying our unity, Souza, but to be quite frank, why are we rushing this? No doubt a successful twitterthon would demonstrate our ability to unite and fight, I can't say the same for this kind of stumbling around, "hoping" that the we can get the topic trending especially when we already know how to trend it and we just have to take the necessary steps to accomplish that. Our numbers more than doubled within a week; who knows how many more we could have recruited had we extended the organizing period to a month (like the Justice4MJ groups do). Maybe we wouldn't have recruited more than a thousand, maybe we could have, but we didn't even give it the proper time or chance. Right now, my heart's not really into this, but If this is what TS/Michael wants to do, I'm willing to give it another try.

after these couple of days of tweeting it's pretty obvious that we are much too short of tweeters to get the topic to trend. how we MIGHT overcome this: if we somehow manage to get the attention strangers who are not even believers to retweet our stuff. some people have tried this: adding the #ElvisandMJdotcom tag together with something that is already trending (e.g. right now the top topic is Cedric Diggory, some believer might tweet 'Cedric Diggory #ElvisandMJdotcom' and start spamming so that it will show on the real-time search for 'Cedric Diggory' as well. What if we had more people spamming?? it will flood the search page for 'Cedric Diggory' and people who click on that search will see our tag.
If our tweet sounds ridiculous enough some strangers might retweet for the fun of it. I do not think people like to retweet stuff that sounds too 'promoted' unless they themselves believe in it. If we do nothing this hoax will have been in vain?????........This is a PERFECT example of the HUBRIS some have. THE HOAX IS ABOUT MJ FAKING HIS DEATH. Its not about this site, TS or any other Internet site that talks about the hoax. We are NOT THE HOAX.......It ain't about us. Apparently MJ would prefer right now the world think him deceased. The only person to reverse that is the man himself. I know you can't sum up the contributors over the days and I know we aren't with enough. But stop tweeting makes people forget. While we try to find a solution to get attention to it, we should keep tweeting. If non-believers are picking up on the hashtag #ElvisAndMJdotcom and go to http://wthashtag.com/Elvisandmjdotcom (http://wthashtag.com/Elvisandmjdotcom) they will see the hashtag has been tweeted 29,000 times in less then 3 days, making it more interesting to check out.
I do think it's a good idea to make some new tweets including other trendics. I am thinking justin bieber, world cup, mick jagger etc. I will make a new global for comments where we can post standard tweets including other popular trends, and if we make the tweets funny enough we might get some attention.
I still believe that doing nothing is helping even less, and tweeting the hashtag doesn't hurt anyone. So not trending yet, but that doesn't mean we should stop and start all over in a few days. If you are not participating because you think it isn't all working, then come up with a better idea.

What is stopping people to read is the Elvis connection.
That is not positive. To have the name Elvis involved just makes all the efforts in the investgation look non credible.
Michael Jackson fans are Michaels and don´t care about Elvis. Elvis is gone since 33 years.
I don´t like to be identified with Elvis either, so I can understand why people is upset and won´t tweet or support the forum.
I am only concern about Michael and admit that I have a hard time tweeting with that combination "Elvisandmjdotcom". I am here to find out and get to know and understand about Michael. Elvis issue is a turn off.
Still, I tweeted yesterday and made clear why I do it. I have contributed :)

I whole heartedly agree with you. It is one thing to claim Michael Jackson is alive and to have people think you're bonkers, but when you add Elvis into it, who has been gone for so long, it begins to look ridiculous. No matter what the truth may be, perhaps it's best to start with the simple stuff, only relating to Mike, and then gradually draw them into the whole Elvis thing, and maybe then we'll have some new beLIEvers :)

Its not about this site, TS or any other Internet site that talks about the hoax. We are NOT THE HOAX.......It ain't about us. Apparently MJ would prefer right now the world think him deceased. The only person to reverse that is the man himself. He does leave clues for those who are willing to think outside the box that he faked it but sending people cold turkey with zero background knowledge to a site that compares the hoax of two famous musicians does not spread MJ's "message" ....It just pumps the views of the site. There the focus is on how these two were forced into pretending they were dead to escape what the world demanded of them. Want to be part of that?? You have to ask yourselves..........Is this about MJ or is it about the desires of some? Let's not get side tracked. Aren't we suppose to be following his clues?
To prove my point ........where is the discussion on the "new" TII "rehearsal" video released on July 5th??? Its absolutely loaded with TII the movie contradictions and nothing.......nada.......zero. Its all been about tweeting . So much for following HIS clues. I ain't about us people.

no one said the hoax was about this site or TS. We all know the hoax is about MJ faking his death. This site is just a place for us believers to come together, and TS just so happens to be someone who seems to be in the know, and who has provided a lot of interesting and informative clues and evidence.

You say that we are assuming what Mj wants - how would we possibly know exactly what MJ want? simple, we dont know 100% what Mj wants but given the clues we, or i, have come to my own conclusion. we/i may not know with 100% certainty what Mj wants but neither do you.
are we supposed to just sit back and relax and Follow his clues only? why would trying to make a change or difference in the world hurt? why would trying to be a better person jeopardize the hoax?
if all we wanted was our 15 minutes of fame, why would we hide on the internet? why not try and get a reality show or be in a reality show?

Explain to me WHY we need to" help get MJ's message across"??? Across to whom??? What should we do? Stand on soap boxes in the town square?? Send mass tweets??? How again does that help "his message"? and BTW: exactly what is his message???? Some would say its L.O.V.E............well that certainly narrows it down !!! MJ wrote and sang about many things he wished to communicate for decades......its up to each individual to understand his work. MJ is in charge. Let's not insult him by thinking we can tell him how to succeed in his own hoax. Things are definitely going his way so I think he has it under control. One has to be willing to hear alternative info on MJ. Simply stating he faked his death does nothing to a skeptic. Recall proverb: You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.
NO ONE here has any idea how he wants all this to end. I don't think that puts us in ANY position to help. Our "help" may be more hindrance. When I say "its his show and his hoax...we are the audience" ...I do not mean we are literally sitting in auditorium seats being quiet. By "audience " I mean those who are following his hoax. Geezzzzz.
We should respect his wishes and let him unveil his work as he deems fit. Its not our place to set his time schedule to suit our whim. Insist on helping??? Make it your job to educate yourself on his life and all the falsehoods he endured. Once you have done that you truly have helped him. For what he does from here on out will make sense to you.
yes many of us, if not all, have educated ourselves about his life. And with that knowledge, if we just keep it to ourselves, are we helping him as much as we can? i have heard friends speak of MJ's trial without knowing the facts. Once i explained to them what really happened, they were speechless and interested to know more and to find out more. Hasn't that helped him more?

ok cool. i just meant we are hiding our faces on the internet in a sense because it's not like we are revealing who we are personally. so in that sense how would i get my proper 15minutes if that was all i wanted. main point is i am here on this site because i believe and want to know the truth.
