Interesting jacket they have found on a post-Sandy NJ beach. Why does it look familiar? Also interesting wording in the article about what the jacket represents.

Sorry, I forget how to add the picture.

That's a crazy coincidence.

Ya it totally looks like the jackets the TII dancers wore at the funeral. Too bad the photo doesn't show more of the jacket.

A West Point uniform jacket belonging to the late Chester deGavre that was found at a New Jersey beach by Donna Gugger of Holland, Pa. after Superstorm Sandy, is shown Wednesday in Onacock, Va.

Weird... thats the exact same jacket the dancers from TII wore to Michael's funeral... :suspect:
-
Yep. And in the article it says the widow saw the jackets return as "...nothing less than a symbol of resurrection and renewal in a landscape scarred by sorrow and loss." Things that make you go "hmmmmmm" or "Holy Crap!" Not sure which. :icon_lol:

Amazing! More CLUES on clothes! :icon_e_wink:
I've always wondered why so many people were so stubborn and refused to accept all the clues on clothes we've received so far!
It's more and more OBVIOUS that the clothes (designs, colors) have played a MAJOR part in the hoax ever since the very beginning , even before!
Clothes are an important "tool" to body language!! which is subtle, encoded... perfect for hoax purposes!! Only refined, keen observes catch the hidden message!!
And when it comes to ARTISTS! even more so! NEVER ignore clothes!

so until bam, perhaps a treasure hunt....
i *so* like this!
-
hang on though... the dancers don't have that arm stuff going on on their jackets. (the gold and black stuff in the shape of a v)
-
Ahhhhh how I love this....
washed ashore - thought to be lost but found - thought to be old but fresh as new
Why am I reminded of another "washed ashore" thought to be extinct

To me it seems to be the same jacket that the dancer wore at the funeral. :icon_question:

Michael's shirt from the "Liberian girl" video!! And may be the camera as well!! :LolLolLolLol: That would be more than enough!

The stripes are added to military jackets to indicate rank. The dancers wore the equivalent of a Private's jacket (lowest rank). The found jacket indicates it belonged to someone of higher rank.
-
Well, well, it even goes further...
Mr. deGavre was a General according to this source.

He did carve waterfowl as his hobby and contributed to exhibits at Ward Museum. One of them being called
"Decoy in Time".

General deGavre died from cardiovascular collapse.

I just stumbled upon this.
This is Mr. Petraeus graduating from West Point with a lot more decoration than the alleged jacket for General deGavre.

Unless this is a clue, the story seems a bit preposterous. Why would a military jacket be such a symbol of resurrection? In fact, to me the story is barely interesting among all the other stories. A symbol of Resurrection? The owner had a 'heart like a stormy sea'?
And then the final comment:
"It's a miracle because it's still a mystery how it made it to that beach and for me to have even had the opportunity to pick it up. It's not really about the jacket, it's about the journey."

That's interesting, but it looks like there are more then one true types of West Point jacket. Might be formal and regular uniform versions because the last pic (of Mr. Petraeus) the jacket is of the same type as the one washed up, not the type in the display in the first pic. The stripes are different but I believe those patches (stripes and otherwise adornments) are added/traded out as the person's rank changes/accomplishments.
It's a really freaky weird coincidence though, and article does read very subtly hoaxy. I have no idea why a military jacket would be a symbol of resurrection, unless it's because the jacket was lost years ago and then found after the storm and was able to be fully restored.
-
That's the point. The washed up jacket looks like the recent style, not like the old style. That's why I consider it to be a replica / recent model and the story to be a lie. Maybe there's someone here really knowing about the jacket style differences.
In the context with the burial uniforms:
we remember TIAI redirects 31 and 32 to "George" http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1930 (http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1930).
Even though TS explained the redirects were referring to two other Georges, this third George has a link to West Point:
George Washington stands above all others as the conceptual founder of the Military Academy. He considered the site of West Point to be so strategic and significant during the American Revolution that he called it the key to the continent.

@Australian MJ BeLIEver Wow, I'm so daft sometimes. Thanks miss G and Bec
:icon_razz: me too.... Thanks guys for your great job !!! :Michael_Jackson_dancing_smile :compute:
-
I think you guys mean ellyd? MissG hasn't posted on this thread, I don't think?
I just want to clarify, to me the found jacket does look like the one Mr. P is wearing in the old pic, only the patches/stars are different. I don't think the old pic of Mr. P wearing his jacket looks like the one in the display case. That's why I was saying maybe there are different style jackets used by West Point for different occasions over the years.
It's still a crazy coincidence, especially with the article's wording.
-
Yep. That'd be ellyd. Sorry ellyd. Told ya I can be daft.
Actually ill blame hoaxing on I phone :icon_e_wink:
-
Wow, thank you for sharing :icon_razz: When I first saw the picture I immediately thought about the jackets of the TII dancers at the funeral too.

:omg: I can not even close my mouth! but my thought is why TII dancers wore a jacket like West Point uniform? :suspect:
-
This jacket news reminds me of 'Michael's Army of love' :icon_e_biggrin:
